Abstract

This study aims to develop a Work Discipline Training Program (P3K) in the Paluta Education Office environment. The problems studied are 1) How is the level of work discipline of employees in the Paluta Education Office environment? 2) How is the quality of service in the Paluta Education Office? 3) How is the performance of administrative staff in the Paluta Education Office? The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and document study. The results showed that the level of work discipline of employees in the Paluta Education Office still needs to be improved, especially in the aspect of attendance and compliance with regulations. The quality of service in the Paluta Education Office is also not optimal, with public complaints regarding the slow administrative process. The performance of administrative staff still needs to be improved, especially in communication skills and mastery of information technology. This research resulted in the design of a Work Discipline Training Program (P3K) which is expected to improve discipline, service quality, and employee performance in the Paluta Education Office environment.

Abstract

The development of information technology has influenced the way various sectors work, including banking. Previously, customer data management was done manually, which often led to data duplication and time delays. This study aims to create and implement a more effective customer information system at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Gunung Tua Branch Office (KCP), so that the data management process becomes faster and more accurate. This study used the R&D method with the Waterfall model. The system was created using the PHP or Laravel programming language and relied on a MySQL database. The results showed that the system was successfully created and implemented. This system supports two main types of users: Admin/Customer Service who can log in, manage customer data (input, change, delete, and search), and print reports; and Customers who can view personal data, monitor savings status, and create new accounts. In conclusion, this system has an integrated database structure (Admin, Customer, Account, Transaction tables) and successfully meets user needs, thereby increasing efficiency and accuracy in customer data management at BSI Gunung Tua KCP.

Abstract

The leaf staining disease caused by the fungus Curvularia sp. is a serious threat to palm coconut cultivation in Binanga Village. Surveys showed that the intensity of the attack reached 25-75% of the infected leaves, especially in seedlings aged <4 months. Humid environmental conditions, poor sanitation, and the use of infected seeds/seeds play a role in the spread of disease. Integrated control strategies combining healthy seeds/seedlings, environmental sanitation, alternate application of fungicides (azoxystrobin, mankozeb, chlorotalonil), insecticides (deltametrin, imidakloprid), and Gandasil D have proven effective. Implementing this strategy reduces the intensity of attacks by 80% and increases the percentage of healthy seedlings by 85%. Despite resource constraints, optimization of control strategies is carried out to the maximum extent possible. Strict monitoring, preventive measures, and planting of resistant varieties also play an important role. This research provides practical recommendations for increasing the production of high-quality palm coconut seedling sustainably in Binanga Village by implementing integrated control strategies against leaf spotted disease Curvularia sp.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis pupuk hijau paitan (Tithonia diversifolia) dan jarak tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) pada tanah Ultisol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di lokasi Perkebunan Percontohan Fakultas Pertanian Unand, Limau Manis, Padang pada September 2018 hingga Januari 2019. Riset menerapkan pola faktorial pola Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk hijau paitan yang sejumlah atas 5 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha, 15 ton/ha, dan 20 ton/ha. Faktor kedua adalah jarak tanam yang terdiri atas 60 cm × 20 cm, 75 cm × 20 cm, dan 90 cm × 20 cm. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji F dan diteruskan dalam Duncan New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) pada tingkat 5%. Riset menunjukkan dimana perlakuan dalam pemberian pupuk hijau paitan dan jarak tanam memiliki dampak nyata pada jumlah daun dan lebar daun tanaman jagung, oleh karena itu tidak berdampak nyata pada tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, dan panjang tongkol. Pemberian pupuk hijau paitan dosis 20 ton/ha menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung terbaik. Jarak tanam 75 cm × 20 cm menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman terbaik dibandingkan perlakuan lainnya. Kombinasi pemberian pupuk hijau paitan 20 ton/ha dengan jarak tanam 75 cm × 20 cm mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung pada tanah Ultisol.
