Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the progress of developing the Palm Oil Industrial Estate, sumatera corridor (MP3EI). This study conducted because Industrial Park has been developed almost 10 years laready but the progress is still slow. This study analyzed the characteristics of each variables of its resources on an Industrial Park. Dumai Industrial Park is chosen as a sample. Resources Based view theory is apllied to searching the weaknes and strength of the variables. There are 7 (seven) resources based : Human resources, financial resources, phisical and location resources, natural resources, technology resources, organisation resources, and inovation resources. Each variables is devided into indicators. Then, every indicators is formulated to get the index number. Having index numbers, the web approach is using to analyze the result. The findings are:1. Eventhought the raw material resources is very atractive variable in this industrial park,, but the organization resources has the lower index ( 0) .2. it means that the local government has reluctancy to develop the Tenayan Industrial Resources. Although the other resources have good index, but they are meaningless for Tenayan Industrial development. 3. it shows that Industrial Park at Kawasan Industri Dumai has a weakness to attract the tenant in to its location.

Abstract

Expert system applications were in great demand in various circles since 1950, with a coverage area that was large. Expert System on the organization was aimed at adding value, increasing productivity as well as the area of managerial can make decisions quickly and accurately. Neither with organizations that did business quail, which was very promising, but needed to be alert for the presence of disease in quail healthy, as in the case in birds quail were highly vulnerable to various kinds of diseases caused by viruses or bacteria. the benefits of the expert system that was able to diagnose quickly and accurately to the symptoms of the disease caused was expected to helped the farmers in of anticipation the many losses caused by disease. Required accuracy and the accuracy of the counting in diagnosing the symptoms of the disease in order to summarized the results by using forward chaining method.

Abstract

The government policy to convert the use of kerosene to LPG has created kerosene to become precious and rare good in the market. This condition has caused many difficulties among the micro-small moving merchants that depend on kerosene lamps for lighting their wagons at night. Thus, the solution must be carried out to ensure their business sustainability. This article reports our community services program to supply and install battery-powered LED lamps with battery chargers for moving culinary merchants in Indah Karya village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, to provide them with more efficient and effective lighting technology. Our analysis shows that the application of battery-powered LED lamps has significantly reduced merchants' operational costs and provided more accessibility to power the lamps. We have chosen one moving merchant that sells daily needs as our partner. The LED lamps, the power inverter, and the VRLA battery are installed and wired on our partner's wagon. We have evaluated the impact of this new lighting technology on our partner's business. Based on the evaluation, our partner has experienced a substantial operational cost reduction and easy access to power his wagon's lighting.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Pekanbaru City are an important part of the economy in Pekanbaru City. Development of the technology makes’ many people can buildtheir own business. Along with the number of businesses in Pekanbaru, many actors’ businesses are competing to promote and increase their businesses’ branding. One of the smartstrategies of MSME is to promote sales and increase profits through cooperation in events or exhibitions. This events can be a potential promotional field for the owners of Micro, Smalland Medium Enterprises or MSME. The system used to get information when the event will be performed by MSME in Pekanbaru is still using the traditional system by finding the events which organized by organizations or companies by MSME selves, mean while nowadays, thedevelopment of sophisticated technologies give many benefits. One of the benefits is to find every events information be easier. Abstract

One part of forensic anthropology involves investigating skeletal remains to identify corpses, and many of these remains were found incomplete, burned, broken, or destroyed, making investigation challenging. This study aims to use the pelvis and femur to identify the gender of skeletal remains. The pelvis and femur have previously been proven to be accurate indicators of a corpse's gender. The identification process is done through the measurement of the subpubic angle of the pelvis and the angle taken straight down from the top of the femur to the patella and then straight up. The two measurements were combined using the principal component analysis (PCA) method into two attributes on the x and y axes. These attributes were later used as data for the machine learning model design. The design process consisted of an Artificial Neutral Network (ANN) design model and Support Vector Machine (SVM) design model combined into a hybrid machine learning system. The ANN and SVM hybrid machine learning were tested with acquired data. The result of the test using the confusion matrix showed 83.33% accuracy, which is categorized as "good classification" based on Area Under the Curve (AUC).

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan konektivitas internet di Indonesia menciptakan perubahan signifikan dalam gaya hidup masyarakat. Dengan lebih dari 212,9 juta pengguna internet pada Januari 2023, terjadi peningkatan 5.2% dari tahun sebelumnya, menandai transisi besar ke aktivitas digital. Terutama di saat pandemi, kegiatan berbelanja di toko fisik berkurang, dan platform belanja online atau sering disebut e-commerce mulai diminati oleh masyarakat. Namun, peralihan ke lingkungan digital juga membawa risiko kejahatan siber yang meningkat. Salah satu ancamannya adalah pencurian data digital berupa email dan password pengguna e-commerce. Dengan menggunakan metode live forensic yang tahapannya mengacu pada kerangka kerja National Institute of Justice, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana metode live forensic pada RAM di komputer dapat digunakan untuk mendapatkan data yang terekam pada RAM (Random Access Memory), dengan menggunaan FTK Imager sebagai tools forensics. Langkah kerja pada metode live forensic ini mengacu pada 5 tahap langkah yaitu Identification, Collection, Examination, Analyses, dan Reporting. Dapat diketahui bahwa pada 2 simulasi yang dilakukan yang melibatkan 5 akun yang berbeda saat membuka website e-commerce menggunakan browser Google Chrome, dalam kedua simulasi tersebut, email pengguna dapat terdeteksi pada tools FTK Imager, tetapi password yang digunakan untuk mengakses tidak dapat terdeteksi pada alat tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa web e-commerce yang digunakan pada penelitian ini aman untuk di akses oleh pengguna.

Abstract

Kehidupan modern seringkali menghadirkan tantangan keamanan, baik di perkampungan maupun lingkungan yang ramai dan padat penduduk. Dikutip dari Databoks Data Publish, Polisi melaporkan ada 137.419 kasus kejahatan selama periode Januari-April 2023. Jumlahnya meningkat 30,7% dibandingkan Januari-april tahun lalu berjumlah 105.133. Mayoritas kejahatan yang terjadi pada waktu malam hari pada pukul 18.00-21.59, sebanyak 15.703 kasus. Setara 11,42% dari total kasus kejahatan di Indonesia pada Januari-April 2023. Dengan meningkatnya jumlah kejahatan, perlunya solusi keamanan yang efektif dan canggih semakin mendesak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem keamanan pintu rumah yang memanfaatkan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32, Solenoid, buzzer, dan Relay. Sistem ini memungkinkan pengawasan dan pengendalian pintu rumah secara real-time dari jarak jauh melalui web dan notifikasi WhatsApp. Pengujian sistem dilakukan dalam dua tahapan, yaitu fungsi kontrol jarak jauh dan respons sistem terhadap perubahan status pintu yang dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali pengujian dengan 4 device dan jarak yang berbeda. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa prototype sistem ini berfungsi dengan baik, bahkan dalam kondisi jaringan yang berbeda dan jarak pantauan yang jauh. Dibuktikan dengan hasil uji coba sistem diperangkat berbeda dengan jarak pantauan 60cm; 3m; 2km; 21km dan 126km. Evaluasi menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan notifikasi, waktu respons, dan keandalan sistem kontrol. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pengembangan sistem keamanan pintu rumah berbasis IoT yang lebih efisien dan responsif. Dengan adanya solusi ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keamanan rumah secara efektif sekarang dan masa mendatang.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology which combines the real world and virtual world, where users can feel the interaction between the two worlds. Marker Augmented reality or known as marker-based tracking technique uses a marker as media to display this technology. The marker is used as an object that contains images with unique patterns to identify each different object. Because it has a unique pattern, not any objects can be used as a marker. In Vuforia SDK, image recognition is done using a grayscale technique to search for angular features of the pixel image. If the image was taken directly using the camera in the old times in the form of Black and White (BNW), it has bad quality and most likely cannot be used as a marker because it has a few features. In BNW images taken directly from the camera, the Vuforia SDK detects only a few features in the image. This journal explains how the technique of making a BNW image into a marker can be detected by Augmented Reality Technology.

Abstract

This paper presents the sliding gate opener system that android smartphones can remotely control using Bluetooth protocols. The gate opener is driven by a 12-pole single-phase induction motor of permanent-split-capacitor type (PSC motor) coupled with a worm gearbox and rack-pinion power transmission. The PSC motor installation is wired to rotate either forward or in the reverse direction by using a contactors arrangement controlled by the Arduino microcontroller module. Two limit switches are installed at the ends of the gate opener movement to inform the microcontroller to stop the motor automatically when the gate opener touches them. Moreover, the microcontroller module has been wired with Bluetooth transceiver HC-06 enabling it to communicate with other Bluetooth devices. The microcontroller module has been programmed so that the gate opener movement can be remotely governed from android smartphones and controlled at the site by operating a set of pushbutton switches mounted onto the control panel's door. The functional test has been conducted on the sliding gate opener system, and the result shows that the gate opener movement can successfully be controlled locally through operating pushbutton switches and remotely using an android smartphone with up to 8 meters.
