Abstract

This service aims to socialize the mathematical connection to the concept of Element (demand and supply for MSME products in North Pelawi Village, Babalan District, Langkat Regency. This service activity is carried out by a service team consisting of lecturers and students who aim to provide briefings in the form of socialization to the community of business actors and MSME owners where with this activity it is hoped that there will be awareness and motivation of business actors to relieve the importance of applying mathematical concepts in the context of the connection or tension between the amount of demand and supply. So to predict the amount of demand and the amount of supply at a certain price is not difficult. Because with the ability to predict and control the number of goods offered, the price will be able to be conditioned to be stable and still within reasonable limits. For this reason, the role of business actors has a great influence on the sustainability and development of the business carried out so that the goal of obtaining maximum profits for better MSME performance is obtained. This service was carried out in North Pelawi Village by previously recording business actors around North Pelawi Village with the aim that MSMEs that have been run so far can better apply an understanding of mathematical concepts that are connected to the demand and supply elements for products produced in a certain period or period of time.

Abstract

Effective teaching-learning activities are also supported by several aspects such as teaching methods, teaching strategies, learning models , and so on. In this study, we know the extent of the effectiveness of problem-solving learning compared to ordinary learning. Based on the research conducted, the results obtained that concluded the Problem-Solving learning mode proved effective in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Data analysis for this study used a t-test in this case obtained an average difference from the experimental class group given treatment using Problem-Solving learning and non-problem Solving class groups. The calculation results obtained a t count value (th) of 2.824 for the experimental class and 2.819 for the control class, with the table t value for db 68 sig 5% If consulted in the t table obtained 1.990 then based on the t-test criteria it can be concluded that the t value Count more than t table with GIS greater than SIG alpha by 5%, it can be concluded that count t > t table can be decided to test the hypothesis I that null hypothesis is rejected and alternative hypothethetics are accepted, in this case, there is a significant difference between students' mathematical problem-solving ability between the group of students taught using the Problem-Solving method and the group of students taught without using the Problem-Solving model.

Abstract

The learning that has been carried out so far in the school tends to apply classical learning techniques that do not pay attention to the stages in the variety of learning. For this reason, a good way is needed to learn a lesson, one of which is known as a learning technique. In this research activity, the theme of mathematics learning for school children is based on the KUMON method. This technique is considered one of the solutions that is expected to increase children's academic values and awareness in learning and train children to have independence and full responsibility in the learning process. Indirectly, when repeating the material done by the child, the child will get a reinforcement value that is more than the material conveyed Repetition is intended to provide added value in learning a new material and is implicit in the hierarchical structure of the material that has been learned so that it will be self-absorbed when the child is faced with a problem that establishes a relationship to relates the past material to the future material. the regression analysis test using simple linear regression analysis with the general form of the equation formed is as follows: Y = 0.099X + 36.823. Where the learning variable affects the bound variable of learning outcomes of 0.099 and the value of the constant when no one variable influences, it will produce a learning outcome value of 36, 823. hypothesis test proved to be accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected from the results of the calculation of the value of t obtained was t calculated 6.796 greater than t tabel = 0.697 and sig = 0.763 > sig 0.05, it can be proven that the learning variable has a positive and significant effect on the learning outcome variable.

Abstract

The Problem-Solving Learning Model is one of the learning models that can develop problem-solving skills and student learning independence where this model is developed based on polya theory known as problem-solving steps, namely: identifying problem information/understanding problems, planning problem-solving strategies, using problem-solving strategies and re-examining solutions or solutions to problems that have been generated. The Use of the Problem-Solving Learning Model to Improve the Problem-Solving Ability of Pancabudi Private Vocational School Students for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of learning using the Problem-Solving learning model. This research is located at SMK Swasta Pancabudi where the class applies the Problem Solving learning model which will be compared with different classes using the classical learning model.

Abstract

This study analyzes related to the application of mathematical concepts to the demand and supply function of MSME products in North Pelawi Village, Babalan District, Langkat Regency. The results show that there is an elasticity associated with mathematical concepts for the demand function and the supply function. Usually, because MSME products are hampered by supply chain disruptions and production. However, through recovery strategies and interventions to apply mathematical concepts in the demand and supply functions, a balance curve between the demand and supply functions is formed. Awareness to apply mathematical concepts for business actors has an important role in controlling the rate of supply of goods so that the number of goods demand can be fulfilled according to the number of desires and the prices offered can be adjusted to the prices requested by consumers. This research highlights the importance of awareness and understanding the role of business actors who are aware of the application of mathematical concepts so that regulating demand and supply can run systematically and not damage the market price offered to consumers.
