Abstract

This study aims to explore: (1) the role of cooperatives in increasing the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools, (2) obstacles and challenges faced in increasing economic independence, and (3) strategies in increasing economic independence. A qualitative approach with a case study research type was applied to the At-Ta'awun cooperative at the DDI Mangkoso Islamic Boarding School, Barru Regency. Data collection through interviews and observations, data analysis using data condensation patterns, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of findings using triangulation techniques and source triangulation. The results showed that (1) the cooperative has a vital role in increasing the economic independence of the Islamic Boarding School by contributing to the welfare of santri, teachers, and the surrounding community, (2) several obstacles and challenges that need to be overcome, such as difficulties in harmonizing cooperative rules, limited resources, and lack of management and technology expertise, and (3) innovative and proactive strategies, such as cooperation with other Islamic Boarding School and employee development, the cooperative continues to strive to strengthen the economic independence of the Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia masih sangat rendah. Hal tersebut dibuktikan oleh fakta hasil nilai uji kompetensi guru dengan nilai rerata 53,02 nilai profesional dengan rata-rata 54,77 dan nilai kompetensi pedagogik dengan rata-rata 48,94. sedangkan pemerintah menargetkan dengan nilai rata-rata 55. Dengan begitu, kinerja guru yang ada di Indonesia masih belum maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendekatan supervisi pendidikan berbasis kolaborasi dan bagaimana hal ini dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi literatur, kepustakaan, jurnal, publikasi penelitian, dan artikel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi supervisi berbasis kolaborasi adalah diawali dengan kepala sekolah mendengarkan guru mengemukakan keluhan yang dihadapinya dalam pembelajaran. Kemudian kepala sekolah dan guru bersama-sama menetapkan solusi dari permasalahan tersebut. Supervisi kolaborasi dalam pendidikan memiliki manfaat antara lain: meningkatkan keterampilan mengajar, meningkatkan motivasi guru, dan dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri. Supervisi kolaborasi berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Selain itu, supervisi kolaborasi juga berdampak pada perubahan iklim sekolah yang positif karena kepala sekolah dan guru bekerjasama dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Purpose - Technology development is getting faster, especially in the scope of education. The existence of increasingly advanced technology is a challenge to digital literacy competence in students, especially in writing scientific papers. This study aims to reveal the importance of mastering digital literacy in supporting the process of writing scientific papers for students. Method - The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method. The primary data in this study are the results of observations and interviews on the scientific writing habits of postgraduate students at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang in utilizing digital media. Findings - The result of this study is that the existence of digital literacy is very supportive of student scientific writing. The impact felt by students related to the competence of digital literacy in writing scientific papers is that 1) writing scientific papers becomes better and more effective because they can easily get references through digital journal portals; 2) learning anywhere becomes practical because there is no need to carry many books to move places; 3) improving the ability to find information; 4) improving analytical skills; and 5) improving critical thinking skills.Research Implications - The limitation of this research is that it has not fully revealed the supporting and inhibiting factors of digital literacy in the process of writing student scientific papers.
