Abstract

The purposes of research are to describe: (1) the ability of summation computation of a student with hearing impairment for 1st grade at baseline conditions (A1) and baseline conditions (A2), (2) the ability of summation computation of student with hearing impairment at intervention condition (B), and (3) the effect of flannel pocket media utilization toward the ability of summation computation for a student with hearing impairment in the 1st grade. The result was showed in the assessment of ability of summation computation for a student with hearing impairment in the baseline condition (A1) that was about 65% to the 75% and it had improvement to the intervention condition (B) to be 85% to 100%. as well as on baseline (A2) as control phase that the value was about 95% to the 100%.Tujuan penelitian : (1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu kelas 1 pada kondisi baseline (A1) dan baseline (A2); (2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu kelas 1 pada kondisi intervensi (B); (3) mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan media kantong flanel terhadap kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu kelas 1. Hasil penelitian ini ditunjukkan pada penilaian kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa tunarungu pada kondisi baseline (A1) berkisar 65% hingga 75% dan mengalami peningkatan pada kondisi intervensi (B) menjadi 85% hingga 100% serta pada kondisi baseline (A2) sebagai fase kontrol yang nilainya berkisar 95% hingga 100%.

Abstract

SOSIALIZATION AND MENTORSHIP IN THE ASPECTS OF CULINARY AND NON-CULINARY FOR COMMUNITY ON TANJUNGSEKAR, INDONESIANThis community service aims to provide knowledge about business permits and online marketing to culinary and non-culinary business actors. The service method involves communicating with the community and sub-district heads in Tunjungsekar Village. This approach is integrated as a learning and practice method, which includes online marketing theory and business license theory, as well as direct practice of online marketing via social media and business license registration via OSS Online. The results of this service include increasing the knowledge and experience of business actors, socializing online marketing, and registering business permits in 2022. The results of this service are expected to increase income for culinary and non-culinary business actors (laundry services).Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan pengetahuan tentang ijin usaha dan pemasaran online kepada pelaku usaha kuliner dan non-kuliner. Metode pengabdian melibatkan pendekatan komunikasi kepada masyarakat dan kepala kelurahan di Kelurahan Tunjungsekar. Pendekatan ini diintegrasikan sebagai metode pembelajaran dan praktek, yang mencakup teori pemasaran online dan teori ijin usaha, serta praktek langsung pemasaran online melalui media sosial dan pendaftaran ijin usaha melalui OSS Online. Hasil dari pengabdian ini meliputi peningkatan pengetahuan dan pengalaman pelaku usaha, sosialisasi pemasaran online, pendaftaran ijin usaha Tahun 2022. Hasil pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan bagi pelaku usaha kuliner dan non-kuliner (jasa laundry).

Abstract

Kurangnya pemahaman guru terkait dengan karaktersitik peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus yang heterogen sehingga menyebabkan guru mengalami kesulitan untuk menangani sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis terkait pemahaman guru dalam menangani peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil pengamatan di sekolah, terdapat 2 guru yang menangani peserta didik yang berjumlah 10 peserta didik dengan kebutuhan khusus yang heterogen. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan antara lain: (1) peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus memiliki karakteristik lamban berbicara, hambatan penglihatan, keterbatasan dalam bergerak, keterbelakangan mental, serta gangguan perilaku (ADHD dan Autis); (2) kurangnya pemahaman guru dalam menangani peserta didik yang berkebutuhan khusus dikarenakan kualifikasi guru yang tidak sesuai dengan bidang pendidikan khusus maupun psikologi; (3) perkembangan peserta didik yang ada di sekolah tersebut cenderung lambat dikarenakan kurang adanya guru yang mendampingi dan menangani setiap peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di dalam kelas. Tingkat pemahaman guru yang terbatas terkait ABK pada akhirnya akan berpengaruh terhadap penanganan dan layanan peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah tersebut.

Abstract

The school environment is often the target and spotlight of bullying behavior. The role of education in overcoming bullying behavior is associated with the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers at school. Guidance and counseling teachers can provide counseling services individually or in groups, with the aim of understanding the conditions and situations that are happening to students at school. This can make it easier to overcome, prevent and provide solutions to every problem that occurs to students. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. This research is descriptive research with the aim of describing the forms of bullying behavior that occur at SMPN XY Malang City, as well as the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers in dealing with this problem. The subjects in this research were 8th grade students at SMPN XY Malang City. The results of this research show that the type of bullying behavior that often occurs is verbal harm which can ultimately cause mental harm. The guidance and counseling teacher at SMPN XY Malang created a social media account according to developments in the millennial generation. The results of the videos and posters presented by the BK teacher are aimed at providing education to students regarding the services provided.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of a time management training program on students, especially members of the Student Family Association (IKM) of STIKES Panti Waluya Malang. Using a quasi-experimental method with pre-test and post-test, this study collected data through focus-group-discussion and documentation. The training program designed based on the Training Need Assessment (TNA) results included lectures, discussions, case studies, roleplay, and ice-breaking. The results showed that the training was effective in improving participants' time management skills, with an increase in post-test scores between 10-35%, although there were barriers to participation due to busy schedules. The training helped students manage time between academic and organizational activities, which contributed to improved academic performance.

Abstract

Children born with physical or mental limitations certainly make parents sad and sometimes not ready to accept them for various reasons. The presence of children with special needs has the potential to be a source of stress or stressors, which is influenced by parental acceptance. This method is designed to achieve the stated goals by combining theoretical insights with practical applications. This webinar has a significant impact on webinar participants, especially parents who have children with special needs with the aim of equipping parents with knowledge and understanding so that they are expected to accept the presence of their children who have mental or physical limitations. The stages of parental acceptance of children with special needs in this study include (1) the rejection phase, starting from a feeling of disbelief that the doctor has given a verdict that the child is a child with special needs; (2) the anger phase, usually occurs when parents realize that the child's condition is undeniable; (3) the bargaining phase, where parents try to bargain for the condition that occurs in the child; (4) the depression phase, experiencing problems in daily life due to pressure after pressure that cannot be denied; (5) the acceptance phase, where parents wholeheartedly accept that they have a child with special needs.

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to improve the community's ability to manage reading parks and create a culture of literacy in the community, especially early childhood. The implementation of this revitalization program involved a service team consisting of 20 students in collaboration with Karang Taruna in RT 04/RW 02, Bandulan Village, which had 25 members. Implementation of community service activities is carried out in four stages, including: (1) Location survey stage, the service team has received a recommendation from the sub-district regarding the existence of a reading post which has been neglected for a long time, approximately 3 years; (2) In the planning stage, the service team prepares plans starting from cleaning the reading post, followed by replacing the tiered iron shelves for bookshelves, painting the reading post, making wall shelves for folding tables, sorting and adding to the book collection at the reading post, adding inventory in the form of stationery, blackboards, wall clocks, fans, folding tables, trash cans and doormats; (3) In the implementation phase there are several activities, including: a) Cleaning the reading post; b) Painting reading posts; c) Installation of bookshelves and arrangement of inventory and book collections; d) Manufacture and installation of wall shelves; e) Carpet installation; f) Implementation of tutoring; g) Socialization of reading post management. The enthusiasm of the community and Karang Taruna who attended the socialization that had been carried out, so that the reading post could function again after a 3 year hiatus.

Abstract

Larva lalat Black Soldier Fly (BSF) atau maggot sebagai teknologi biokonversi dalam pengelolaan sampah organik. Maggot memiliki kemampuan efektif untuk mengurai sampah organik domestik dengan cepat, mengubahnya menjadi biomassa larva kaya protein yang dapat digunakan sebagai pakan ternak berkualitas tinggi serta residu berupa kasgot yang bermanfaat sebagai pupuk kompos. Proses budidaya maggot menggunakan limbah organik sebagai media pakan memungkinkan pengurangan volume sampah secara signifikan sekaligus menghasilkan produk bernilai ekonomi. Teknologi ini menawarkan solusi pengelolaan sampah yang ramah lingkungan, hemat biaya, dan berkelanjutan dengan potensi pengembangan skala komunitas maupun industri. Dengan demikian, penggunaan maggot dalam penguraian sampah organik dapat mendukung pengelolaan sumber daya alam yang efisien, meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan memberi kontribusi pada pembangunan ekonomi sirkular yang berkelanjutan
