Abstract

The utilization of a 3 phase induction motor is increasingly developing, so research on speed regulation in 3 phase induction motors is also increasingly widely studied. This is because the use of 3 phase induction motors in the industry and especially hybrid vehicles are increasingly being developed. But there are some disadvantages of induction motors, one of which is the characteristics of non-linear parameters, especially rotor resistance which has varying values for different operating conditions, so it cannot maintain its speed constantly if there is a change in load. This, of course, can affect the performance of an induction motor. To get a constant speed and better system performance on load changes a controller is needed. This study aims to model direct-quadrate parameters (D-Q) using the Field Oriented Control (FOC) method based on the Proportional-Integral (PI) controller. With the d-q parameter controlled, the induction motor will be more stable, because the d-q parameter determines the stability of the change in torque and flux in the induction motor. Proportional-Integral (PI) control used is a classic control system that is easy because it does not need to look for a mathematical model of the system, but it remains effective because it has a fairly stable system response, by setting the best combination of proportional (Kp) constants and Integrator constants ( Ki). In the results of the implementation, it can be seen that the use of FOC can be used as an approach in terms of setting the speed of the induction motor, and with the use of the PI control can help the output response get better with a shorter response time to reach the reference value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat dua mobile robot yang mampu bekerjasama mengangkut objek serta membuat sistem kontrol kedua robot agar dapat berjalan dengan benar dan bekerjasama dengan baik melakukan proses pengangkutan objek. Tahap perancangan pada penelitian ini dimulai dengan pemilihan komponen mekanik dan elektronika, serta pembuatan program pada mikrokontroller minimum system ATMega16 dan Arduino Uno, menganalisa kinematika gerak mobile robot dan pengujian dengan membuat area kerja berupa lintasan line follower dan menghitung errornya. Dari proses perancangan, diperoleh dimensi mobile robot dengan ukuran 235mm x 187mm x 165mm. Dimensi rangka penyangga 86mm x 60mm x 154mm.Perhitungan kinematika mobile robot, diperoleh kecepatan sudut ω(t) = 0,31 rad/s, kecepatan linear 0,17m/s dan posisi robot pada 0,315(t)+θ0. Beban maksimum yang bisa diangkat oleh mobile robot adalah 34 newton.

Abstract

The Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) prototype at the Morowali Metal Industry Polytechnic has the main component in the form of a transformer that generates heat actively. The increase in temperature that occurs in the transformer is caused by continuous loading. In addition, a significant and relatively high temperature rise in the transformer, can reduce the performance of the transformer. This research will design a transformer cooling system on the EAF prototype. The temperature of the transformer will be maintained at a certain temperature until there is no longer an increase in temperature due to loading. The wire-tube cooling system in the transformer uses water and transformer oil as the cooling medium. Regulating the flow rate of the water fluid in the copper pipe is expected to be able to further optimize the cooling process in the transformer. The results show that the design of the wire-tube cooling system is able to release the temperature of the transformer oil with a heat transfer rate that varies according to the flow rate of the cooling water fluid. Experiments carried out for 30 minutes resulted in a heat transfer rate of Qu 760.5 kJ/s with a water flow rate of 2.5 liters/minute, Qu 1661.2 kJ/s with a water flow rate of 5 liters/minute, Qu 2558.5 kJ/kg with a water flow rate of 5 liters/minute. the water flow rate is 7.5 liters/minute and Qu 3213.9 kJ/kg with a water flow rate of 9.20 liters/minute, this shows that the higher the water flow rate, the higher the heat transfer.

Abstract

Mekarti Jaya Village is located in the PT Industrial Area. IMIP, the need for industrial workers in the PT area IMIP continues to increase as the investment value in the area increases. To prepare the people and youth of Mekarti Jaya village to be able to take advantage of job opportunities in industries located in the PT area. IMIP needs to carry out training to increase competency, especially in the field of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) welding position 2F. The selection of SMAW welding training materials was based on survey results, in which the need for welding specialist workers was the greatest need for industries in the PT area. IMIP. Training activities are carried out for approximately 1 month, starting with the preparation, implementation, and training results stages. The activities were carried out on February 27–29, 2022. Training activities were carried out at the Morowali Metal Industry Polytechnic Machinery Maintenance Engineering study workshop. The training was attended by ± 16 young people and residents of the village of Mekarti Jaya. The results of the training carried out were an increase in understanding and knowledge before and after the training activities were carried out; this was shown by the results of the constant shape of the ridges, welding position 2F, and the results of the post-test.

Abstract

Peminjaman peralatan praktikum harus dicatat. Kesulitan proses manual diantaranya butuh waktu dalam pencarian data, sulitnya pengecekan ketersedian peralatan, rawannya arsip hilang, dan human error. Diperlukan pengelolaan peralatan dengan baik dan benar dengan membuat aplikasi peminjaman dan penanganan peralatan menggunakan Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV). Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi peminjaman dan rancang bangun AGV. Aplikasi peminjaman alat menggunakan program html dengan akses database mySQL dengan server lokal menggunakan xampp. AGV yang dibangun mampu menahan beban maksimal 20kg. Sistem kontrol menggunakan Arduino Mega sebagai pengendali utama dan NodeMCU8266 untuk berkomunikasi secara Wifi ke stasiun. Dari hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa aplikasi peminjaman alat efektif digunakan, baik pada proses peminjaman maupun pada proses pengembalian peralatan. AGV dapat melakukan pengantaran peralatan dengan kecepatan 0,6 – 1,8 m/s dan berhenti ketika terdapat penghalang di depannya.
