Abstract

The implementation of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard) is a digital solution that supports the growth of UMKM in Indonesia. The research method was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach. Research data comes from search results from various trusted sources, including official websites, theses and national scientific journals that are relevant to the research topic. QRIS makes it easy for UMKM to conduct non-cash transactions, addressing customer convenience and security. This study is to analyze the benefits and impacts of QRIS on UMKM turnover and operations. The results of the discussion also show that QRIS is able to increase operational efficiency through an easy-to-use online payment system that records transactions automatically, which helps UMKM in financial management. In addition, QRIS also increases security by reducing the risk of losing cash and using counterfeit money. However, there are obstacles in implementing QRIS, such as admin fees and the duration of disbursement of funds which are considered burdensome for UMKM.

Abstract

This study examines the utilization of social media in improving the competitiveness of cassava chips and lidah manis SMEs in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. The rapid development of information technology has encouraged SMEs to shift from conventional marketing methods to more effective and efficient digital marketing practices. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving SME actors. The results indicate that the use of social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram is able to expand market reach, increase product visibility, and strengthen relationships between business owners and consumers. Attractive promotional content, consistency in posting, and responsive communication are proven to influence consumer buying interest and trust. However, SMEs still face challenges, including limited digital literacy, time management constraints, and the lack of structured marketing strategies. Therefore, continuous training and assistance are needed so that SMEs can optimize the use of social media more effectively. This study is expected to serve as a reference for the development of digital-based SMEs in rural areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dimensions of ethics in business practices and their role as a fundamental pillar of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). The background of this research is based on the increasing complexity of modern business practices, which often give rise to moral dilemmas and ethical violations due to weak ethical implementation. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, with data sources consisting of textbooks, national and international journal articles, and relevant scholarly documents related to business ethics and GCG. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis to examine concepts, principles, and the relationship between ethical dimensions and the implementation of good corporate governance. The findings indicate that business ethics plays a crucial role in shaping individual, professional, and corporate behavior and serves as a moral foundation for implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance, including transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness. This study concludes that the successful implementation of GCG depends not only on formal regulations and systems but also on the internalization of ethical values as a sustainable organizational culture to promote integrity and long-term business sustainability.
