Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya partisipasi belajar pada siswa kelas X-3 Madrasah Aliyah Muhammadiyah 1 Medan, hal tersebut disebabkan oleh pembelajaran hanya berpusat pada penjelasan guru dan buku ajar walaupun sesekali menggunakan media, tidak adanya eksplorasi pengetahuan siswa membuat mereka cenderung menjadi pasif dan tidak tertarik untuk bertanya, mengemukakan pendapat dan menjawab pertanyaan, kurangnya kegiatan diskusi juga berdampak pada partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menyajikan suatu hal sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat dicapai dengan efektif dan efisien sesuai dengan harapan. Untuk hal ini, dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dapat menerapkan metode hiwār sebagai pendekatan inovatif untuk mendorong partisipasi siswa dengan mengajukan pertanyaan, pendapat dan menjawab pertanyaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode hiwār di kelas X-3 adalah siswa merasa senang dan tidak bosan, mereka aktif berpartisipasi saat ditunjuk untuk mempraktekkan metode hiwār yang membuat suasana kelas menjadi hidup dan pelajaran lebih mudah diterima oleh siswa. Dengan metode hiwār ini siswa akan terbiasa berbicara di depan umum dan meningkatkan kepercayaan diri setiap siswa.

Abstract

Traditional boarding schools are learning institutions that use classical books such as the yellow book to serve as learning guidelines. Meanwhile, modern boarding schools are boarding schools that are more dominant to general learning, but these two boarding schools still study calligraphy. Calligraphy is a science that studies the beauty of the art of writing in Islam. The purpose of this research is to find a comparison of calligraphy learning methods in traditional boarding schools and modern boarding schools. This research method uses observation techniques, interviews, and literature sources, where researchers record all information during the research. The results of this study indicate that calligraphy learning is still a subject of interest to students in both traditional and modern boarding schools. However, traditional and modern pesantren do not really focus on calligraphy learning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of al-muqabalah (contradictions of meaning) in Surah Ar-Rahman. Al-muqabalah is a form of the beauty of the language of the Koran which is included in the study of the science of balaghah. The method used is a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The research's primary data is the verses of Surah Ar-Rahman which contain muqabalah elements, while the secondary data comes from balaghah books and related literature. Data collection techniques use documentation and literature study methods. The findings of the research indicate that Surah Ar-Rahman contains various forms of muqabalah, such as the muqabalah between verses of nature, the muqabalah contrasting worldly and afterlife blessings, as well as the muqabalah between paradise and hell. The application of muqabalah in this surah aims to enhance the meaning, clarify the purpose of the verses, and highlight significant messages within the surah. This study is anticipated to offer a deeper insight into the rhetorical style of the Qur'an, especially regarding the use of muqabalah in Surah Ar-Rahman. translit ke bahasa indonesia
