Abstract

The transformation and development of digital finance have become an important issue in today's business world. Private companies in Batam City are also experiencing the impact of this transformation. This study aims to analyze employee perceptions and competencies in dealing with the transformation and development of digital finance in private companies in Batam City. This research focuses on understanding how employees perceive digital financial transformation and to what extent they have the necessary competencies to adapt to these changes. This study interviews and observes Batam City private company employees for qualitative data analysis. The systematic analysis was analyzed the data. This study found that most employees see digital finance transition positively. Digital finance may improve efficiency, engagement, and financial information accessibility. This research also finds different employee challenges in digital finance transformation. One is a need for digital technology and financial competence. Employees need help to adapt and maximize digital finance's potential. Thus, employee proficiency in digital financial transformation requires training and skills development. This study offers light on Batam City private company employees' views of digital finance's evolution. Positive impressions suggest digital finance can boost employee productivity and participation in firm financial tasks. However, training and skills development must overcome competency issues. Thus, organizations must focus on personnel development throughout digital financial transformation to ensure business success and continuity.

Abstract

UMKM di wilayah pesisir memiliki potensi produk unggulan namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan usaha secara konvensional. Digitalisasi pengelolaan keuangan, seperti penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi, menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Melalui pencatatan keuangan yang sistematis, pengelolaan modal dan hutang yang efisien, serta akses pasar yang lebih luas melalui teknologi, UMKM pesisir dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan pelatihan dan pendampigan penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi, dari proses pengunduhan, pengisian data, hingga penyusunan laporan keuangan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan literasi keuangan dan adopsi digital di kalangan pelaku UMKM pesisir. Digitalisasi keuangan menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan akses pendanaan dan memperkuat ketahanan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

Education, training and competence of employees are needed to deal with changes that occur such as changes in technology, changes in work methods in village development. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of education, training and competency on performance through work motivation in Village Officials throughout Bintan Regency, totaling 324 Village Officials. The population in this study amounted to 179 Village Officials in Bintan Regency. In this study, the sampling technique used was nonprobability sampling with the technique taken, namely saturated sampling (census). The research method uses an associative method with a quantitative approach to the analysis of Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis techniques with the SmartPLS program. The results of the research variable on education have a positive and significant effect on work motivation and performance. Training has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Training has no significant effect on performance. Competence has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, while competence has no significant effect on performance and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance. The indirect test of work motivation is an intervening variable between education, training and competency on performance. while competence has no significant effect on performance and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance.
