Abstract

Background: Disaster preparedness is something that all people in Indonesia should have. Because various kinds of disasters are threats that can claim lives, property, and public facilities. Purpose: This systematical review was created to be able to provide information regarding community preparedness and the methods used to improve it. Method: Systematical Review. Search data sources use Google Scholar and PubMed, articles on topics published in Indonesian and English from 2018-2023. Results: The results of the literature review obtained 10 articles that match the inclusion criteria which provide the results of various methods provided to increase disaster preparedness including disaster counseling, leaflets/booklets, simulations, etc. Conclusion: various methods can be given as an effort to increase community preparedness. Recommendation: Providing education must continue to be carried out to train community preparedness for earthquake and tsunami disasters.

Abstract

This research is entitled “Coconut Farmers: An Antropological Study  of Coconut Management in Laeya Village, North Buton. Wakorumba District, North Buton. The aim of this research is to find out how coconuts are managed in Laeya Village and what the coconut buying and selling system is in Laeya Village. This research uses Carol Steack’s theory regarding social organizations. The data collection techniques in this research were abservation and in-depth interviews. Furthermore, the data obtained was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The result of this research showed that several coconut farmers in Laeya Villagege processed their own coconut farmers in Laeya Village processed their own coconuts into copra and the remaining shell will be processed into charcoal buyers. Apart from that, there are also some coconut farmers who do not process their coconuts unless they choose to sell the fruit to coconut buyers themselves in Laeya Village who implement the system. The sale and purchase of coconuts is carried out by several female farmers and also male farmers. Coconut farmers in Laeya Village first take a deposit to meet their family’s needs and the give their coconuts at harvest time to the buyer they owe money to. Those who process their coconuts into copra will sell to copra buyers and then farmers who sell the fruit will sell the coconut fruit to buyers who want to make copra.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat self-efficacy antara siswa yang aktif dan tidak aktif dalam Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) di SMK Abdi Karya Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain komparatif. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 32 siswa, terdiri dari 21 siswa aktif OSIS dan 11 siswa tidak aktif OSIS. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket self-efficacy yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, serta wawancara untuk memperkuat data. Hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan dengan nilai signifikasi 0,032 (<0,05). Rata-rata skor self-efficacy siswa aktif OSIS adalah 111,95, lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa tidak aktif OSIS yaitu 96,55. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keterlibatan siswa dalam OSIS berkontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan self-efficacy, terutama dalam hal kepercayaan diri, tanggung jawab, dan kemampun menghadapi tantangan.
