Abstract

This article discusses the importance of Knowledge and Natural Science in elementary schools as a foundation for developing students' character and skills. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method to explore teachers' experiences in teaching science, the challenges faced, and the strategies implemented to improve students' understanding. The results of the study indicate that an approach involving real-world experiences and technology can strengthen the understanding of scientific concepts. In addition, this article provides recommendations for teacher professional development to improve the quality of science education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul "Persepsi Pendidik Terhadap ABK Jenis ADHD dalam Proses Pembelajaran di SDN Cijantung" bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana pendidik memandang dan menangani peserta didik dengan Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara dengan pendidik di salah satu sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik tidak menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan adanya peserta didik ADHD. Mereka melaporkan bahwa peserta didik tersebut dapat mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik, asalkan diberikan perhatian dan pendekatan yang sesuai. Penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa meskipun ada tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi oleh peserta didik ADHD, dengan pendekatan yang tepat dari pendidik, proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung efektif dan inklusif. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan strategi pendidikan yang lebih baik untuk anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The main reason underlying this research is that many students feel that mathematics is a difficult subject, which leads to low learning outcomes in this subject. This research aims to explore the influence of the spinning top learning method on the addition of whole numbers in class III students in elementary schools. Using a quantitative experimental research design, data was obtained through pre-test and post-test to evaluate student skills. The results of the analysis show that the application of the top method significantly improves student learning outcomes, with the average post-test score being higher than the average pre-test score. From this research, it can be concluded that: (1) The mathematics learning method used has proven to be very effective. (2) The test results show an increase in students' mathematical abilities. (3) The spinning top method has a positive impact in improving mathematics learning skills, especially for class III students. This research also shows that this method has proven effective in increasing motivation. and students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
