Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by teachers in teaching Islamic Education (PAI) at SMPN 8 Bukittinggi, focusing on high workload and the utilization of technology. The background issue includes the dense teaching hours and limitations in technology implementation that should ideally reduce the workload. The novelty of this research lies in developing a theory on the integration of technology within the Merdeka Curriculum for PAI as a strategy to address teacher workload issues. The methodology used includes a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Key findings reveal that suboptimal technology use and inadequate training are major obstacles. This study proposes a new theory on Technology Integration in the PAI Curriculum as a strategy for reducing teacher workload, emphasizing the need for relevant training and managerial support. The findings offer insights into how technology can be effectively integrated to enhance teaching quality and reduce teacher workload, and suggest policies to support the application of technology in education. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam pengajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMPN 8 Bukittinggi, dengan fokus pada beban kerja tinggi dan pemanfaatan teknologi. Latar belakang masalah mencakup padatnya jam mengajar dan keterbatasan dalam penerapan teknologi yang seharusnya dapat mengurangi beban kerja. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada pengembangan teori mengenai integrasi teknologi dalam Kurikulum Merdeka PAI sebagai strategi untuk mengatasi masalah beban kerja guru. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi pendekatan kualitatif dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil utama menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi yang belum optimal dan pelatihan yang tidak memadai merupakan hambatan utama dalam proses ini. Penelitian ini mengusulkan teori baru tentang Integrasi Teknologi dalam Kurikulum PAI sebagai strategi pengurangan beban kerja guru, menekankan perlunya pelatihan relevan dan dukungan manajerial. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana teknologi dapat diintegrasikan secara efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan mengurangi beban kerja guru, serta menyarankan kebijakan untuk mendukung penerapan teknologi dalam pendidikan.

Abstract

Education aims to improve the quality and quantity of students. The selection of the right learning model in the learning process greatly affects the high and low learning outcomes of students. The learning model is an approach that can be taken by educators so that the teaching and learning process runs effectively so that educational goals are achieved. The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects because the learning model used is still not varied and conventional. To overcome these problems, researchers applied the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with the aim of improving Islamic Education learning outcomes in class V UPTD SDN 01 Sarilamk students. This research uses the type of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were class V UPTD SDN 01 Sarilamak students totaling 16 students consisting of 7 male students and 9 female students. Classroom action research was carried out in four cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. In this study there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection was carried out using observation and written tests. Based on the results of the study showed that, the average learning outcomes of students have increased. It is known that the KKTP value that has been determined from the school is 70. In pre-research, it is known that 6 students have reached KKTP with a percentage of 37.5% and 10 students have not reached KKTP with a percentage of 62.5%. In cycle I, it increased as many as 9 students had reached KKTP with a percentage of 56.25% and 7 students had not reached KKTP with a percentage of 43.75%. In cycle II, there was an increase of 11 students who had reached KKTP with a percentage of 68.75% and 5 students had not reached KKTP with a percentage of 31.25%. In cycle III, there was an increase as many as 12 students had reached KKTP with a percentage of 75% and 4 students had not reached KKTP with a percentage of 25%. Furthermore, in cycle IV there was also an increase as many as 16 students had reached KKTP with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to describe efforts to improve the learning outcomes of class V students of UPTD SDN 02 Sarilamak in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects through the use of video media. This research was conducted in two cycles. In each cycle, researchers designed and implemented learning using different video media. Research data were obtained through student learning outcomes tests and observations of student activities during learning. The results showed an increase in the average value of student learning outcomes in each cycle. In addition, observations showed an increase in student motivation and learning activities during the learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of video media is effective in improving student learning outcomes in PAI subjects.

To overcome these problems, researchers applied the method of giving assignments (Resitation) with the aim of improving Islamic Education learning outcomes in class IV UPTD SDN 01 Sitanang students. This research uses the type of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were class IV UPTD SDN 01 Sitanang students totaling 10 students consisting of 6 male students and 4 female students. Classroom action research was carried out in four cycles consisting of one meeting. In this study there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection, based on the results of the study showed that the average learning outcomes of students have increased. It is known that the KKTP value that has been determined from the school is 70. In the pre-research, it is known that 3 students have reached KKTP with a percentage of 30% and 7 students have not reached KKTP with a percentage of 70%. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Talang Maua. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Talang Maua through the Cooperative Learning method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used in the study is two cycles, namely the Cooperative Learning method. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation/action, observation/observation, and reflection. Each cycle consists of one meeting (3 lesson hours). The population used is 10 people. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests and interviews. The results of this study show an increase in student learning outcomes from pre-action, cycle I and cycle II. The learning outcomes of students at the pre-action stage were 42%, in cycle I (first) increased to 67%, in cycle II (second) also increased to 92%. Thus, a recommendation can be submitted that the application of the Cooperative Learning method can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education material for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.
