Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on the material of prayer and prostration in class VII.2 UPTD SMPN 1 Mungka District through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of students, where only 46% of students achieved learning completeness in the pre-cycle, with 15 students (54%) not completing. This is thought to be caused by the use of learning models that do not actively involve students in the learning process, so that students do not understand the material deeply. To overcome this problem, the PBL model is applied which focuses on student involvement in solving real problems and interactive learning. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK), which was conducted in four cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.2 UPTD SMPN 1 Mungka District, totaling 28 students. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. In cycle I, the number of students who were complete increased to 64% (18 students), while 10 students (36%) were not complete. The improvement continued in cycle II with 78% (22 students) complete and 6 students (22%) not complete. In cycle III, 89% (25 students) were complete and 3 students (11%) were not complete. Finally, in cycle IV, all students (100%) achieved mastery out of 28 students present. The results of this study showed that the application of the PBL model not only increased students' engagement, but also their understanding of PAI materials. Thus, the application of the PBL model proved effective in improving the quality of PAI learning in this school.

Abstract

Education aims to improve the quality and quantity of students. The selection of the right learning model in the learning process greatly affects the high and low learning outcomes of students. The learning model is an approach that can be taken by educators so that the teaching and learning process runs effectively so that educational goals are achieved. The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects because the learning model used is still not varied and conventional. To overcome these problems, researchers applied the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with the aim of improving Islamic Education learning outcomes in class V UPTD SDN 02 Tanjuang Bungo students. This research uses the type of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were class V UPTD SDN 02 Tanjuang Bungo students totaling 11 students consisting of 4 male students and 6 female students. Classroom action research was carried out in four cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. In this study there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection was carried out using observation and written tests. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the average learning outcomes of students have increased. It is known that the KKTP value that has been determined from the school is 70. In pre-research, it is known that 4 students have reached KKTP with a percentage of 36% and 7 students have not reached KKTP with a percentage of 64%. In cycle I, it has increased as many as 6 students have reached KKTP with a percentage of 55% and 5 students have not reached KKTP with a percentage of 45%. In cycle II, there was an increase of 7 students who had reached KKTP with a percentage of 64% and 4 students had not reached KKTP with a percentage of 36%. In cycle III, it has increased as many as 8 students have reached KKTP with a percentage of 73% and 3 students have not reached KKTP with a percentage of 27%. Furthermore, in cycle IV there was also an increase as many as 11 students had reached KKTP with a percentage of 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at UPTD SDN 05 Muaro Paiti through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The PBL model was chosen because it is considered capable of activating students in learning and solving problems actively. This research is class action research conducted in 4 cycles. In each cycle, there are stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments used in this study were learning outcome tests and student activity observation sheets. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the PBL model. In the initial data, the percentage of students who achieved KKTP was still low. However, in cycles I, II, III, and IV the percentage of students who achieved KKTP always increased significantly. This shows that the PBL model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in PAI subjects. In addition, observations of student activities showed a significant increase in each cycle. Students became more active, critical, and creative in solving the problems given. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model can be an effective alternative learning model to improve student learning outcomes in PAI subjects.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability to read the Al-Qur'an in class VII.2 students at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan Koto Baru District. This research aims to improve the Al-Quran reading ability of class VII.2 students at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan Koto Baru District through the Problem Based Learning method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The method used in the research is two cycles, namely the Problem Based Learning method. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation/action, observation/observation, and reflection. Each cycle consists of one meeting (3 lesson hours). The population used was 28 people. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests and interviews. The results of this research show an increase in students' ability to read the Al-Quran from pre-action, cycle I and cycle II. The learning outcomes of students who completed at the pre-action stage were 5 students or 30%, in cycle I (first) the value of students who completed increased by 11 people or 69%, in cycle II (second) it increased again with the number of students 15 people or 94% completed. Thus, a recommendation can be put forward that the application of the Problem Based Learning method in learning can improve student PAI learning outcomes in VII.2 at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Pangkalan Koto Baru District.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at kelas VII.1 UPTD SMPN 2 Kecamatan Kapur IX. The aim of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at kelas VII.1 UPTD SMPN 2 Kecamatan Kapur IX through the Cooperative Learning method. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The methods employed in the research consist of two cycles, specifically the Cooperative Learning method. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation/action, observation, and reflection. Each cycle includes one meeting (3 class hours). The population involved in the study is 12 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and interviews. The results of this study indicate an improvement in student learning outcomes from the pre-action phase to cycles I and II. The learning outcomes of students in the pre-action phase were 42%, in cycle I (first) increased to 67%, and in cycle II (second) further increased to 92%. Thus, it can be recommended that the implementation of the Cooperative Learning method can enhance student learning outcomes in the material of reading the Qur'an for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at UPTD SD N 05 Taram through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in four cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students consisting of 16 students. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and field notes. The results showed that the application of the PBL model can improve student learning outcomes in PAI material. In the pre-cycle, student learning completeness reached 31%, in the first cycle, there was an increase with learning completeness reaching 48%. In the second cycle, there was an increase with learning completeness reaching 62%, in the third cycle, there was an increase with learning completeness reaching 75% and in the fourth cycle, there was an increase again with learning completeness reaching 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education material at UPTD SD N 05 Taram.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes in class VII UPTD SMPN 3 Bukik Barisan District in the ability to read the Qur'an, this study aims to improve learning outcomes in class VII UPTD SMPN 3 Bukik Barisan District through the Problem Based Learning Model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) in 4 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. Each cycle consists of one meeting (3 lesson hours). The population in the study was 10 students. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests and interviews. The results of this study showed an increase in student learning outcomes from pre-action, in the initial study 3 students (30%) were complete out of 10 students, cycle I as many as 4 students (40%) were complete out of 10 students present, cycle II as many as 5 students (50%) were complete out of 10 students present, cycle III as many as 7 students (70%) were complete out of 10 students present, cycle IV as many as 10 students (100%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in the material of reading the Qur'an in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at UPTD SDN 02 Sungai Rimbang through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The background of this research is the low student learning outcomes that require a more innovative and effective learning approach. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a cycle model consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students with a total of 10 students. The results showed that the application of the PBL learning model can significantly improve student learning outcomes in PAI subjects. The improvement can be seen from the increase in students' average scores from cycle I to cycle II, as well as students' positive responses to more interactive and challenging learning. Based on these findings, the application of PBL is recommended as one of the effective learning models to improve student learning outcomes in PAI subjects.

Abstract

In the learning process, the selection of appropriate learning methods greatly affects the high and low learning outcomes of students. learning methods are ways that educators can make the teaching and learning process run effectively. The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education subjects. because the learning methods used are still not varied. To overcome these problems, researchers applied the Question-and-Answer method with the aim of improving Islamic Education learning outcomes in class IV students of SDN 03 Ampalu. This research uses the type of classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this study were class IV students of SDN 03 Ampalu totaling 15 students consisting of 7 male students and 8 female students. Classroom action research was carried out in four cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. In this study there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection was carried out using observation and written tests. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the average learning outcomes of students have increased. It is known that the KKM value that has been determined from the school is 70. In cycle I, it is known that 8 students have not completed the research with a percentage of 62% and 7 students who have completed it. In cycle II, there was an increase of 9 students who were complete with a percentage of 69% and 6 students who were not complete. Furthermore, in cycle III there was an increase of 11 students with a percentage of 77% and 4 students who were not complete with a percentage. Furthermore, in cycle IV it also increased as many as 14 students reached a complete score with a percentage of 82%, only 1 student who was not complete. Thus, the question and answer method can improve student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SDN 03 Ampalu.
