Abstract

Tanaman obat rumah tangga disebut juga obat hidup, TOGA merupakan tanaman atau tumbuhan yang tumbuh secara liar dan sudah mulai dikembangkan dan dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat, dimana tanaman tersebut mempunyai khasiat dan sangat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan tubuh manusia. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kapasitas pengurus posyandu dan masyarakat terhadap pemanfaatan TOGA. Pengabdian masyarakat ini melibatkan 15 ibu-ibu. Alat yang digunakan adalah lembar tes pre-test dan post-test. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan penyadaran ini adalah metode sosialisasi berupa presentasi dengan menggunakan metode power point dan tanya jawab dengan target audiens adalah tenaga kesehatan dan ibu rumah tangga desa Napa kecamatan Angkola Selatan kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini terlaksana dengan baik, terbukti dengan kehadiran 15 peserta serta respon dan antusias peserta dalam melakukan sosialisasi, bertanya dan aktif mendiskusikan cara penggunaan TOGA setelah dilakukan analisis. diterapkan, skor pre-test dan post-test keduanya meningkat sebesar 14,1%. Tujuan yang diharapkan tercapai dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang Toga dan kegunaannya. Kata kunci: TOGA, Pemanfaatan, Kelurahan Napa.

Abstract

Ethnomedicine as a method that can be used to explore the use of medicinal plants can be the first step to developing new medicines. The aim of this research is to find out the types of plants used by the people of Napa Village, South Angkola District, South Tapanuli Regency, how to use medicinal plants, and which parts of the plants are used for medicine. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. Data was obtained from 5 informants who met the inclusion criteria consisting of 1 traditional leader, 1 health cadre, 1 herbal medicine seller, 2 community leaders. The results of the research obtained data on 35 plants used by the people of Napa Village as medicine. The leaves are the most widely used part.
