Abstract

This introduction explains the important role of public relations as a bridge between organizations and the public, described as a professional profession with ethical responsibilities. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method to explore ethics in public relations from an Islamic perspective, which consists of six fundamental moral principles that public relations practitioners must uphold. Additionally, an investigation into social responsibility in public relations is discussed, referencing the historical and theoretical connections of public relations practices that have existed since the time of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Each phase in public relations management, from research to evaluation, demonstrates the importance of ethics and social responsibility in the effectiveness of communication and the development of positive relationships with the public, which in turn contributes to the achievement of organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the MQ (Madrasatul Qur’an) Method as an effort to improve the quality of tahsin among students at the Qur’an Learning Center (TPQ) in Sanggaran Village, Tambak Lekok. The background of this research is the low ability of some students to pronounce Arabic letters correctly and fluently. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the MQ Method consists of three main stages: reading habituation, intensive mentoring, and regular evaluation. The method proved effective in improving students’ tahsin skills, as evidenced by better articulation accuracy, fluency in recitation, and increased motivation to refine their Qur’anic reading. Supporting factors include competent instructors, students’ learning motivation, and institutional support from TPQ management. However, limited learning time and inadequate facilities remain as obstacles. In conclusion, the MQ Method can serve as a strategic alternative to enhance tahsin quality in basic-level Qur’anic education institutions.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Metode MQ (Madrasatul Qur’an) sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas tahsin santri di TPQ Desa Sanggaran Tambak Lekok. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya kemampuan sebagian santri dalam melafalkan huruf hijaiyah secara benar dan tartil. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Metode MQ dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu pembiasaan bacaan, pendampingan intensif, dan evaluasi rutin. Metode ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan tahsin santri, yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan ketepatan makhraj, kelancaran membaca, serta kesungguhan santri dalam memperbaiki bacaan. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan meliputi kompetensi ustaz, motivasi santri, dan dukungan pengelola TPQ. Adapun hambatan yang ditemukan adalah keterbatasan waktu dan fasilitas pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, Metode MQ dapat dijadikan alternatif strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tahsin di lembaga pendidikan Al-Qur’an tingkat dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the regular Friday Pahing recitation (pengajian) of the book Fathul Qorib on strengthening the ‘ubudiyyah’ dimension of the community in Tambak Lekok Village, Pasuruan Regency. The method used is a mixed quantitative and qualitative approach, collecting data by means of questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and participatory observation among villagers who regularly attend the recitation. The findings indicate that the Friday Pahing recitation contributes positively to increasing individual worship awareness (prayer, dhikr, Qur’an recital) and collective worship practices (mutual aid, community solidarity). The study also finds a statistically significant difference between regular participants and non-regular participants in the ubudiyyah dimension. Identified constraints include limited time, venue facilities for recitation, and variability in attendance intensity. The study recommends strengthening village religious structures and improving facilities so that the recitation can more optimally motivate the community   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh rutin pengajian pada hari Jumat Pahing dengan pembacaan dan kajian kitab Fathul Qorib terhadap penguatan aspek ubudiah dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Tambak Lekok, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket, wawancara mendalam, serta observasi partisipatif pada masyarakat yang rutin mengikuti pengajian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengajian Jumat Pahing memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kesadaran ibadah pribadi (shalat, dzikir, tilawah) dan kolektif (gotong-royong, solidaritas masyarakat). Temuan juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara peserta rutin dan yang tidak rutin dalam aspek ubudiah. Kendala yang ditemukan yaitu keterbatasan waktu, fasilitas tempat pengajian, dan variabilitas intensitas kehadiran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan struktur keagamaan desa dan peningkatan fasilitas agar pengajian lebih optimal dalam memotivasi masyarakat.
