The application of finger grasping therapy and music therapy has advantages in handling the decrease in pain intensity for postoperative patients. The aim of this study was to analyze the application of classical music therapy and finger holding techniques in patients experiencing post-operative pain in the surgical treatment room. This type of research is a description with a case study approach model while the sample is 3 respondents who experience postoperative pain with moderate to severe intensity. Data was collected by measuring pain after the intervention. From the results of observations of pain intensity in all respondents, data was obtained that all respondents experienced pain after surgical operations on the stomach. After the application of classical music therapy and finger holding, the results were obtained, namely on the first day, respondent R stated a pain score of 7 to 0 on the third day. Respondent A said a pain score of 6 on the first day to 0 on the third day. Respondent B stated a pain score of 8 on the first day and became 0 on the third day. Abstract

Type 2 DM is a metabolic disorder caused by a lack of insulin hormone. (Intermittent Fasting) is an effective method used to help lower and stabilize blood glucose in patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus. This type of research is a description with a case study approach model. The sample is 2 respondents with Type II Diabetes Mellitus. The application of intermittent fasting diet to respondents with type 2 diabetes mellitus obtained different results, where the first respondent was unsuccessful in carrying out the intermittent fasting diet marked by the GDS levels before and after the intervention were still the same, namely 225 mg / dl, while the second respondent had results marked by GDS before the intermittent fasting diet was 220 mg / dl and after the intermittent fasting diet became 202 mg / dl. Conclusion of the intermittent fasting diet can be seen whether or not there is compliance in carrying out intermittent fasting to determine stable blood sugar levels. In the first respondent, there was no effectiveness because they did not comply with the existing rules in carrying out the intermittent fasting diet which resulted in no decrease in blood sugar levels, while for the second respondent there was a decrease in blood sugar levels and had effectiveness in the intermittent fasting diet, if both respondents did it optimally it would cause a decrease in blood sugar levels.

Abstract

Hemorrhoids are a condition in which the veins in the rectum and anus become swollen and inflamed, causing discomfort and bleeding. If left untreated, hemorrhoids will protrude permanently (grade IV hemorrhoids) and the only therapy for this condition is hemorrhoidectomy. However, excision after hemorrhoidectomy surgery often causes extreme pain. Based on data from the Ministry of Health in 2018, it is estimated that in 2030 there will be 21.3 million people in Indonesia suffering from hemorrhoids. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) to reduce pain intensity after hemorrhoid surgery. This type of research is descriptive with a case study approach model. The sample was 3 respondents after hemorrhoidectomy surgery who experienced severe pain. Data is collected by means of observation and measurement. Analysis is carried out in the form of diagnosis and nursing care. In respondents I, II, III before ASMR therapy, the pain scale felt after hemorrhoid surgery was a scale of 8, with severe pain intensity. Then after being given ASMR therapy for 10 minutes, in respondents I-II, the pain intensity felt was severe in the range (7-8) decreased to moderate pain in the range (4-6). However, in respondent III, the pain intensity was felt to be stable, namely the severe pain scale, there was no decrease in pain intensity. The results of this study can be concluded that ASMR relaxation has significant benefits in reducing post-hemorrhoid surgery pain if it is carried out on people with an open attitude towards ASMR therapy, enjoying the videos provided, full concentration and carried out in accordance with the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

Abstract

Today's lifestyle shift is really alarming. Many people alter their lifestyles without considering the effects that may result or the long-term effects of unhealthful lifestyle modifications. These lifestyle modifications involve both food and exercise. In the Puskesmas area in Pasar Minggu District, the goal of this study is to ascertain the impact of a 30-minute leisurely stroll on changes in blood pressure and pulse in hypertension patients. This study is quantitative and uses a quasi-experimental approach to compare the performance of two groups. The 30-minute leisurely walking intervention was tested before and after in this study to see how it affected blood pressure and pulse in order to avoid hypertension. Blood pressure and pulse in the control group were also cross-sectionally analyzed. Blood pressure and pulse in the control group, or those who did not participate in the activity, did not significantly differ from each other after 30 minutes of walking.
