Abstract

The development of Korean culture, especially K-Pop that has entered Indonesia has increased rapidly in recent years. One of the popular K-Pop groups in Indonesia is NCT, which is one of the boy groups under SM Entertainment. The development of K-Pop that goes hand in hand with technological developments creates various platforms that support the interaction experience between fans and their idols. LYSN application is one of the platforms with this function that allows fans to be able to interact with their idols which is made to resemble a private chat application so that fans will feel a different experience. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The object of this research is the symbolic interaction that occurs in the LYSN application, with the research subject being NCT fans (NCTzen) who subscribe to LYSN for 2 months or more. The results showed that the symbolic interactions that occur in the LYSN application provide a deep meaning for fans who subscribe, the meaning forms various interpretations which then affect what actions will be taken.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the production management of the "Shecangkir Teh Pagi" program on She Radio 99.6 FM by applying the 6M approach (Man, Money, Material, Machine, Method, and Market) developed by George R. Terry. The advancement of broadcasting technology has transformed the dynamics between radio and its audience, enabling more personal and flexible access. She Radio leverages technology to attract and retain listeners, particularly targeting the housewife segment. Data collection techniques included observation and interviews. The findings indicate that strategies such as technological updates, innovative content development, expansion of off-air activities, enhancement of production team skills, strengthening of digital marketing strategies, and improved evaluation and feedback mechanisms have successfully increased listener loyalty. Direct interaction through social media and other digital platforms has been key in understanding and meeting audience needs. This study concludes that a comprehensive approach integrating technology, audience interaction, and innovative content development is crucial for the success of radio in the digital era.

Abstract

Digital Disruption drives the transition in the Mass Media Industry workflow from analog to digital. Every type of conventional mass media needs to innovate in order to develop with the times while maintaining its identity. Mass Media Convergence is one of the steps that conventional mass media companies need to take in order to increase relevance, while maintaining their existence. As a form of conventional media, radio also experiences difficulties in maintaining its existence and relevance to the digital community. International radio companies to national radio companies in Indonesia experience the same challenges, as do local radio. Suara Surabaya is one example of a local radio that since its inception has realized the importance of growing with technological developments, developing digital reach and integrating each platform it has through the implementation of Media Convergence. The results of this implementation make Suara Surabaya as a local radio able to maintain its existence and relevance amidst the onslaught of digital media. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Suara Surabaya Convergence according to the classification of each dimension of convergence, including: Ownership Convergence, Tactical Convergence, Structural Convergence, Information - Gathering Convergence, & Structural Convergence. The results of this study show the relationship between the existence of Suara Surabaya and the implementation of Convergence, and examine in detail the management of Suara Surabaya Media Convergence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the circular economy development policy in Magetan Regency, focusing on the leather industry and its impact on improving the community's economy, especially on Jalan Sawo, Selosari Village. The method used is a qualitative approach, which includes in-depth interviews with industry players, direct observation at the location, and analysis of documents related to the policy. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the circular economy policy not only increases community income through the creation of new jobs but also contributes to waste reduction and increased environmental awareness among the community. In addition, this study identifies challenges faced in implementing the policy, such as lack of training and technical support. Recommendations are provided to improve the effectiveness of this policy, including the need for collaboration between the government, private sector, and the community in creating a sustainable circular economy ecosystem. This research is expected to contribute to the development of better policies in the future.

Abstract

Research on program production management is an interesting research. In this study, researchers chose the "Mojok Mentok" program which was broadcast through online media Mojok.co in 2022/2023. Mojok.co or PT. Narasi Akal Jenaka is an online media located at Perum Sukoharjo Indah A8 RT 09 RW 16 Dukuh Purworejo Sukoharjo Village, Ngaglik Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta. Researchers chose the "Mojok Mentok" program because it has a uniqueness in the process of delivering news which is delivered lightly and spiced with humor. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach using the 6M theory by George Terry as its conceptual framework. This research method involves direct observation, interviews with the production team, and analysis of program content. The collected data was analyzed using an inductive approach to identify patterns, challenges, and production management practices used in the creation of the "Mojok Mentok" program. The results showed that the production management of this program involves strong coordination between various elements, including people, methods, machines, materials, money, and markets as described in 6M theory. These findings provide deep insights into how the production management of online media programs can be applied in practice, as well as contribute to the further development of media production management theory.
