Abstract

Islamic religious education has an essential role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation, especially in the context of Indonesian society, which is predominantly Muslim. One important element of religious education is the teaching of the Koran, which is carried out at the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ). However, the quality of teaching at TPQ often faces significant challenges, including low reading and writing skills of the Qur'an among students. TPQ in rural areas sometimes still experience difficulties in implementing the method (Rahmawati, 2018). This problem can be caused by several factors, including lack of resources, and limited study time. A more interactive and personal teaching approach will be able to improve Al-Qur'an reading skills (Zulkarnain, 2017). The program "TPQ Assistance by Optimizing Al-Qur'an Reading and Writing to Create a Quranic Generation" aims to achieve several main results. First, this program aims to improve the reading and writing ability of the Al-Qur'an of children at TPQ in the villages of Tambak Lekok, Tampung, and Jati Rejo. In this activity, the ABCD (Asset Based Communities Development) strategy or method is used, where this method is a community development approach that focuses on the strengths and assets that already exist in the community.

Abstract

The culture of education in Indonesia is very diverse, including formal, informal, and non-formal institutions. Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) as a non-formal educational institution plays an important role in preserving Islamic religious and cultural values, especially through the use of the Pegon Arabic script in teaching Arabic. This study evaluated the effectiveness of Pegon script writing training using the PAR (Planning, Acting, Reflecting) approach. The results showed a significant increase in writing skills and positive attitudes of participants towards the Pegon script. Success factors included effective learning methods, intensive mentoring, and relevant training materials, despite time constraints and differences in participants' initial abilities. Abstract

This research writing is arranged with the desire to realize the goal of the influence produced by learning discipline on the learning achievement of students of MA TANADA Waru Sidoarjo. The use of methods or methods carried out in the study is quantitative survey type, the population that the researcher took was all students of MA TANADA Waru Sidoarjo as many as 36 as well as the sample taken which is the same as the population if less than 100 then the technique used is total sampling. The first observation was carried out by looking at the condition of the school and interviewing the curriculum vice principal, then making a questionnaire to be distributed to respondents, namely students, and no less important evidence of important documents or files as research material, this method is the data collection technique used in this study. The data collected after that is time to analyze using the provisions of quality testing, assumption testing, and simple regression with one variable of learning discipline. Based on the results of the t-test, the value that matches the significance is proven, meaning the hypothesis is accepted and has a significant effect between the variable of learning discipline on student learning achievement. Efforts that can be made by MA TANADA Waru Sidoarjo school are by using various new strategies or methods to foster students' enthusiasm in learning discipline such as rewards or punishments which in this case students consciously do so that they can encourage achievement in learning.
