Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using flashcards as a memorization aid for Hadith in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MA Al Chodidjah Tebuireng, Cukir, Jombang. The research method employed is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The research subjects include teachers and 10th-grade students who participated in the learning process using flashcards over one semester. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using a thematic approach. The research findings indicate that the use of flashcards significantly enhances students' ability to memorize Hadith. Students reported feeling more motivated and engaged in the memorization process with the help of flashcards, which made it easier for them to remember the Hadith material. Additionally, the use of flashcards improved interaction between teachers and students and provided opportunities for students to learn independently. The study also identified some challenges in the implementation of flashcards, such as limited time for creation and routine use. Therefore, further development efforts are needed, such as the provision of a flashcard bank and teacher training to enhance the effectiveness of learning. This study concludes that flashcards are an effective tool in the Hadith memorization process and have a positive impact on students' learning motivation. Recommendations from this study include the broader integration of flashcards into the curriculum and the provision of adequate support for teachers in their use.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. PBL sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif menempatkan siswa dalam situasi yang menantang melalui pemecahan masalah nyata, sehingga mendorong mereka untuk aktif berpikir, berkolaborasi, dan mengambil keputusan secara logis. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan lima belas artikel penelitian terdahulu melalui platform Google Scholar pada kurun waktu2021 hingga 2024. Seluruh artikel dianalisis secara sistematis untuk mengidentifikasi pola penerapan, efektivitas, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat keberhasilan PBL dalam konteks pembelajaran yang berbeda-beda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian melaporkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis PBL. Meskipun demikian, terdapat satu studi yang menyatakan bahwa penerapan PBL tidak memberikan dampak positif yang berarti. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa keberhasilan PBL sangat dipengaruhi oleh variabel kontekstual, seperti kesesuaian materi pelajaran, kesiapan pendidik, karakteristik peserta didik, serta strategi implementasi yang digunakan di kelas. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa PBL merupakan alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang potensial dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis secara menyeluruh, selama didukung oleh perencanaan dan pelaksanaan yang matang

Abstract

This research writing is arranged with the desire to realize the goal of the influence produced by learning discipline on the learning achievement of students of MA TANADA Waru Sidoarjo. The use of methods or methods carried out in the study is quantitative survey type, the population that the researcher took was all students of MA TANADA Waru Sidoarjo as many as 36 as well as the sample taken which is the same as the population if less than 100 then the technique used is total sampling. The first observation was carried out by looking at the condition of the school and interviewing the curriculum vice principal, then making a questionnaire to be distributed to respondents, namely students, and no less important evidence of important documents or files as research material, this method is the data collection technique used in this study. The data collected after that is time to analyze using the provisions of quality testing, assumption testing, and simple regression with one variable of learning discipline. Based on the results of the t-test, the value that matches the significance is proven, meaning the hypothesis is accepted and has a significant effect between the variable of learning discipline on student learning achievement. Efforts that can be made by MA TANADA Waru Sidoarjo school are by using various new strategies or methods to foster students' enthusiasm in learning discipline such as rewards or punishments which in this case students consciously do so that they can encourage achievement in learning.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed critical structural weaknesses in global health systems and underscored the importance of effective governance in sustaining progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC). This study presents a cross-national comparative analysis of five countries New Zealand, South Korea, Germany, the United States, and Brazil to evaluate how governance dynamics influenced health system resilience and the trajectory toward UHC during the pandemic. Employing a mixed-methods research design, the study integrates policy reviews, public health data, and expert interviews to assess four key governance dimensions: response speed, policy coherence, public trust, and enforcement effectiveness. The results reveal that countries with responsive and transparent governance structures were better able to maintain essential health services, safeguard vulnerable populations, and ensure equitable access without imposing significant financial burdens. Conversely, nations with fragmented or incoherent policy environments experienced greater disruptions and setbacks in their UHC pathways. The study concludes that governance reform must be positioned as a strategic imperative not merely an administrative function in global health planning. Strengthening cross-sectoral coordination, enhancing data transparency, and building institutional trust are essential for constructing health systems that are not only resilient to future crises but also inclusive and equitable in the pursuit of UHC.

Abstract

The demands of the 21st century require educational systems to equip students with critical competencies such as creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and digital literacy. To meet these demands, many educational institutions have adopted an Outcome-Based Curriculum (OBC) framework, designed to ensure that learning outcomes are measurable, competency-driven, and aligned with future workplace requirements. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of OBC implementation in enhancing 21st-century skills among secondary school students. Employing a qualitative library research approach, this study synthesises findings from 55 international peer-reviewed journals, academic books, and policy documents published between 2018 and 2024. The findings reveal that schools implementing OBC demonstrate significant improvements in students’ problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaborative learning outcomes. Furthermore, integrating OBC with digital learning tools and student-centred pedagogies enhances engagement and prepares students to adapt to rapidly changing global challenges. The results underscore the importance of professional teacher training, adequate learning resources, and robust assessment frameworks to ensure successful OBC implementation.

Abstract

Salah satu fondasi sistem pendidikan di Indonesia adalah pembentukan karakter pada peserta didik, khususnya pada jenjang Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kebenaran persiapan yang diterima peserta didik selama kegiatan kepramukaan dalam pembentukan karakter di MI Raudlotul Islamiyah Wonoayu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan Participatory Action Researcg (PAR) dengan melibatkan peserta didik kelas IV dan V, dalam serangkaian kegiatan kepramukaan seperti latihan baris-berbaris, simulasi tantangan lapangan, pengembangan proyek, dan sesi refleksi karakter. Teknik pengumpulan data lainnya adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kepramukaan mampu meningkatkan kualitas karakter peserta didik dalam aspek disiplin, tanggung jawab, kerjasama, kepemimpinan, serta kepedulian sosial dan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini juga berhasil terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan islam dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5). Kegiatan ini dinilai efektif sebagai media pendidikan karakter yang menyenangkan dan aplikatif, serta mampu mendorong kolaborasi antara sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, pelatihan kepramukaan merupakan pendekatan yang baik dan relatif baru terhadap pendidikan karakter jika diterapkan di jenjang MI, khususnya madrasah swasta yang berbasis agama
