Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan alternatif solusi terhadap rendahnya keterampilan membaca permulaan pada anak usia Sekolah Dasar. Salah satu solusi yang ditawarkan adalah menggunakan metode fonik berbantuan fuzzle. Melalui penggunaan metode ini, diharapkan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan membaca permulaan pada siswa. Jenis penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilakukan dengan model Kurt Lewin. Terdiri dari dua siklus, tindakan dilakukan dalam empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, penilaian, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pada keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik dengan metode fonik berbantuan fuzzle menunjukkan peningkatan pada aspek ketuntasan belajar peserta didik di setiap siklus. Misalnya, pada siklus I, 21 peserta didik mencapai KKM dengan prosentase 75%, nilai rata-rata 71,25, dan pada siklus II, 24 peserta didik mencapai KKM dengan prosentase 86%, nilai rata-rata 73,04%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pada aspek ketuntasan belajar peserta didik di setiap siklus. Dengan demikian, maka penggunaan metode fonik berbantuan fuzzle mampu menuntaskan dan meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan peserta didik

Abstract

The era of digital disruption is characterized by easy access to information through various visual platforms such as social media, short videos, and audio content. While this phenomenon has brought significant changes in how people acquire information, it simultaneously presents new challenges to the interest in and habit of in-depth reading. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to the decline in literacy interest amidst the dominance of digital technology and to formulate strategies that can re-foster a culture of literacy. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include non-participant observation and systematic recording of public reading behaviors in daily life. The findings indicate that people tend to prefer consuming instant information via visual and audio media, with a propensity for skimming and a decreased interest in longer texts such as books or academic articles. These findings highlight the need for new literacy approaches that are adaptive to digital formats yet still cultivate deep comprehension. This research contributes to the development of more inclusive, interactive, and media-based digital literacy strategies relevant to modern societal habits.

Abstract

Politeness in digital communication is a crucial aspect that reflects students' sociolinguistic competence in the digital era. This study is motivated by the low awareness among students of the Indonesian Language Education Study Program at Universitas Sindang Kasih Majalengka in applying principles of politeness when interacting through digital media. Common issues include the use of informal language, non-standard abbreviations, and emotional tones in academic conversations. This research aims to describe the forms of language politeness used by students, identify influencing factors, and analyze the application of politeness principles in online interactions between students and lecturers as well as among peers. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation of digital interactions on platforms such as WhatsApp class groups, and document analysis in the form of chat screenshots. The findings indicate that students have not fully grasped the ethics of academic digital communication, as shown by weak pragmatic understanding and low awareness of polite language use. Contributing factors include the culture of instant communication and lack of guidance. Thus, integrating digital communication ethics into the curriculum and encouraging lecturers to model polite communication are essential to foster an ethical and professional digital academic environment.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di jenjang madrasah ibtidaiyah masih menjadi tantangan, khususnya dalam menyesuaikan prinsip pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, penekanan materi esensial, serta pendekatan berbasis proyek dengan karakteristik peserta didik sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi implementasi Merdeka Belajar dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di MI Azzakaria Kuningan, serta mengidentifikasi kendala-kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam proses pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari guru Bahasa Indonesia, kepala madrasah, serta peserta didik kelas atas sebagai responden pelengkap. Data dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengungkap pola penerapan pembelajaran yang sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Merdeka Belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mulai menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, materi esensial, dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi secara kontekstual. Namun, masih ditemukan kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu, belum optimalnya keterkaitan materi dengan kehidupan nyata siswa, serta kesulitan dalam memetakan profil belajar. Strategi yang digunakan guru antara lain adalah menyederhanakan proyek pembelajaran, mengaitkan materi dengan pengalaman keseharian siswa, serta memberikan pilihan tugas sesuai minat dan gaya belajar anak. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya dukungan institusional berupa pelatihan berkelanjutan, pengembangan komunitas belajar guru, dan penyediaan sarana belajar berbasis digital sebagai bagian dari penguatan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di madrasah.

Abstract

Early reading skills play a crucial role in determining students' success in advanced reading. Therefore, teacher attention and intervention are essential in developing early reading skills. Early reading is seen as the primary foundation for subsequent learning, which must be built solidly and managed effectively. This study aims to improve reading skills in elementary school students. One approach offered is the application of the Synthetic Analytical Structure Method (SAS) combined with the use of website-based interactive media. This method is expected to significantly improve students' early reading skills. The study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, implemented in two cycles, each encompassing four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews, assessment, and documentation techniques. The research results show that the use of the interactive web-based SAS method empirically improves students' reading skills in the early stages. This is demonstrated by the increase in completion rates from the pre-cycle (45%) to the second cycle (88%). This not only improved reading technique (pronounced letters and words), but also increased comprehension and desire to learn.
