Abstract

The goal of this study is to ascertain whether employing a blended learning paradigm has increased students' interest in learning. In this study, a descriptive method is combined with a qualitative approach. The population of this study consisted of 36 students in class II-A of the STKIP Yasika Mathematics Education Study Program, which used purposive sampling as its sample technique. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification are used in the analysis of data gathering procedures, which include surveys, interviews, and observations. The results showed that, on average, 86 percent of students in class II-A of the Mathematics Education Study Program in STKIP Yasika exhibited a greater interest in studying English when blended learning is used. These results include the following indicators: 1) feelings of enjoyment with the very strong category (89%); 2) attention with the very strong category (83%); 3) very high interest in learning (91%); and 3) actively involved with the very strong category (81%)

Abstract

Technology is advancing quickly, and one example of this is the spread of computer networks and internet services into practically every sphere of daily life. As long as they are connected to a computer network system via the internet, educators and students can engage and communicate anytime, anywhere, without being constrained by place or time, thanks to technology. This study uses a descriptive qualitative action research methodology in the classroom. This study is a staged, multi-cycle controlled investigative method designed to identify and address learning issues in the classroom. The 32 of AKPER YPIB Majalengka students who participated in this study were the subjects. The deployment of blended learning based on the Quizizz application can increase student learning outcomes, notably in the cognitive element, where students in cycle II have acquired a learning mastery of 96.88%, which can be inferred from the description and analysis of the research. Based on the study's findings, it can be concluded that Quizizz application-based blended learning can enhance student learning outcomes in English classes. The improvement is evident in the rise in student test scores since each learning cycle was put into place.

Abstract

Blended learning is a general term for a method that combines the benefits of classroom learning with online learning. However, the combination of online and face-to-face educational components has caused problems over time. Some studies highlight the general limitations of the blended learning education model, but there is no clear insight into the challenges that exist in the blended learning online component. A systematic literature search was performed to identify obstacles to the online components of blended learning from a student's perspective. The biggest challenges students face are self-regulatory issues and the difficulty of learning technology. This study highlights the need for further research to address the problem of student blended learning.

Abstract

The implementation of this service activity is focused on Cidenok Village with a program to improve the quality of community religion. This devotion is the main concern to pay more attention to the field of spirituality, because in this village there are several prayer rooms in each block so that spiritual activities in Cidenok Village already sound familiar, with regular recitation in each block which is held once a week. In addition, it also aims to develop the creativity of Cidenok Village children in the field of spirituality. This is in accordance with the purpose of education, one of which is in efforts to build character. This service is carried out with an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The Community Service Program in Cidenok Village can be carried out well and run smoothly. The results of this service show that the momentum of commemorating Islamic holidays through various religious competition activities has a positive impact in improving the religious attitude of the people of Cidenok Village. For this reason, efforts that can be made to further empower the younger generation and Muslim society in general are increasing the intensity and quality of religious programs or activities that can be optimized through the commemoration of Islamic holidays.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the kinds of Brown and Levinson’s politeness strategy among the senior high school and how they use those strategies in their daily conversations. In this study applied Brown and Levinson’s politeness strategy. This study was a qualitative approach using descriptive method. The subject was the Senior High School Daarul Huda. The source of the data is the students’ spoken expressions which the writer transcribes into conversational texts. The researcher observed the students’ speaking classes, came to their classes before lecturing, and went to their boarding houses. Their conversation were recorded and transcribed. Then, data was analyzed based on Brown and Levinson’s politeness strategy. The result showed there were 166 utterances of Brown and Levinson's politeness strategy that were used by the students in their daily conversations. These  are a bald on-record strategy, a positive politeness strategy, a negative politeness strategy, an off-record strategy and a do not do FTA/ keep the quiet strategy.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini difokuskan pada manajemen sumberdaya manusia dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan HIV/AIDS melalui pendekatan Peer Educator di Kabupaten Cirebon. Manajemen pemberdayaan sumberdaya manusia dalam pencegahan dan penanggulangan HIV/AIDS melalui pendekatan Peer Educator dilakukan dalam bentuk sosialisasi, focus group discussion (FGD), dan pembentukan warga peduli HIV/AIDS yang merupakan perwakilan tiap desa yang ada di Kabupaten Cirebon. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada PKM ini diantaranya: 1) Membantu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman secara komprehensif pada masyarakat tentang penyakit HIV-AIDS sebagaimana yang diamanahkan dalam MDGs goals 6.a tentang pemberatasan penyakit menular khususnya penyakit HIV-AIDS. 2) Terbentuknya Kader Peer Educator sebagai bagian dari Kelompok Kerja (POKJA) di Tingkat Desa. Kelompok warga ini sebagai perpanjangan tangan pemerintah Kabupaten Cirebon dalam melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi tentang HIV-AIDS. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan PKM ini adalah melalui pendekatan Community Development yaitu pendekatan yang berorientasi kepada upaya-upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan menjadikan masyarakat sebagai subyek dan sekaligus obyek. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilakukan tim PKM, maka dapat di simpulkan: (1) Sosialisasi diselenggarakan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk membangun kesadaran literasi kesehatan masyarakat terkait HIV AIDS. Edukasi tentang karakteristik HIV AIDS, gejala yang ditimbulkan, cara penularan, cara pencegahan, penanggulangan, dan sikap terhadap ODHA. (2) FGD dilakukan dengan melibatkan para mitra, termasuk petugas lapangan KPA Kabupaten Cirebon. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mendiskusikan kendala-kendala yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan program pencegahan dan penanggulangan HIV/AIDS, termasuk rekomendasi/ tindak lanjut untuk perbaikan program selanjutnya. FGD menjadi penting dilakukan untuk membahas perkembangan penanganan terkini pencegahan serta penanganan masyarakat pengidap virus HIV-AIDS. (3) Pembentukan Kader PE sebagai salah satu media untuk percepatan program pencegahan dan penanggulangan HIV/AIDS melibatkan warga, yang di tunjuk oleh masing-masing Desa yang ada di Kabupaten Cirebon. Para kader terpilih, diberikan pembekalan dan pelatihan agar mampu menjadi sumber daya terpercaya dalam melakukan edukasi dan atau penyebaran informasi tentang HIV/AIDS bagi masyarakat di lingkungan sekitarnya. Pada dasarnya setiap individu menyadari bahwa pencegahan dan penanggulangan HIV AIDS dapat berhasil jika ada sinergi dan kerja sama yang terjalin dari semua pihak, mulai dari pemerintah, masyarakat, tenaga kesehatan, dinas terkait, termasuk kalangan akademisi

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan dalam bentuk lokakarya ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penguatan pada implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 4 Sumberjaya Majalengka. Metode PALS digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, yakni: identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan, rancangan lokakarya, pelaksanaan lokakarya, monitoring dan observasi, dan laporan serta tindak lanjut keberhasilan kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan lokakarya yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa guru di SMPN 4 Sumberjaya memahami kurikulum merdeka dan mampu mengimplementasikannya dalam sebuah rancangan pembelajaran dengan berbagai media dan modul ajar sesuai dengan panduan pembelajaran pada kurikulum merdeka.Kata kunci: implementasi kurikulum, kurikulum merdeka, tenaga pendidik

Abstract

Abstrak. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi menyebabkan berbagai institusi pendidikan mengadopsi sistem e-learning untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan fleksibilitas pembelajaran. E-learning untuk akses materi pembelajaran kapan saja, di mana saja. Artikel ini menjelaskan bagaimana menerapkan model pembelajaran campuran pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk meningkatkan literasi digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Disrupsi teknologi informasi dan digitalisasi telah sangat mengubah sistem pendidikan di seluruh dunia. Adanya berbagai terobosan ilmu pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kemampuan berbasis teknologi digital di era 4.0 akan membuat akses informasi dan pengetahuan menjadi sangat cepat, menghilangkan keterbatasan spasial dan temporal. Penerapan model blended learning dapat meningkatkan literasi digital mahasiswa, mengingat tidak ada batasan waktu bagi mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui model ini, mahasiswa akan belajar bagaimana membuat foto dan video selama proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, tersedianya website pendidikan yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran juga mendukung upaya meningkatan literasi digital mahasiswa. Sebagai garda terdepan pendidikan, guru dan dosen memiliki tugas dan tanggung jawab untuk memberikan pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Oleh karena itu, semua pendidik perlu terus mengadaptasi dan mengubah strategi pembelajarannya untuk menghasilkan outcome yang berkualitas. Abstract. The rapid development of technology has caused various educational institutions to adopt e-learning systems to increase the effectiveness and flexibility of learning. With e-learning, you can access learning materials anytime, anywhere. This paper describes applying a mixed learning model to English learning to improve digital literacy. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The disruption of information technology and digitization has profoundly changed education systems around the world. Various scientific breakthroughs, skills, and literacy based on digital technology in the 4.0 era make access to information and knowledge very fast and without limitations of space and time. The application of the blended learning model can improve students' digital literacy, considering that there is no time limit for students in the learning process. Through this model, students will learn how to make photos and videos during the learning process. In addition, the availability of educational websites that can be used in the learning process also supports efforts to increase students' digital literacy. As the front line of education, teachers and lecturers are responsible for providing quality learning. Therefore, all educators need to continue to adapt and change their learning strategies to produce quality outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine project-based learning class management in improving students' English learning outcomes. Therefore, the method used in this research is classroom action research using two cycles. The study's findings indicate that using a project-based learning approach can enhance students' learning outcomes in English classes. The student's learning outcomes in the second cycle demonstrate this; they received an A grade of 33%, above the learning objective/completion by 30%; a B value of 50%, matching the aim of 50%; and a C grade of 17%, well below the target of 20%.

Abstract

Saat ini, masyarakat global sedang menghadapi fenomena globalisasi. Situasi ini secara tidak langsung telah membawa tuntutan-tuntutan yang memerlukan perhatian khusus dari semua lapisan masyarakat. Globalisasi menimbulkan berbagai tantangan, termasuk kemampuan bertahan menghadapi fenomena global, kesiapan untuk bersaing di era kompetisi, serta peningkatan kualitas diri sebagai sumber daya manusia yang memenuhi syarat. Hal ini dapat diupayakan melalui pembaharuan pendidikan dan penciptaan inovasi-inovasi baru dalam bidang pendidikan. Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berbasis bahasa Inggris diharapkan menjadi salah satu cara untuk mempersiapkan Mahasiswamenghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran PAI berbasis bahasa Inggris dapat menjadi upaya dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi. Penelitian dilakukan di STIT Muhammad Banjar pada semester II tahun akademik 2023/2024 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran PAI berbasis bahasa Inggris dapat menjadi upaya untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan globalisasi karena memberikan manfaat yang relevan sebagai solusi atas permasalahan tersebut.
