Abstract

In fact, education does not only produce cognitively proficient students. However, it needs to be balanced with affective aspects to complement the life skills of students in the future. For this reason, this study reviews how the improvement of students’ spiritual intelligence can be obtained by learning tahfidz juz amma through the wahdah method, tasmi’ method, and muraja’ah method. Thus, increasing the spiritual intelligence of students in the form of planting noble morals that can be implemented in everyday life. So that in the future our education can produce knowledgeable people with noble morals based on the values of the Qur’an. This study aims to describe the improvement of students’ spiritual intelligence through the tahfidz juz amma program. In this study, a qualitative approach with descriptive research was applied. In the process of collecting data, researchers used observation methods and direct interviews with teachers and students. The results showed an increase in the spiritual intelligence of students after the implementation of tahfidz juz amma learning through the wahdah method, namely realizing that the ability gained is a gift from Allah which gives birth to an attitude of gratitude. With the tasmi’ method, students have an attitude of caring, cooperation, and honestly in interacting both at school and in the environment. While through the muraja’ah method has a patient and istikamah soul in repeating positive behavior such as reading the Qur’an.

Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the fact that there have not been many innovations made by teachers in developing illustrated textbooks as learning media. Whereas innovation in learning is a necessity so that the teaching and learning process is more varied and not boring. One of the innovations referred to in this study is the development of textbooks. The development of prophetic character-based illustrated textbooks is expected to contribute to supporting the teaching and learning process, stimulating the spirit of learning, and instilling prophetic character in students. This research reviews how to develop picture teaching books that contain their advantages, and the effectiveness of learning outcomes after using this prophetic character-based picture book. The purpose of this research is to develop prophetic character-based picture teaching books, describe their advantages, and find out the learning outcomes of students after using them. This research uses Reseacrh and Development referring to the Borg and Gall model. In collecting data, researchers used qualitative and quantitative data. The results showed that there is an interesting prophetic character-based picture teaching book that has implications for the enthusiasm for learning and student learning outcomes. Abstract

Pelanggaran kedisiplinan sering terjadi di sekolah. Perlu adanya penguatan pendidikan karakter untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan peserta didik. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah metode Service Learning(SL). Service-Learning atau SL merupakan aktivitas yang melibatkan pengalaman praktis, pembelajaran akademik dan keterlibatan masyarakat. Masyarakat yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik di MTs Al- Qur’an Jabalkat Tulungagung. Sehingga mereka bisa mendapatkan manfaat langsung dari PkM tersebut. Hasil pertama dari PkM ini adalah peserta didik menjadi pribadi yang disiplin dan mematuhi peraturan sekolah. Peserta didik yang sering terlambat datang ke sekolah menjadi berkurang, mereka juga lebih rajin mengerjakan tugas dan bersikap sopan santun terhadap guru dan teman- teman di sekolah. Hasil kedua adalah peserta didik saling mengingatkan jika ada temannya yang kurang disiplin. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Karakter, Disiplin

Abstract

Praksis bullying menurut data Federasi Serikat Guru Indonesia tahun 2023 menjadi kasus tertinggi terutama di lingkungan sekolah. Tindakan bullying sendiri melibatkan berbagai bentuk seperti kekerasan fisik, verbal, dan sosial. Kasus semacam ini tampaknya memerlukan perhatian khusus, karena setiap tahunnya selalu ada kasus bullying yang mengemuka. Salah satu upaya yang dapat ditempuh dalam mencegah bullying yakni dengan mensosialisasikan dan mengimplementasikan pendidikan empatif. Pendidikan empatif dapat menjadi solusi integral dalam mencegah perilaku bullying karena selain memberikan pemahaman mengenai perasaan dan pengalaman pribadi, di sisi lain membangun kepekaan terhadap perasaan dan perspektif orang lain sejak dini. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah service learning. Dalam service learning ini dirancang dalam bentuk pemaparan materi, diskusi interaktif, dan sesi tanya jawab. Sasaran pengabdian masyarakat adalah Pimpinan Anak Cabang Ikatan Sarjana Nahdlatul Ulama Rejotangan yang para pengurusnya beragam latar belakang dan kebanyakan guru sekolah dasar. Harapannya para pengurus dapat menjadi agen anti bullying di lembaganya dengan mendiseminasikan serta mengimplementasikan pendidikan empatif dalam rangka mencegah perilaku bullying di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Karena pendidikan empatif dapat memengaruhi perilaku positif, meningkatkan kualitas interaksi sosial, dan membangun hubungan yang bernilai guna mencegah perilaku bullying.
