Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping individual character and abilities. Thematic learning, which combines several subjects under one theme, is increasingly popular. This research explores the implications of thematic learning in grade 5 of SD Wonorejo, Pekalongan Regency. The aim of this research is to describe the implications of class V thematic learning at MI Salafiyah Wonorejo. This research method uses descriptive qualitative, data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results explain that thematic learning environments are carried out both inside and outside the classroom. Thematic learning uses varied learning. This varied learning is adapted to student characteristics. Thematic learning as an integration approach naturally connects facts and ideas in an effort to understand the world. Through a theme network, students can connect ideas with experiences and the environment where students live. The implications of thematic learning include teacher creativity, active student participation, and the use of integrated textbooks. This research is relevant for improving the quality of education by designing more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

Empowering village communities is a strategic effort to increase the capacity ofindividuals or groups so they can be independent and develop local potential.Warungpring Village, which has great potential in durian cultivation, faces challengesin utilizing this potential due to limited community knowledge and skills regardingappropriate cultivation techniques. This research aims to increase the capacity of theWarungpring Village community in cultivating durian through hydroculationtechniques and good maintenance of durian plants. This empowerment program isexpected to help the community utilize durian's potential optimally and increase theirincome. Community service activities were carried out by UIN KKN student K.HAbdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan in Warungpring Village on August 15 2024. Themethod used included training with three stages: planning, implementation andevaluation. Participants are given knowledge about shoot grafting, grafting andhydroculation techniques, as well as practicing durian planting. The evaluation showsthat the availability of supporting technology such as a simple and affordablehydroculation system makes it easier for farmers to apply this technique. The prospectof higher profits from hydroculated durian cultivation attracts farmers' interest intaking part in the outreach. The availability of quality durian seeds that are suitablefor the hydroculation system facilitates the socialization process, but faces challengesin the form of low participation from residents who live far from the activity location.The community empowerment program through training in hydroculating duriancultivation and durian plant maintenance can increase the knowledge and skills of theWarungpring Village community.

Abstract

Penggunaan media augmented reality sangat cocok digunakan pada Pembelajaran IPA materi Sistem Tata Surya dan memberikan potensi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep tata surya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media berbasis augmented reality guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI MSI 08 Medono Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, Evaluasi). Subjek penelitian berjumlah 34 siswa. Pada kategori layak, hasil uji ahli media menunjukkan skor sebesar 75% dan 78%. Kategori sangat praktis pada angket mempunyai skor 88%. Dengan rata-rata skor N-Gain sebesar 0,56 pada kelompok sedang, hasil pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup besar. Hasil ini menunjukkan pentingnya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara efektif dan mengajarkan Ilmu Tata Surya dengan media berbasis AR. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa materi pembelajaran augmented reality terkait tata surya layak digunakan di kelas dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VI MSI 08 Medono Pekalongan.   Abctract The use of augmented reality media is very suitable for use in science learning on Solar System material and provides the potential to increase students' understanding of the concept of the solar system. The aim of this research is to develop augmented reality-based media to improve the learning outcomes of class VI students at MSI 08 Medono Pekalongan. This research uses the ADDIE research and development (R&D) stages (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects were 34 students. In the feasible category, the media expert test results showed scores of 75% and 78%.  The very practical category on the questionnaire had an 88% score.  With an average N-Gain score of 0.56 in the medium group, the pretest and posttest results demonstrated a considerable gain.  These results demonstrate the importance of effectively enhancing student learning outcomes and teaching Solar System Science with AR-based media.  These findings suggest that solar system-related augmented reality learning materials are appropriate for use in the classroom and can enhance the learning outcomes of MSI 08 Medono Pekalongan class VI pupils.
