Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara ekologi dan filsafat sains dalam pendidikan Islam, dengan menyoroti bagaimana nilai-nilai ekologi dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam sistem pendidikan untuk menciptakan kesadaran lingkungan yang selaras dengan prinsip Islam. Pendidikan Islam mengajarkan tanggung jawab manusia sebagai khalifah di bumi, yang mencakup pemeliharaan alam dan penggunaan ilmu pengetahuan secara bijaksana. Penelitian ini mengkaji literatur terbaru untuk memahami bagaimana konsep-konsep ekologi dan filsafat sains dapat diterapkan dalam kurikulum, serta mendorong peserta didik agar berperan aktif dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi ekologi dan filsafat sains dalam pendidikan Islam bukan hanya relevan dengan kebutuhan global akan keberlanjutan, tetapi juga memperkaya tujuan spiritual dalam pendidikan Islam itu sendiri. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan holistik, generasi muda dapat dibentuk menjadi individu yang bertanggung jawab secara ekologis, moral, dan spiritual.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in strengthening Indonesia's unity and unity, which is often threatened by problems such as radicalization, social polarization, and intolerance. Given the diversity of religions, ethnicities, and cultures in Indonesia, PAI has a responsibility to instill Islamic values that emphasize peace, tolerance, and unity. This study uses a literature review approach to identify various strategies that can be applied in PAI to reduce social tension and strengthen interfaith relationships. The strategies discussed include strengthening Islamic ukhuwah, the implementation of religious moderation, Islamic character education, digital literacy, and the integration of local values in PAI learning. The findings of the study show that PAI, through its approach to religious moderation and character education, can play an important role in shaping a more inclusive and respectful society, while strengthening national unity. In addition, digital literacy applied wisely can help address the dissemination of information that undermines unity, while the integration of local values in PAI offers an approach that is relevant to Indonesian culture. This article emphasizes that PAI has great potential as an agent of change in easing polarization and creating a harmonious society in the midst of diversity

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran Pendidikan Islam (Pendidikan Agama Islam, atau PAI) dalam membentuk karakter mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi multikultural Indonesia. Studi literatur ini mengeksplorasi dampak Pendidikan Agama Islam terhadap pengembangan karakter mahasiswa, dengan fokus pada pendekatan pedagogis, integrasi nilai multikultural, dan strategi yang dapat mendorong toleransi serta pemahaman antarbudaya. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa PAI memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam menumbuhkan sifat-sifat seperti toleransi, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Namun, efektivitas PAI sering kali dipengaruhi oleh dukungan institusi, kompetensi pengajar, serta tantangan globalisasi dan era digital. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan dasar untuk mengembangkan program pendidikan Islam yang relevan dan inovatif untuk menciptakan individu yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademis tetapi juga berkarakter mulia dan mampu berkontribusi dalam masyarakat multikultural

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the basics and foundations of the development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum with an interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary, and transdisciplinary approach in response to the complexity of 21st century educational challenges. The PAI curriculum is required not only to teach religious aspects normatively, but also to equip students with the ability to think critically, reflectively, and contextually in dealing with social realities. A multidisciplinary approach plays a role in enriching teaching materials through the contribution of various sciences without removing interdisciplinary boundaries. Meanwhile, an interdisciplinary approach allows collaboration between fields of science to produce a more in-depth scientific synthesis. The transdisciplinary approach actually breaks through disciplinary boundaries by focusing on solving real problems through an integrative and holistic perspective. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data sources were obtained from scientific journals, books, and education policy documents published in the last five years. Data analysis was carried out in a descriptive analytical manner to identify the basic principles and theoretical foundations that are the basis in the development of the PAI curriculum with the three approaches. The results of the study show that the development of the PAI curriculum based on an inter-, multi-, and transdisciplinary approach contributes significantly to the creation of a learning system that is adaptive, contextual, and relevant to the needs of the times and supports the formation of religious and humanist character.
