Abstract

Manajemen pendidik memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan kualitas pendidikan, namun di SDN Labang, manajemen pendidik menghadapi tantangan utama berupa kurangnya tenaga pendidik yang berdampak pada peningkatan beban kerja guru dan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kendala serta strategi manajemen pendidik di SDN Labang dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data utama diperoleh dari kepala sekolah dan guru kelas 5B SDN Labang, serta didukung oleh data sekunder terkait manajemen tenaga pendidik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perekrutan telah dilakukan secara terstruktur, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, seleksi kompetensi, dan orientasi pendidik baru. Namun, penyebaran informasi yang kurang optimal menyebabkan jumlah pelamar tidak mencukupi. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan, mentoring, serta evaluasi kinerja secara berkala. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan pemerintah untuk memperkuat proses perekrutan serta menyediakan tenaga pendidik yang kompeten agar kualitas pembelajaran dapat terus ditingkatkan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the process of using the demonstration method in mathematics learning on the area of square and rectangular shapes and improving student learning outcomes on the area of flat shapes through the demonstration method.The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which has 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used were interviews, tests, observation and documentation. The research instrument is a test sheet on student learning outcomes. The subjects of the research were all class IV students for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 25 students consisting of 12 male students and 13 female students.The results of the research show that the application of the demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes which achieve a score above 70 with a percentage of complete learning outcomes, pre-cycle 28% with an average score of 56.8, Cycle I 60% with an average score of 68 and Cycle 2 96% with average 81.2. Based on the research, it can be concluded that learning mathematics about the area of square and rectangular shapes by applying the demonstration method can be successful, so it can be used as an alternative solution to improve mathematics learning at UPTD SDN Kesek 1.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the use of Wordwall as an instructional medium can enhance students’ learning interest in the Pancasila Education subject for third-grade students at SDN Konang 2. The research is grounded in the recognition of learning interest as a crucial internal factor that contributes to student success, as well as the necessity for engaging and interactive teaching strategies aligned with students’ needs and characteristics. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing an experimental design involving both pretest and posttest measures. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The questionnaire instrument was developed to assess four key dimensions of learning interest: enjoyment, curiosity, attention, and engagement during the learning process. The analysis revealed that all four indicators yielded high results, with an average percentage of 80.5%. These findings indicate that the integration of Wordwall, featuring content on the application of Pancasila values, effectively stimulates students’ interest and active participation in learning activities. Therefore, Wordwall can be considered an innovative and relevant learning tool that supports the demands of 21st-century education.
