Abstract

Manajemen pendidik memiliki peran penting dalam memastikan kualitas pendidikan, namun di SDN Labang, manajemen pendidik menghadapi tantangan utama berupa kurangnya tenaga pendidik yang berdampak pada peningkatan beban kerja guru dan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kendala serta strategi manajemen pendidik di SDN Labang dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data utama diperoleh dari kepala sekolah dan guru kelas 5B SDN Labang, serta didukung oleh data sekunder terkait manajemen tenaga pendidik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perekrutan telah dilakukan secara terstruktur, meliputi analisis kebutuhan, seleksi kompetensi, dan orientasi pendidik baru. Namun, penyebaran informasi yang kurang optimal menyebabkan jumlah pelamar tidak mencukupi. Strategi yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan, mentoring, serta evaluasi kinerja secara berkala. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pihak sekolah dan pemerintah untuk memperkuat proses perekrutan serta menyediakan tenaga pendidik yang kompeten agar kualitas pembelajaran dapat terus ditingkatkan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how the use of Wordwall as an instructional medium can enhance students’ learning interest in the Pancasila Education subject for third-grade students at SDN Konang 2. The research is grounded in the recognition of learning interest as a crucial internal factor that contributes to student success, as well as the necessity for engaging and interactive teaching strategies aligned with students’ needs and characteristics. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing an experimental design involving both pretest and posttest measures. Data were collected through a closed-ended questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The questionnaire instrument was developed to assess four key dimensions of learning interest: enjoyment, curiosity, attention, and engagement during the learning process. The analysis revealed that all four indicators yielded high results, with an average percentage of 80.5%. These findings indicate that the integration of Wordwall, featuring content on the application of Pancasila values, effectively stimulates students’ interest and active participation in learning activities. Therefore, Wordwall can be considered an innovative and relevant learning tool that supports the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools, particularly multiplication material, remains challenging for some students. This study aimed to determine the effect of using Zep Quiz interactive media integrated with the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the mathematics learning outcomes of Grade IV students. The hypotheses tested were H₀: there is no significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes, and H₁: there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two classes. This study employed a Quasi-Experimental Nonequivalent Control Group Design involving 72 students, consisting of Grade IV A as the control class (n = 35) and Grade IV B as the experimental class (n = 37). The research instrument was a multiple-choice pretest and posttest. Instrument testing showed that 11 items were valid and used for data collection. Reliability analysis yielded coefficients of 0.805 for the pretest and 0.823 for the posttest, indicating that the instrument was highly reliable. Data were analyzed using SPSS 27. The Kolmogorov–Smirnov normality test showed that all data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.184 (experimental pretest), 0.129 (experimental posttest), 0.068 (control pretest), and 0.052 (control posttest), all exceeding 0.05. The homogeneity test produced a significance value of 0.671 (> 0.05), indicating homogeneous variances. Independent Sample T-Test results showed Levene’s Test significance of 0.674 (> 0.05), confirming equal variances assumed. The analysis yielded t = 2.164, df = 70, and sig. (2-tailed) = 0.041 (< 0.05), leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of H₁. The Mean Difference of 9.205 indicated higher learning outcomes in the experimental class. Therefore, the use of Zep Quiz interactive media with the PBL model significantly improved students’ mathematics learning outcomes on multiplication material in Grade IV elementary school.
