Abstract

The use of interactive learning media is increasingly important in the digital era to increase students' interest in learning. Currently, game-based media is a solution that offers a more enjoyable and in-depth learning experience, so that it can motivate students to understand the subject matter. Although many studies have shown that digital learning media can increase the effectiveness of learning, the use of digital games based on religious material is still limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop and validate learning media in the form of a digital snake and ladder game for Al-Mumit, Al-Hayyu, Al-Qayyum, and Al-Ahad materials for grade V students. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D approach (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), but this study is limited to the development stage. The results of the study showed that the validation of the material obtained a score of 83.4%, which is included in the "Very Eligible" category, and the validation of media experts reached a score of 89.9%, which is also included in the "Very Eligible" category. Thus, this digital snake and ladder game can be used as an alternative interactive and effective learning media to understand the Al-Mumit, Al-Hayyu, Al-Qayyum, and Al-Ahad materials

Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an is an important foundation for Muslims, especially if it is instilled from an early age. However, there are still many early childhood children who face difficulties in reading the Qur'an properly and correctly. This study aims to improve the ability to read the Qur'an of early childhood at TPA Darul Rahman Palangka Raya through the assistance of the Karimah method. The Karimah method, which emphasizes systematic and structured teaching of Arabic letters and tajweed, is considered effective for beginners. This research uses the Action Research method with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 7 students of class A at TPA Darul Rahman. The results of the observation showed that the main problem lies in the lack of emphasis on the short length of the reading, makharijul huruf, and the application of tajweed rules. Through intensive assistance for 5 meetings, there was a significant improvement in the participants' ability to read the Qur'an. The Karimah method proved to be effective due to its simple approach, focus on concise and structured exercises, and interesting presentation of materials. This program is very much needed by people who want to learn to read the Qur'an in a short time.

Abstract

Huma Betang, sebagai simbol kearifan lokal masyarakat Dayak Kalimantan Tengah, mengandung nilai-nilai luhur seperti kebersamaan, gotong royong, toleransi, musyawarah, saling menghormati, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai filosofi Huma Betang dapat diwariskan sebagai dasar pendidikan karakter kepada mahasiswa di Kota Palangka Raya. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi wawancara, dokumentasi terhadap mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam UIN Palangka Raya yang memiliki latar belakang budaya lokal Dayak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa. Nilai-nilai Huma Betang ditanamkan melalui pendidikan formal, kegiatan budaya, media modern, serta keteladanan dari keluarga dan masyarakat. Pewarisan ini penting untuk memperkuat identitas budaya serta membentuk generasi muda yang berkarakter di tengah tantangan globalisasi. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pemanfaatan kearifan lokal dalam sistem pendidikan sebagai langkah strategis untuk mewujudkan pendidikan karakter yang sesuai dengan kondisi dan kebutuhan masyarakat setempat.

Abstract

Ramadhan is a significant moment for Muslims to enhance religious practices, including tadarus (recitation) of the Qur’an. Masjid Darul Rahman Palangka Raya organized a tadarus mentoring program for young congregants as an effort to instill love for the Qur’an from an early age. The aim of this initiative is to improve children’s Qur’anic reading skills and instill spiritual values during the month of Ramadhan. The method used is service learning, implemented through three stages: pre-implementation (needs assessment and goal formulation), implementation (mentoring sessions), and post-implementation (evaluation and reflection). The results show an improvement in participants’ Qur’an reading ability and high enthusiasm among children in participating in the program. Additionally, a religious, enjoyable, and character-building learning environment was established. This program has the potential to serve as a model for mosque-based early childhood religious education that can be implemented sustainably.
