Abstract

Abstract This article discusses the results of training activities to create French language teaching materials using PowerPoint motion graphics for French teachers at vocational schools throughout Jakarta. This training activity was motivated by several reasons, including because French in vocational schools is only an elective subject, the lack of interest in learning French among vocational school students, and French language textbooks that do not meet the needs of vocational schools. For this reason, efforts need to be made so that the teaching materials used by teachers are in accordance with the learning needs of vocational school students and the characteristics of vocational school students. One of the efforts made is to provide training to French teachers at vocational schools throughout Jakarta in creating French language teaching materials using Power Point Motion Graphics. This training produces French language teaching materials that can be implemented in classes taught by teachers. Thus, this training activity provides benefits for French teachers in developing French language teaching materials that are appropriate to their needs and interesting. Metode pelatitannya menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi kelompok dan audio visual. Abstrak Artikel ini membahas tentang hasil kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan bahan ajar bahasa Prancis menggunakan motion grafis PowerPoint untuk guru bahasa Prancis SMK se-Jakarta. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa alasan antara lain karena bahasa Perancis di SMK hanya sebagai mata pelajaran pilihan, kurangnya minat belajar bahasa Prancis siswa SMK, dan buku pelajaran bahasa Prancis yang kurang memenuhi kebutuhan SMK. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan upaya agar bahan ajar yang digunakan guru sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar siswa SMK dan karakteristik siswa SMK. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru bahasa Prancis SMK se-Jakarta dalam membuat bahan ajar bahasa Prancis dengan menggunakan Motion Graphic Power Point. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan bahan ajar bahasa Prancis yang dapat diimplementasikan di kelas yang diajar oleh guru. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat bagi guru bahasa Prancis dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar bahasa Prancis yang sesuai dengan kebutuhannya dan menarik. Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of nationalism in the poem La Guerre by Louise Ackermann. This study uses the theory of forms of nationalism according to Taguieff, they are nationalisme ethnique (ethnique nationalism), nationalisme civique (civique nationalism) and nationalisme culturel (cultural nationalism) which are contained in his book entitled La Revanche du Nationalisme. This research method is a qualitative descriptive analysis with flow model of analysis according to Miles and Huberman which includes three components of analysis, there are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification which is carried out by flowing or interconnected and continuous with concurrent data collection process. The results of this study indicate that there are twenty-five (25) data in poetry that indicate forms of nationalism. In detail, there are twenty-four (24) quotations that have the form of nationalisme civique (civique nationalism), five (5) quotation that have the form of nationalisme culturel (cultural nationalism), and three (3) quotations that have the form of nationalisme ethnique (ethnic nationalism).

Abstract

This research aims to describe the elements of symbolism contained in the poem Apparition by Stéphane Mallarmé. In this research, there are four elements of symbolism referring to Wellek & Warren's the ory, namely image, metaphor, symbol, and myth. The research method used is content analysis using a qualitative structural approach to the work. Data analysis uses document analysis and refers to data analysis techniques with data sources, namely poetry with intrinsic elements in the analyzed poetry in the form of phonological elements and semantic elements. The results of this research indicate that there are 20 data in poetry that reflect the four elements of symbolism. Of the four elements of image symbolism, the dominant element is found in 14 lines, then the symbol element is found in 3 lines, the metaphor element is found in 2 lines, and the least found element is myth in 1 line.

Abstract

AbstrakTeknologi akal imitasi (AI) berkembang semakin pesat. Pekerjaan yang semula membutuhkan waktu lama dapat diselesaikan hanya dalam sekejap. Dalam bidang pendidikan, bagi beberapa orang, akal imitasi dapat menjadi ancaman karena banyak pemelajar menggunakannya dengan tidak bijak. Di sisi lain, teknologi ini justru sangat dapat diandalkan untuk pekerjaan yang mendadak dan memerlukan waktu singkat, bahkan saat memiliki banyak pekerjaan lain. Oleh sebab itu, para guru, terutama guru bahasa Prancis, seharusnya memanfaatkan kemudahan itu dan beradaptasi dengannya. Salah satu akal imitasi yang dapat meringankan pekerjaan guru adalah ChatGPT. Membuat soal evaluasi seringkali menguras banyak energi dan mengabiskan banyak waktu. Dengan ChatGPT, pembuatan soal evaluasi akan menjadi lebih cepat dan akurat selama disertai dengan permintaan (prompt) yang spesifik. Untuk itu, pengabdian dilakukan. Bentuk pengabdian ini adalah lokakarya pemanfaatan ChatGPT untuk membuat evaluasi pembelajaran keterampilan reseptif bahasa Prancis secara luring dengan modul berisi teori dan praktik. Peserta pelatihan adalah para guru MGMP Bahasa Prancis SMK se-DKI Jakarta. Kegiatan ini mendapat respons yang sangat positif dan memberikan kiat yang sangat bermanfaat bagi mereka.AbstractArtificial intelligence (AI) technology is developing rapidly. Tasks that used to take a long time can now be completed in an instant. In the field of education, for some people, AI can be a threat because many learners use it unwisely. On the other hand, this technology is very reliable for sudden tasks that require a short time, even when there are many other tasks to do. Therefore, teachers, especially French teachers, should take advantage of this convenience and adapt to it. One type of artificial intelligence that can ease the work of teachers is ChatGPT. Creating evaluation questions often takes a lot of energy and time. With ChatGPT, creating evaluation questions will be faster and more accurate as long as specific prompts are provided. For this reason, the community service was carried out. This community service took the form of workshop on the use of ChatGPT to create evaluations of receptive French language skills, conducted offline with modules containing theory and practice. The training participants were teachers who are members of the French Language MGMP (Teacher Working Group) for vocational schools in DKI Jakarta. This activity received very positive responses and provided them with very useful insight.
