Abstract

The Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers states that one of the duties of teachers and lecturers as professional education personnel is to plan, carry out a quality learning process, assess and evaluate learning outcomes. The expected learning outcomes are able to deliver students to have communication skills, collaboration skills, critical thinking skills and problem solving skills, creativity and innovation skills. . In response to this, teachers and lecturers must improve and develop academic qualifications and competencies on an ongoing basis according to the times. To realize this, teachers and lecturers can take part in training. The P2M team of UNJ's French Language Education Study Program has organized Activités Ludiques (language games) training, namely training to teach French through innovative language games, which can deliver students to communicate, think critically, innovatively, creatively in accordance with the demands of this century. The training lasted for 20 hours, the participants consisted of French teachers at SMK and SMA in Jakarta. During the training they received material in the form of various language game platforms namely Kahoot, Quizizz, Learning Apps, Quizlet, Educative Logiciel, Jeu de l'oie, Qu'est-ce qu'il manque. With this training, the P2M Team of the French Language Education Study Program, UNJ hopes that the training participants, consisting of French vocational high school and high school teachers in Jakarta, can improve their competence and professionalism.

Abstract

Blended learning banyak diterapkan di Era Industri 4.0. Penerapan blended learning memadukan pembelajaran konvensional dan e-learning. Google Sites dapat digunakan dalam blended learning untuk kegiatan e-learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran keterampilan membaca bahasa Prancis berbasis Google Sites. Pengembangan mengacu pada metode Borg and Gall mulai dari tahap desain produk hingga revisi produk. Produk yang dikembangkan ditujukan untuk pemelajar bahasa Prancis pada tingkat pemula. Hasil penelitian berupa prototipe website e-learning keterampilan membaca bahasa Prancis yang menyajikan tujuh materi yang berisi wacana tulis, materi gramatikal, dan latihan interaktif berbasis LearningApps. Melalui pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites yang telah dilakukan, diharapkan dapat menjadi pendukung dalam penerapan blended learning bahasa Prancis.

Abstract

Melestarikan budaya daerah merupakan hal yang perlu dilakukan agar budaya tetap hidup. Budaya Betawi merupakan budaya masyarakat Jakarta yang perlu juga dilestarikan. Untuk melestarikan budaya Betawi, tidak hanya perlu dilakukan di tingkat lokal, namun juga perlu adanya pengenalan di tingkat internasional. Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis, Universitas Negeri Jakarta telah banyak menjalin kerjasama dalam kegiatan akademik dengan Universiti Malaya, Malaysia seperti mengundang dosen Universiti Malaya untuk menjadi pembicara dalam kegiatan seminar dan konferensi. Program pengenalan budaya Betawi dilakukan bagi mahasiswa-mahasiwa Departement of Asia and European Languages Faculty of Languages and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya. Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat berencana melakukan kegiatan memperkenalkan dan memberikan pemahaman mengenai budaya Betawi yang unik dan menarik kepada mahasiswa Universiti Malaya. Kegiatan berupa presentasi di kelas secara daring dan luring. Presentasi berisi mengenai budaya Betawi yang terkenal dan dapat ditemui ketika mahasiswa berkunjung ke Jakarta. Abstract

Cet article examine comment la satire est utilisée par la communauté noire comme forme de critique au milieu de stéréotypes et de jugements sociétaux persistants. Il se concentre sur l'analyse des types de satire présentés dans le film Tout Simplement Noir de Jean-Pascal Zaldi et John Wax, en utilisant le cadre de la satire d'Engel (2008). Utilisant une approche qualitative, la recherche utilise la méthode d'analyse de contenu de Sudaryanto (2015) par l'écoute et la prise de notes pour la collecte de données. L'analyse des données suit la méthodologie de Miles et Huberman (2014), impliquant la réduction des données, l'affichage et l'élaboration de conclusions. Les résultats illustrent des cas de satire conformes à la théorie d'Engel, avec la satire horatienne avec un total de 14 énoncés (47%) et la satire juvénalienne avec un total de 16 énoncé (53%).

Abstract

Public speaking and personal branding are essential skills that can open career opportunities and advance professional development for everyone, especially OSIS students. SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdanakusuma recognizes the importance of these skills for its students. Unfortunately, specialized training related to these topics has not yet been conducted there. To address this issue, the Community Service team from the French Language Education Program collaborated with SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdanakusuma to organize training in public speaking and personal branding aimed at developing the leadership character of OSIS students. This activity was conducted in-person and comprised three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. A total of 33 students participated in this event, receiving both theoretical and practical instruction, along with assignments to enhance their public speaking skills and build a positive self-image. The results of the training showed positive development after the sessions, with participants demonstrating increased confidence and the ability to present material effectively using various public speaking techniques.    Abstrak Public speaking dan personal branding adalah keterampilan penting yang dapat membuka peluang karir dan memajukan perkembangan profesional bagi setiap orang, terutama siswa OSIS. SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdanakusuma menyadari pentingnya keterampilan tersebut bagi siswanya. Sayangnya, pelatihan khusus terkait tema tersebut belum pernah dilaksanakan di sana. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis bekerja sama dengan SMA Angkasa 1 Halim Perdanakusuma dalam mengadakan pelatihan public speaking dan personal branding dengan tujuan mengembangkan karakter kepemimpinan siswa OSIS. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara luring dengan tiga  tahapan  yakni  persiapan, pelaksanaan,  dan  evaluasi. Sebanyak 33 siswa menjadi peserta pada kegiatan ini dengan diberikan teori dan praktik, serta penugasan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum dan membangun citra diri yang positif. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan perkembangan yang positif setelah pelatihan di mana peserta memiliki kepercayaan diri yang meningkat sehingga mampu menyampaikan materi dengan baik dengan menerapkan berbagai teknik public speaking.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the use of persuasive strategies in L'Oréal Paris advertisements. The approach used is qualitative followed by descriptive exposure using content analysis method in identifying the data being studied. This study refers to Gorys Keraf’s and Pachocińska’s theory which is (1) argumentation with facts (l’argument avec des faits), (2) rhetorical questions (la question rhétorique), (3) imperative sentences (la phrase impérative), and (4) exclamative sentences (la phrase exclamative). Data collection techniques used documentation and note-taking & listening techniques and data analysis techniques using Miles and Hubermen techniques which were divided into three parts, namely data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The results of this research indicate that there are forty (40) quotes that contain persuasive strategies. There are thirteen (13) advertising data for L’Oréal Paris products. Based on data analysis, all kinds of persuasive strategies were found in L’Oréal Paris advertisements. Arguments with facts (l'argument avec des faits) found seven (7) quotes with 17%, rhetorical questions (la question rhétorique) found five (5) quotes with 12%, imperative sentences (la phrase imperative) found eleven (11) quotes with 28%, and exclamative sentences (la phrase exclamative) found seventeen (17) quotes with 40%which is the dominant strategy found in L’Oréal Paris advertisements.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the types of social conflicts contained in the film BAC Nord by Cédric Jimenez. The main theories used as a reference are two types of social conflict according to the theory of social conflict proposed by Lewis Coser (2001: 49) which consists of Realistic Conflict & Non-Realistic Conflict. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis method using data collection techniques, namely the listening method and the recording technique which refers to the theory proposed by Mahsun (in Muhammad 2014:217-218). The collected data was analyzed using data analysis techniques according to theory by Miles and Hubermen (in Hardani 2020: 163-173), namely data reduction, data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions.The results of this research on types of social conflicts according to the theory of Lewis Coser found in the film BAC Nord by Cédric Jimenez, there are thirty (30) data in the form of dialogue or conversation that indicate the existence of types of social conflicts. In detail, out of the thirty (30) dialogues, thirteen (13) dialogues were obtained that showed the existence of a type of realistic conflict social conflict. Furthermore, there are seventeen (17) dialogues that indicate the existence of a type of Non-Realistic Conflict social conflict.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the phases of stigmatizing the main character in the novel 813 by Maurice Leblanc. The approach used is a structural qualitative approach to literary works with content analysis methods. Data in the form of words, phrases or sentences, dialogue about the phases of stigma formation. While the data source is Novel 813 by Maurice Leblanc. The theory used in this study refers to the stigma theory according to Jean-Yves Giordana in the form of three phases of stigma formation, namely (1) the labeling phase (Étiquetage) (2) prejudice (Préjudice), and (3) discrimination (Discrimination). Data analysis uses document studies and refers to data analysis techniques for data sources, namely by analyzing each intrinsic element in the novel starting from plot, character and setting, then referring to data analysis techniques used by Miles and Huberman, namely, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are twenty-two (22) quotations that show a stigma- forming phases felt by the main character in Maurice Leblanc's novel 813. Among them, the first phase of prejudice amounted to eleven (11) citations, the labelling phase consisted of seven (7) citations and the discrimination phase consisted of four (4) citations. Based on the research that has been completed, it can be concluded that the prejudice phase is the phase most experienced by the main character in Maurice Leblanc's novel 813, followed by the second phase, the labelling phase and the last phase, the discrimination phase.

Abstract

Abstract The integration of ICT in learning in the 21st century is necessary. In addition to improving students' digital literacy, learning using ICT can also motivate students to learn. One of the ways is through gamification. Gamification is a learning approach that uses games to increase students' motivation and interest in learning. By increasing students' motivation to learn, it is expected that students can achieve learning objectives optimally. Technology integration and gamification utilization for Ar Raudhah Integrated Islamic Elementary School teachers are still not optimal. For this reason, the French Language Education Community Service Team provided gamification training in 21st century learning for teachers at Ar Raudhah Integrated Islamic Elementary School located in Jatiasih, Bekasi. The method used was face-to-face training and tutoring. The training materials are slides and tutorials on making gamification for learning using Genially. After the training, teachers can create gamification for their lessons. Based on the post-test results, the gamification created can increase student motivation and activeness in the learning process. The training can also improve teachers' self-development. Abstrak Integrasi TIK dalam pembelajaran di abad ke-21 sangatlah diperlukan. Selain untuk meningkatkan literasi digital siswa, pembelajaran menggunakan TIK juga dapat memotivasi siswa dalam belajar. Salah satu caranya yaitu dengan gamifikasi. Gamifikasi merupakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan game atau permainan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan ketertarikan siswa dalam belajar. Dengan meningkatknya motivasi belajar siswa, diharapkan siswa dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan maksimal. Integrasi teknologi dan pemanfaatan gamifikasi bagi guru-guru Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ar Raudhah masih belum optimal. Dengan alasan itulah, Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis memberikan pelatihan gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21 bagi guru-guru di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ar Raudhah yang terletak di Jatiasih, Bekasi. Metode yang digunakan berupa pelatihan dan tutotial secara tatap muka. Materi pelatihan yaitu salindia dan tutorial pembuatan gamifikasi untuk pembelajaran menggunakan Genially. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, guru-guru diminta untuk membuat game sesuai dengan pembelajarannya masing-masing. Guru-guru lalu mempresentasikan hasil kerjanya dan Tim Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat meberikan saran dan masukan atas hasil kerja yang dibuat guru-guru. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan, guru-guru dapat membuat gamifikasi untuk pembelajaran yang diampu. Berdasarkan hasil post-test, gamifikasi yang dibuat dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan yang dilakukan juga dapat meningkatkan pengembangan diri guru-guru.
