Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pengelolaan kurikulum dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan berdasarkan IASP 2020 di Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Negri (MIN) 1 Bandung Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Dengan teknik Pengumpulan data: Observasi kemudian wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Ditinjau dari IASP untuk mengembangkan, mengimplementasikan, dan mengevaluasi dan dampak pengelolaan kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan kurikulum MAN 1 Bandung Barat telah diterapkan secara menyeluruh dalam sekolah menimbang tujuan, metode, penilaian serta peningkatan. Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan terlihat dari semakin meningkatnya hasil akademis yang didapatkan siswa dan budaya sekolah yang semakin tertata dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Kurikulum, Peningkatan Kualitas, Pendidikan

Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping quality human resources, especially in the digital era that demands efficiency and transparency in school management. This study aims to describe the implementation of the school's Management Information System (SIM) in improving the quality of education services at MTs Daarul Muttaqiin Cimahi, as well as identify obstacles and efforts to overcome them. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the implementation of SIM at MTs Daarul Muttaqiin Cimahi has helped improve the efficiency of data management of students, teachers, financial administration, and facilities and infrastructure. The positive impacts include the acceleration of administrative processes, increased information transparency, and support for data-based decision making. However, the implementation of SIM still faces several obstacles, such as limited technological infrastructure, lack of professionals in the field of information technology, and limited skills of teaching and education personnel in operating the system. To overcome these obstacles, the school has made various efforts, including the procurement of technology equipment through government assistance, regular training for education personnel, and cooperation with third parties for system development. With these efforts, SIM is expected to continue to be optimized to improve the quality of education services at MTs Daarul Muttaqiin Cimahi.

Abstract

This research explores the challenges and opportunities in implementing Management Information Systems (MIS) in Islamic Education Institutions.  Management Information Systems plays an important role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of resource management, while strengthening the trust of various related parties. This study uses the literature review method by analyzing relevant literature, journals and case studies. The results show that the implementation of SIM can facilitate access to information, improve reporting regularity, and strengthen academic and administrative monitoring and evaluation. However, the implementation faces several obstacles, such as lack of understanding of technology, limited resources, resistance to change, and data security issues. To overcome these challenges, a holistic approach is needed through technology training, effective change management, and strengthening data security policies. In addition, increased understanding and support from policy makers are also key factors in successful SIM implementation. With the right strategy, SIM can be optimally utilized to improve the quality of education management in Islamic Education Institutions.
