Abstract

This development research aims to produce valid and practical e-modules based on Differentiated Instruction using the STAD model, integrating Al-Qur'an content in the Digestive System topic. This type of research is development research (R&D) using the 4D model (define, design, develop and dissaminate), but the research was limited to the development stage due to constraints in time and funding. This research was conducted in grade XI of senior high school during the 2024/2025 school year. The sample in this study were class XI students totaling 33 people. The e-module was designed using the Canva application then converted using heyzine flipbook and liveworksheets for student worksheets, after completion of the e-module design, it was assessed by material, media and language and design validators using an instrument in the form of a validation questionnaire. The e-module was then tested on a small group to see the level of practicality of the product using the teacher and student response sheet instrument. The sheets were then analyzed using the percentage validation and practicality formulas. Data collection was obtained from the results of the validator questionnaire and student respondents. The results of the study showed that the resulting e-module was very valid with a validation score of 86% and very practical with a response percentage of educators at 100% and students at 89%. Based on the responses of the educator and student questionnaires, the e-learning module is categorized as highly practical and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and formulate the competencies and teaching strategies used and developed by teachers in managing tutoring institutions. The study was conducted at the Do'a Bunda Tutoring Institution, Bandar Lampung, using a qualitative approach and case study design. Data collection techniques include direct observation of learning activities, in-depth interviews with teachers and institutional managers, and visual documentation, which were then analyzed using thematic techniques. The results of the study indicate that tutoring teachers actively apply and develop four core teacher competencies, namely pedagogical, personality, social, and professional. Pedagogical competence is reflected in the teacher's ability to adjust learning methods and materials to students' learning styles; personality competence is seen in a patient, consistent, and empathetic attitude towards students; social competence is demonstrated through open communication with students and parents, while professional competence is seen in mastery of the material and the use of varied and contextual learning strategies. The teaching strategies used are adaptive, creative, and student-centered, creating a comfortable and productive learning atmosphere. These findings indicate that tutoring teachers can become agents of transformation in non-formal education if they have a deep understanding of their role. The implications of this research not only contribute to improving the quality of learning in tutoring but also emphasize the need for continuous teacher competency training so that the quality of alternative education is increasingly optimal and responsive to students' learning needs.

Abstract

The problem of food waste has become a global issue that impacts economic, environmental, and social aspects. Indonesia is one of the countries with the highest levels of food waste, with around 41.4% of national waste in 2021 originating from food waste. In urban centers like Palembang, the rapid growth of population and urbanization contribute to increased food waste. Generation Z, representing about 24.34% of Indonesia's population, is identified as the age group that produces the most food waste. This research aims to explore the perceptions of Generation Z in Palembang City towards food waste, the factors influencing their behaviors, and the challenges they face. Using a descriptive quantitative method with purposive sampling, data were collected through online questionnaires and analyzed with descriptive statistics. The findings reveal that while Gen Z in Palembang is aware of the environmental and economic impacts of food waste, behavioral gaps persist due to impulsive buying, difficulties in portion estimation, and the influence of food delivery promotions. Efforts to reduce waste, such as proper food storage and reprocessing leftovers, have begun, but challenges persist. The study emphasizes the significance of targeted educational interventions, policy innovations, and community-based campaigns in promoting sustainable food consumption behaviors among Gen Z in Palembang
