Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is one of the subjects that has a vital role in shaping the character, morality and spirituality of students in Indonesia. However, the challenge of increasing students' interest in Islamic learning is still the main focus in curriculum development in this country. One of the latest efforts to improve the quality of learning is the implementation of the Independent Curriculum which gives schools and teachers more freedom in designing and implementing learning that is more relevant to student needs. This research aims to explore the impact of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum on students' interest in learning, especially in PAI learning. The research method used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through classroom observations, interviews with PAI teachers, and analysis of documents related to the curriculum. The sample for this research consisted of class The research results show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum positively influences students' interest in learning towards PAI. The flexibility provided by the Merdeka Curriculum allows teachers to use more innovative and interesting approaches in teaching, such as the use of interactive learning media and project-based learning methods. In addition, students' active participation in planning and evaluating learning also increases their sense of ownership of the learning process. However, there are several obstacles faced in implementing the Independent Curriculum, such as limited resources and lack of training for teachers in adapting the new curriculum. Therefore, greater support is needed from schools, government and related institutions to improve the quality and success of implementing the Independent Curriculum in PAI learning.

Abstract

The TikTok Marriage is Scary trend can have a negative impact on Gen Z. The existence of content containing negative narratives causes problems for Gen Z in the form of anxiety. This study aims to determine the impact of the TikTok Marriage is Scary trend on Gen Z in viewing marriage. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data collected through interviews and analysis of videos and comments. Informants in this study were selected by purposive sampling with the following criteria: 13-28 years old (Gen Z), actively using the TikTok application and have seen or been exposed to Marriage is Scary content. The results showed that the TikTok Marriage is Scary trend had an impact on Gen Z's anxiety, stress levels and confidence in marriage. This is further exacerbated by Gen Z's lack of literacy, as well as policy provisions from the TikTok platform that have not been able to select content uploaded on social media. This finding shows the importance of digital literacy so that Gen Z is able to respond to negative content more wisely.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi coping individu dalam menghadapi peralihan profesi akibat perubahan fungsi lahan dari pertanian ke Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (KIW) di Semarang. Pembangunan industri yang mendorong investasi dan lapangan kerja juga menimbulkan dampak sosial, ekonomi, dan psikologis bagi warga sekitar. Para petani beralih profesi menjadi buruh industri atau pekerja informal karena berkurangnya lahan dan ketidakstabilan hasil panen. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif eksploratif dan wawancara mendalam terhadap dua partisipan terdampak, ditemukan dua strategi coping utama: problem-focused coping (mencari pekerjaan baru dan informasi) dan emotion-focused coping (spiritualitas dan dukungan sosial). Industrialisasi membawa penghasilan rutin namun juga kecemasan akan masa depan dan hilangnya identitas agraris. Spiritualitas dan penerimaan diri menjadi kunci adaptasi psikologis, namun dominasi emotion-focused coping tanpa dukungan sistemik berpotensi menyebabkan stagnasi sosial. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya pemahaman holistik dan rekomendasi studi lanjut dengan sampel lebih luas serta peran pemerintah dalam mendukung kesejahteraan warga.

Abstract

Dukungan sosial komunitas IKSI ternyata memiliki makna yang penting bagi mahasiswa Sulawesi di perantauan. Adanya komunitas ini memberikan dukungan emosional, instrumental, informasional dan persahabatan yang berbasis identitas kultural sehingga membantu mahasiswa menyesuaikan diri dengan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami makna dukungan sosial yang diberikan komunitas IKSI bagi mahasiswa perantauan asal Sulawesi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi interpretatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria mahasiswa UIN Walisongo Semarang yang berasal dari Sulawesi dan tergabung dalam komunitas IKSI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dari IKSI tidak hanya membantu mahasiswa dalam aspek praktis dan emosional, tetapi juga memberikan rasa nyaman,aman dan “rumah” bagi mereka di perantauan. Dukungan persahabatan yang diperkuat identitas kultural terbukti berperan dalam menjaga ikatan emosional dan identitas budaya mahasiswa. Temuan ini memperkuat teori buffering effect dan sense of community, sekaligus memberikan sumbangan praktis bagi kampus dan komunitas untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih suportif bagi mahasiswa perantauan.
