Abstract

This research aims to analyze the evaluation instruments for sentence structure (tarkib) and vocabulary (mufrodat) in the Arabic language textbook for ninth grade published by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, section al-Haflu bi maulidi ar-Rasul ﷺ. The approach used is qualitative descriptive and content analysis to assess the alignment of the questions with the theory formulated by Muhammad A’li Al-Khuli in his book Al-Ikhtibaarot Al-Lughowiyyah. This research uses the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and verification to obtain valid and systematic findings. The research results reveal that the details of the analyzed questions can be classified into categories of question items as outlined in the book Al-Ikhtibaarot Al-Lughowiyyah, showing a combination of various types of question items. Out of a total of 51 items, there are 31 items of composition and vocabulary according to the evaluation categories formulated by Muhammad A’li Al-Khuli in Al-Ikhtibaarot Al-Lughowiyyah, 26 composition items and 5 vocabulary items, while the rest do not conform to the evaluation categories according to Muhammad A’li Al-Khuli in his book. This study emphasizes the importance of developing evaluation instruments that are in accordance with linguistic theory to be effective in measuring the achievement of student competencies in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep manthuq dan mafhum dalam Al-Qur'an, yang mencakup makna tersurat (manthuq) dan makna tersirat (mafhum). Manthuq merujuk pada makna eksplisit dari lafaz ayat, sedangkan mafhum adalah makna implisit yang membutuhkan analisis lebih lanjut. Studi ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, mengacu pada sumber primer seperti kitab-kitab tafsir dan sumber sekunder berupa artikel jurnal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manthuq terbagi menjadi dua jenis utama, yaitu manthuq sarih dan manthuq ghair al-sarih, sementara mafhum terdiri dari mafhum muwafaqah dan mafhum mukhalafah. Kedua konsep ini memiliki peran signifikan dalam memperluas pemahaman terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an, khususnya dalam konteks ijtihad hukum Islam. Dengan memahami manthuq dan mafhum, pengambilan hukum menjadi lebih komprehensif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan kontemporer, sehingga memperkokoh posisi Al-Qur'an sebagai pedoman utama umat Islam.

Abstract

Pengembangan kurikulum bahasa Arab memerlukkan analisis kebutuhan yang sistematis agar pembelajaran yang dihasilkan relevan dengan tuntutan perkembangan zama, kebutuhan peserta didik, dan tujuan institusi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah analisis kebutuhan dalam pengembangan kurikulum bahasa Arab sebagai fondasi penyusunan tujuan, materi, metode, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan studi kepustakaan (library research)karena penelitian ini menekankan kajian teori yang telah berkembang, sehingga memberikan landasan argument yang kuat dan menyeluruh. Studi kepustakaan ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui penelaahan jurnal, buku, dan literatur terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa analisis kebutuhan mencakup tahapan identifikasi tujuan kurikulum, pengumpulan data kebutuhan melalui berbagai instrumen, analisis kesenjangan antara kondisi aktual dan ideal, penyusunan rekomendasi pengembangan kurikulum, validasi instrumen analisis, serta implementasi dan eavaluasi hasil. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa analisis kebutuhan bukan sekedar prosedur administrtif, melainkan langkah strategis untuk memastikan kurikulum bahasa Arab bersifat adaptif, kontekstual, dan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi linguistik serta karakter peserta didik. Dengan demikian, kurikulum yang dikembangkan akan lebih efektif dalam menjawab tantangan pendidikan modren dan tuntutan global.
