Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of student management that has been applied through extracurricular activities. The research was conducted using several research instruments, such as observation, interviews, distribution of questionnaires and documentation. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of extracurricular activities in improving non-academic achievements, especially since many students are currently less interested in participating in extracurricular activities. The subjects of the research included the principal, extracurricular activity supervisors, and students from grades V, V, and VI, with 15 students selected from each grade. The research was conducted at SDN Jaddih over a period of approximately 1 month. From the research, it was found that there is an effectiveness of extracurricular activities at SDN Jaddih 5 in improving non-academic achievements. SDN Jaddih 5 successfully became the overall champion in the scouting competition. In addition, students benefit from the existence of these extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru dalam membangun hubungan sosial anak berkebutuhan khusus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru SLB PGRI Kamal Bangkalan. Proses pengumpulan data dilaksanakan pada hari Selasa, 6 Mei 2025, dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis, diringkas, dikaitkan dengan penelitian sebelumnya, dan disajikan dalam bentuk narasi deskriptif tanpa melibatkan angka-angka statistik. Sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya, bahwa anak berkebutuhan khusus memiliki kesulitan dalam berhubungan sosial. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, hubungan sosial anak berkebutuhan khusus semakin meningkat karena ada upaya-upaya yang dilakukan guru. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, guru memiliki peran penting dalam membangun hubungan sosial anak berkebutuhan khusus. Strategi dan pendekatan yang diterapkan maupun apresiasi yang diberikan dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak, kenyamanan dalam bergaul, serta menunjukkan empati kepada teman-temannya. Strategi, pendekatan, dan apresiasi yang diciptakan guru akan lebih optimal apabila ada keterlibatan dari orang tua.

Abstract

This This research was conducted at Elementary School Bulak Rukem I/258 Surabaya. The study examines the effectiveness of using the Nearpod application as a learning tool for the topic of plant parts in class IV-A, the improvement in pre-test and post-test results, and student responses. During the research, data was collected through pre-tests, post-tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The methods used were quantitative, including N-Gain tests, normality tests, and non-parametric Wilcoxon tests. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the Nearpod application is effective for teaching the topic of plant parts in science, as shown by the N-Gain test results of 0.3 ≤ 0.6866 ≤ 0.7. Subsequently, a normality test revealed that the data produced was not normal, indicated by the significance values of both the pre-test and post-test being < 0.05. Then, a non-parametric Wilcoxon test was conducted, yielding an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in the data. The questionnaire results showed that 85% of students responded positively to the Nearpod application for the Science topic of plant parts.
