Abstract

This study examines citizenship as a constitutional right in Indonesia, focusing on the foundational principles of citizenship, the roles of state institutions, challenges in the enforcement of rights, and relevant case studies. The research employs a doctrinal legal methodology with a normative approach, incorporating legislative, case law, conceptual, historical, and comparative perspectives. Data is collected from primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources through a literature review. The analysis reveals that the foundational principles of citizenship are enshrined in the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia (UUD 1945), which includes the right to participate in government, the right to decent work, and other social rights. State institutions such as the President, the People's Consultative Assembly (DPR), and the judiciary play crucial roles in the enforcement of constitutional rights. However, several challenges persist, including human rights violations, injustices within the legal system, and barriers to political participation. Case studies related to administrative issues in the 2024 elections, human rights violations in Papua, and the controversy surrounding the Omnibus Law on Job Creation illustrate practical issues in the implementation of constitutional rights.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk individu yang seimbang antara pengetahuan ilmiah dan nilai-nilai agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hakikat, landasan, prinsip, struktur, dan implementasi kurikulum pendidikan Islam dalam konteks kekinian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research), di mana data dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber tertulis seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan dokumen resmi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik analisis isi (content analysis) untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam dan sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum pendidikan Islam memiliki landasan filosofis yang kuat, berorientasi pada integrasi ilmu agama dan ilmu umum, serta dirancang secara holistik melalui pendekatan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Implementasi kurikulum ini menghadapi tantangan, terutama dalam hal pemahaman pendidik terhadap nilai-nilai dan karakter Islam. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam yang relevan dan aplikatif sesuai dengan kebutuhan zaman.

Abstract

This This research was conducted at Elementary School Bulak Rukem I/258 Surabaya. The study examines the effectiveness of using the Nearpod application as a learning tool for the topic of plant parts in class IV-A, the improvement in pre-test and post-test results, and student responses. During the research, data was collected through pre-tests, post-tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The methods used were quantitative, including N-Gain tests, normality tests, and non-parametric Wilcoxon tests. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the Nearpod application is effective for teaching the topic of plant parts in science, as shown by the N-Gain test results of 0.3 ≤ 0.6866 ≤ 0.7. Subsequently, a normality test revealed that the data produced was not normal, indicated by the significance values of both the pre-test and post-test being < 0.05. Then, a non-parametric Wilcoxon test was conducted, yielding an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in the data. The questionnaire results showed that 85% of students responded positively to the Nearpod application for the Science topic of plant parts.
