Abstract

Improving critical reading skills is considered important in today's education. One promising approach in this regard is the collaborative learning method. The purpose of this study is to find out how effective collaborative learning is in improving students' critical reading skills at An-Annadhliyyah Sooko. The research was conducted using descriptive analysis method, in which data was collected through observation, interview, and document analysis. The results showed that students' critical reading skills, their desire to learn, and their social skills had all been improved when collaborative learning methods were used. Nonetheless, some challenges such as time management and the development of teachers' facilitation skills need to be addressed. To improve student achievement and learning quality in the future, schools and teachers should continue to encourage and improve the application of collaborative learning methods.

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of the formation of toxic language, morphological studies used by streamers of the online game Mobile Legend. This research aims to analyze the formation of toxic language which is often used when streamers play games on Bang Pascol's Top Global Miya YouTube channel. This research uses descriptive and analytical methods in the pronunciation of toxic language in YouTube content to obtain data. The results showed that toxic words, such as "stupid," "bujang inam," "dog," "cok," "tai," "pig," "pantek," "idiot," "fool," and "son of a bitch" ," has diverse origins and strong negative connotations. All of these words fall into the monomorphemic category, meaning they cannot be divided without losing meaning, and are often used to express anger, ridicule, or demean others.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa di MTS An-Nadhliyyah. Keterampilan berbicara merupakan elemen penting dalam komunikasi yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa, namun banyak yang mengalami kesulitan, seperti rasa percaya diri yang rendah dan kesulitan bertutur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan narrative inquiry, melibatkan wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap siswa dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang efektif meliputi penggunaan permainan, diskusi, dan tugas presentasi yang mendorong interaksi aktif. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti waktu terbatas dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri siswa, penerapan metode yang tepat dapat membantu mengatasi masalah tersebut. Penggunaan media teknologi juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar guru terus mengembangkan pendekatan kreatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa.
