Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the MEA and STAD learning models on student learning outcomes in Religious Education (PAI) at SMA Negeri 10 Bandar Lampung. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sampling technique employed is probability sampling, specifically simple random sampling, where classes are randomly selected without considering their grade levels. The instrument used in this study is a multiple-choice test. Class X.1 serves as the control group, while classes X.5 and X.7 are the experimental groups. The results of this study show that the normality test yielded a value of 0.00 < 0.05, indicating that the data is not normally distributed. Therefore, a non-parametric test was conducted using the Mann-Whitney test, with results of 1.00 for the MEA model and 0.007 for the STAD model. The homogeneity test yielded a result of 0.407 > 0.05, indicating that the data is homogeneous. The hypothesis test using one-way ANOVA yielded a result of 0.376 > 0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning there is no significant effect of the MEA and STAD learning models on student learning outcomes. This study offers a new contribution by comparing two learning models that have been more commonly applied to mathematics subjects rather than PAI. Additionally, this research responds to issues in education such as low learning motivation and the lack of innovative teaching models, with the hope of contributing to the field of education, particularly in Religious Education (PAI).

Abstract

This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of the implementation of the independent learning curriculum on the critical thinking ability of students at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is a quantitative approach with Expost-Facto research methods.The population is all grade VIII students at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung which consists of 462 people. Sampling was carried out using random sampling techniques. The sample used was 46 people. The data collection techniques used are questionnaire dissemination, observation and documentation. So that the data to be obtained is quantitative data. Primary data was obtained directly from the distribution of questionnaires from respondents in the field. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from observations, documentation, and theories from literature, background documentation, and school activities at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung. The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant influence in the implementation of the independent learning curriculum on the critical thinking ability of students at MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung, which can be seen in the calculation of the correlation coefficient and the T test. So that from the acquisition of R calculation with a positive value and the acquisition of a Tvalue of 4.261 compared to Ttable 1.678, so that the Tcount > Ttable, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, which means that there is a positive and significant influence.

Abstract

The learning process can be effective and efficient by planning the learning process, implementing the learning process, assessing learning outcomes, and monitoring the learning process. Therefore, every educational institution is obliged to organize an interactive, enjoyable, challenging, and motivating learning process for students to be active and creative. The use of appropriate learning methods can create learning conditions that allow students to learn actively. One interesting learning method is the team quiz method which is easy for students to understand and makes them happy and enthusiastic during the learning process. The aim of this research is to find out the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the team quiz method in Islamic religious education subjects for grade VII students at SMPN 31 Bandar Lampung.This study uses field research. The method used is descriptive qualitative, involving one teacher and grade VII students at SMPN 31 Bandar Lampung. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed qualitatively using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data was checked using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Team Quiz method in Islamic Religious Education subjects for grade VII students at SMPN 31 Bandar Lampung involves three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, the teacher must prepare everything for the learning process; in the implementation stage, the teacher applies the method; and in the evaluation stage, the teacher assesses the entire learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Research "The Role of Al-Qur'an Hadith Teachers Towards Students Who Have Difficulty Reading the Qur'an at MTs Al-Ma'mur Banjarsari Tanggamus". This study aims to determine the role of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in overcoming students who have difficulty reading the Qur'an in class VII MTs Al-Ma'mur Banjarsari Tanggamus. The background of this study is that there are still many students who are not able to read the Qur'an properly, especially in terms of pronouncing the hijaiyah letters and applying the laws of tajwid. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers have a very important role, not only as teachers but also as guides, motivators, and facilitators. Teachers use various strategies such as providing motivation, creating a comfortable learning atmosphere, providing remedial learning, using varied learning media, and conducting periodic evaluations to improve student abilities. The obstacles faced include limited time, learning facilities, and differences in student ability levels. However, teachers are able to overcome these obstacles with an individual approach and methods that are tailored to student characteristics. In conclusion, the active role of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers is very influential in helping students overcome difficulties in reading the Qur'an, thus supporting the achievement of Islamic education goals in forming a generation that is knowledgeable and has noble character.
