Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that learning conditions in the digital era must be supported by digital media, while the use of digital media in learning is still limited due to several obstacles faced by teachers.. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs of elementary school teachers for SAC-based android application learning media. The research method used a survey with a google form instrument involving 246 elementary school teacher participants from West Java, Central Java and Banten. Data analysis is carried out automatically by google form so that results are obtained in the form of the number and percentage of participants which are visualized in the form of a pie chart and then interpreted into percentage categories and described qualitatively. The results showed that: 1) more than half of the participants already knew the android application learning media, and stated that the android application was appropriate and effective to be used as a learning medium, but less than half of the participants had never made android application media, 2) a small number of participants had known and had seen SAC products, but more than half had the desire to know more about SAC. From these results, it can be concluded that 1) It is necessary to develop a lot of digital learning media such as SAC-based android applications so that they can be used by teachers in teaching, 2) Teachers need to upgrade their knowledge and skills in the use of technology for learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Android bernama CENDANI sebagai solusi atas permasalahan pembelajaran Asmaul Husna di sekolah dasar yang masih banyak disampaikan secara konvensional tanpa media pendukung yang menarik, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya minat dan pemahaman siswa. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan metode penelitian DnD dengan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, dan validasi ahli. Hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan kelayakan sebesar 98% dan ahli media sebesar 100%. Uji coba terhadap siswa menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi CENDANI mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dengan hasil observasi mencapai 97%. Evaluasi melalui angket juga menunjukkan respons sangat positif, dengan nilai rata-rata 56 dari skala 60 dan persentase 93,3%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran CENDANI sangat efektif, layak digunakan, dan mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan serta pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Asmaul Husna. Aplikasi ini dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang mendukung tujuan pendidikan agama di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The ability of teachers to make digital learning tools is one of the competencies that must be mastered, namely pedagogic competence and professional competence. Elementary Islamic Religious Education teachers must be able to create innovative learning media as a necessity for teaching in this digital era. Improving teachers' innovation abilities can be done independently or officially through training. The training on making SAC learning media is one of the efforts to increase teacher innovation. This training was attended by 44 participants consisting of elementary Islamic Religious Education teachers in Sumedang. The training lasted for 32 hours of learning which was carried out in offline and online mode. Through this training, the results of elementary school Islamic Religious Education teachers were obtained: 1) able to improve their innovation ability in making learning media armed with training materials about Applications as learning media and application design materials, 2) able to use SAC to make android application learning media armed with instructions from instructors during online meetings, training modules volumes 1-7 and video tutorials for making SAC-based android applications. Through this training, it can be recommended to teachers to improve the ability to innovate in learning, one of which is by mastering SAC as an application to create android application learning media.
