Abstract

This study applies the Team Games Tournament learning model assisted by jellyfish media in Mathematics learning. This study uses the type of Quasy Experimental Design research. The population in this study were all students of SDN 02 Timpehand the samples were two classes, namely class lVA and lVB totaling 32 students. The data collection technique was taken usingpretest and posttest sheets which were calculated and compared based on the criteria and analyzed with normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests through SPSS 20 at a level of 0.05. While the data collection technique was taken using atest sheet and then analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests through SPSS 20 at a level of 0.05. Theresults of data analysis from the hypothesis test on the independent sample t test with a significance level of 0.05 showed theresults of sig. (2-tailed) smaller than Ha, so Ho was rejected. While the results of the test data analysis from the hypothesis test onthe independent sample t test with a significance level of 0.05 showed the results of sig. (2 tailed) smaller than a, so Ho wasrejected. Based on the results of the analysis of observation data and test data, it can be concluded that the team gamestournament learning model has a significant influence on the learning outcomes of Mathematics in grade IV of ElementarySchool

Abstract

This research is based on the lack of optimal understanding of teachers in understanding formative assessments in Indonesian subjects grade 1 SDN 15 Koto Besar. This research has a purpose. 1) Knowing the development of formative assessments of Indonesian subjects in phase A of the independent curriculum. 2) Validate the feasibility of formative assessment products. 3) Validating the practicality of formative assessment products. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development), or development research, with the ADDIE development model, (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Having several stages of development, the first is analysis, including analysis of needs, characteristics of students and curriculum. Second, the design of the preparation of formative assessments. Third, the development is carried out formative assessment validation tests. The fourth implementation is carried out by practicality test and finally evaluation in the feasibility test of formative assessment preduk.         This development research obtained the results of a validation test by two expert validators with an average score of 93.5% of the very valid category, a practicality test conducted by a grade 1 homeroom teacher with an average score of 93.75% of the very practical category. The results of the trial were seen from the student response questionnaire obtaining an average score of 95.8%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the formative assessment of Indonesian subjects in the independent curriculum for grade 1 of SDN 15 Koto Besar is valid and practical.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perception of teachers and students towards the use of Wordwall media in learning English vocabulary. Wordwall is one of the interactive digital learning media designed to make the learning process more interesting and fun. In this study, the author uses a qualitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews with teachers and students of eighth grade of SMPN 1 Sitiung. The data was analyzed based on three main aspects, namely the effectiveness, benefits, and challenges in using Wordwall. The results of the study showed that teachers and students had a positive perception of the use of Wordwall. Wordwall is considered to be able to increase learning motivation, student involvement, and facilitate vocabulary understanding. However, there are also challenges such as limited internet access and technical constraints. This research also contributes to the development of technology-based learning strategies that are relevant and effective in the context of English learning at the junior high school level.

Abstract

This research is based on a problem observed in the learning process, namely the lack of student enthusiasm in completing student worksheets (LKPD). The purpose of this study is to develop an E-LKPD supported by Liveworksheets for Chapter 4 of the English subject for fourth-grade students, aimed at producing a valid, practical, and effective E-LKPD that can improve student learning outcomes at SDN 13 Sitiung. The development model used is the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validation results of the E-LKPD, evaluated by five validators (graphics expert, content expert, language expert, assessment expert, and instructional module expert), yielded an average score of 86.8%, categorized as “highly valid,” indicating that the E-LKPD is suitable for use. The practicality results, assessed by a fourth-grade teacher and students, showed scores of 89.0% and 95.7% respectively, both falling into the “highly practical” category, suggesting that the E-LKPD is easy to use during the learning process. The effectiveness test results, based on a learning outcome test, showed that 85% of students achieved mastery, categorized as “highly effective,” indicating success in achieving the intended learning objectives.

Abstract

The limitation of English learning outcomes for third-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Sitiung serves as the basis for this study. The aim of this research is to examine the impact of using the Duolingo application on student achievement in this subject during the 2024/2025 academic year. The use of interactive and engaging learning media such as Duolingo is considered to have the potential to improve students' performance. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 16 third-grade students from SD Negeri 10 Sitiung as the sample. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test instrument administered before and after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the normality test, the significance value of the pretest data was 0.179 (>0.05) and the posttest data was 0.164 (>0.05). Meanwhile, the hypothesis test results using the paired samples test showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. These findings indicate that the null hypothesis (H0), which states there is no effect, is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha), which states that there is a significant effect of using the Duolingo application, is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Duolingo application has a significant effect on improving the English learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Sitiung.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of third-grade students in Indonesian language subjects, the lack of student attention and active participation during learning activities, the limited use of varied learning models, and the insufficient facilities and infrastructure that support the learning process. In the Indonesian language learning process, there is a discrepancy between expectations and reality. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 10 Pulau Punjung. This study is an experimental research employing a quasi-experimental design, specifically using the nonequivalent control group design. The research was conducted at SDN 10 Pulau Punjung. The population of this study includes all students in Class III/A and Class III/B. The sample consists of 29 students: 14 from Class III/A and 15 from Class III/B. The data collection technique used in this study is a test in the form of objective questions. The results show that the average post-test score of the control class was 80, while the experimental class scored an average of 87.2. The normality test resulted in significance values of 0.182 for the control class and 0.097 for the experimental class, indicating that both classes are normally distributed. The homogeneity test yielded a significance value of 0.957. The hypothesis testing using the Independent Samples Test showed a significance value of 0.025. Since 0.025 < 0.05, the result of the Independent Samples Test indicates that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a significant effect of implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model on the Indonesian language learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN 10 Pulau Punjung.
