Abstract

This research has the following objectives: (1) to develop formative and summative tests in grade IV elementary school science subjects; (2) improve evaluation activities in grade IV elementary school science subjects that have not been maximized, especially in formative and summative tests; (3) validate the feasibility of formative and summative test products; (4) validate the practicality of formative and summative test products. The type of research used Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data collection techniques are obtained from observations, interviews, test questionnaires and documentation. Quantitative data analysis of validity and practicality trial results. The progress of student learning outcomes in grade IV elementary school science learning has increased significantly compared to before formative and summative tests were developed. This is evidenced from the results of the educator response questionnaire sheet obtained an average value of 92.71% and student responses obtained an average value of 88.54% in the very practical category.

Abstract

In IPS learning there is plant breeding material. Regarding the material during the learning process, the teacher still lacks useful media to make it easier for students to understand abstract material. So in this study developed a website learning media based on google sites on social studies learning to overcome this problem. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media for websites based on Google Sites for social studies learning, as well as to produce valid, practical and effective media. The type of research used in this research is research and development (R&D). This development procedure refers to the development of the ADDIE model which consists of several stages, namely (1) Analysis Phase, (2) Design Stage, (3) Development Stage, after going through the development stage a validation test is carried out by 3 validators with 80% results (4) Implementation Stage, at this stage practicality tests were carried out by practitioners (teachers) and (students) with 82% results after that a video media trial was carried out with an effectiveness sheet to get 76% results by obtaining student learning outcomes, (5) Evaluation Stage (Evaluation). Based on the ADDIE procedure used in the research above, it can be concluded that the google sites-based website learning media that has been developed by researchers is feasible to use, because it meets the minimum valid, practical and effective criteria.

Abstract

The limitation of English learning outcomes for third-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Sitiung serves as the basis for this study. The aim of this research is to examine the impact of using the Duolingo application on student achievement in this subject during the 2024/2025 academic year. The use of interactive and engaging learning media such as Duolingo is considered to have the potential to improve students' performance. This study adopts a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 16 third-grade students from SD Negeri 10 Sitiung as the sample. Data were collected using a multiple-choice test instrument administered before and after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the normality test, the significance value of the pretest data was 0.179 (>0.05) and the posttest data was 0.164 (>0.05). Meanwhile, the hypothesis test results using the paired samples test showed a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. These findings indicate that the null hypothesis (H0), which states there is no effect, is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha), which states that there is a significant effect of using the Duolingo application, is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Duolingo application has a significant effect on improving the English learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri 10 Sitiung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS siswa Kelas VA. Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning yang dipadukan dengan platform aplikasi canva untuk membuat proyek yang kreatif dan menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan canva pada hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 03 Tiumang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest design dengan populasi sebanyak 22 siswa kelas VA di SD Negeri 03 Tiumang. Data hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari nilai tes. Nilai rata-rata pretest siswa sebesar 60,23 menjadi 84,77 setelah diberikan perlakuan. Data dianalisis dengan uji normalitas shapiro wilk yang memperoleh nilai sig. pretest sebesar 0,341 dan posttest sebesar 0,053 > 0,05 maka data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji paired sample t-test memperoleh nilai sig.2-tailed sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan canva pada hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 03 Tiumang.

Abstract

Speaking skill in learning English for class VII students at SMPN 08 Tebo is still low. This research aims to improve students' English speaking skills through the pair-work method for class VII students at SMPN 08 TEBO in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was conducted by using classroom action research which contained planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were class VII students at SMPN 08 TEBO. The class consisted of 29; 21 men and 9 women. Then the research data was through quantitative data. Quantitative data was obtained from tasks and tests. Students' speaking skills tasks scores are obtained in each cycle. Meanwhile, the test was obtained at the end of each cycle. The results of the exercises in cycles 1 to 2 show that the pair-work method can improve students' speaking skills. In the first cycle of the first meeting, the score of students who achieved the KKTP was 31%, and increased at the second meeting to 55%. Furthermore, in cycle 2, meeting 1, the student's speaking skill score was 62% and the student's speaking skill score at meeting 2 in cycle 2 rose to 83%. Then, in the test results in the first cycle, the results of the students' speaking skills were 62%. Then in the 2nd cycle 2 test it rose to 83%. It can be said that the pair-work method can be used to improve students' ability to speak English, especially for class VII students at SMPN 08 TEBO for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Effective communication in a foreign language is essential for a student's development. However, many students find it difficult to speak due to limited vocabulary, fear of mispronunciation, or lack of interest in English classes. To overcome these challenges, researchers used audiovisual media as a teaching tool to improve students' speaking skills. This study was conducted in the second semester of Class VIII of SMPN 5 Limbur Lubuk Mengkuang in 2024 using the pre-experimental method and group pre-test-post-test design. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase, with the average pre-test score increasing from 43.20 to 75.40 post-test after using audiovisual aids. Hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test obtained a two-sided significance value of 0.00 which indicated a significant difference between the results of the treatment before and after audiovisual. It can be concluded that the integration of audiovisual media improves the speaking skills of class VIII students of SMPN 5 Limbur Lubuk Mengkuang positively and significantly.

Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika masih banyak yang belum mencapai hasil yang sangat memuaskan, hal ini karena kurangnya teknik yang diharapkan untuk membantu proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model problrm based learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar matematika kelas IV SD Negeri 09 Sitiung. Jenis penelitian eksperimen ini berbentuk Quasi Eksperimental Design Penelitian ini di bagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang di gunakan adalah Tes soal esay, Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah pre-test dan post test dengan membandingkan hasil akhir (post-test) siswa. Peneliti menggunakan uji paired samples t test. Uji paired samples t test bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh atau tidak terhadap  model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 09 Sitiung.Signifikansi dari uji paired samples t test yaitu 0,000<0,05 artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model Problem Based Learning ( PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa mauatan Mamtematika materi bangun datar SDN 09 Sitiung.
