Abstract

The component of language development in children that is uninteresting and less fascinating is what prompted this research to be conducted. In addition, kids frequently struggle when it comes to effectively communicating with their peers, instructors, and the world around them. The approach of role playing is the answer that will allow you to overcome this obstacle. This study will use the approach of role playing to investigate the speaking abilities of primary school pupils in order to determine how well they can communicate. Learning materials may be mastered via the use of the role playing approach, which involves students acting out the roles of inanimate objects and living things. This helps students develop their imaginations and appreciation for the subject matter. The research is conducted using a procedure known as a literature review, which involves looking at a variety of library sources that are pertinent to the subject of the study. According to the findings of the research, the method of role acting has the potential to enhance the acquisition of Indonesian by primary school pupils in terms of their speaking abilities. For the purpose of this study, a literature evaluation of publications published during the past five years was conducted, and a total of fifteen articles that fulfilled the requirements were collected.

Abstract

This research analyze public perceptions of Archives majors in higher education through a qualitative approach with a content analysis method. Data were obtained from the responses of ten Quora platform user accounts related to views on job prospects, specialization, and relevance of the Archiving major. The results showed that public perception of this major tends to be neutral to positive. The parameters “tone” and “competent” obtained the highest mean scores, each at 2.3, reflecting that the majority of responses were delivered in a supportive manner and by competent parties. However, the parameters “narrative” and “image” remained at an average score of 2, indicating that the public perception of the Archives major is not yet fully strong. The results show that the archives major should be seen as a relevant and strategic field in the digital age. These results underscore the importance of effective communication strategies, improved information literacy, and collaboration between students, professionals, and educational institutions.

Abstract

Syntactic studies in modern linguistics have undergone significant development, particularly in their application to mass media as a means of public communication. However, various spelling errors are still found in news writing, reflecting a lack of adherence to the rules of the Indonesian language as outlined in the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). This article aims to analyze spelling errors in mass media news and examine their implications for Indonesian syntax. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study identifies common types of spelling errors, such as the use of capital letters, writing of loanwords, and punctuation. The results of the analysis show that spelling errors in mass media can affect syntactic structure and readers' understanding of the information conveyed. Therefore, it is essential for writers and editors in the media to understand and apply correct spelling rules in order to maintain language quality in public communication.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the various issues faced by elementary school (SD) students in solving problem-solving tasks in mathematics through a literature review approach. Problem-solving is one of the essential skills in mathematics learning, closely linked to higher-order thinking abilities. However, several research findings indicate that many elementary school students struggle to understand and solve problem-solving tasks. This study collects and analyzes various literature sources, including national journals, scientific articles, and relevant reference books. The findings reveal that common issues faced by students include: (1) insufficient understanding of basic mathematical concepts, (2) difficulties in reading and understanding word problems, (3) limitations in formulating problem-solving strategies, and (4) lack of reflection and evaluation skills regarding the obtained answers. In addition to the internal factors of students, external aspects such as less contextual teaching approaches, limited use of engaging learning media, and insufficient support from the learning environment also contribute to these problems. This study recommends strengthening a systematic and adaptive problem-solving-based learning approach from an early age to enhance students' critical thinking abilities in mathematics.
