Abstract

This study analyzes the use of Madurese suffixes in short stories written by students of Pondok Pesantren Fathul Mu'ien, Jember. The research focuses on the application of seven types of Madurese suffixes, namely {-e}, {-a}, {-an}, {-en}, {-na}, {-ana}, and {-aghi}, within verbs, nouns, and adjectives. A descriptive qualitative method with a morphological analysis approach was employed. Data were collected through documentation of the students' short story works. The results show that Madurese suffixes contribute unique morphophonemic nuances, such as emphasis, possession, and action indication. Furthermore, the use of suffixes reflects the students' creativity in utilizing the Madurese language as a medium of literary expression. These findings emphasize the significant role of morphology in preserving cultural heritage and enriching Indonesia's linguistic studies. This research is expected to serve as a reference in linguistic and regional literature studies, particularly regarding the development of the Madurese language in contemporary literary works.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of active and passive sentences in the Bahasa Indonesia: Aku Bisa! textbook used in Grade 1 of elementary school under the Merdeka Curriculum. Textbooks play an important role in the learning process, particularly as examples of proper and correct language use for students. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using documentation techniques to identify and analyze sentence structures based on appropriate linguistic rules. The main focus of the study is to reveal the forms of active and passive sentences used, and to assess their accuracy in terms of structure and appropriateness for young learners' language development. The findings show that some sentences are structurally inaccurate, overly complex, or misaligned with the cognitive development of first-grade students. Such issues can hinder students' understanding of the learning material. Therefore, editing is necessary to simplify and correct sentence structures so that they are more communicative and easier to understand. This study emphasizes the importance of the editing process in textbook development to ensure high linguistic quality, support effective learning, and align with the principles of the student-centered Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) merupakan kebijakan pemerintah yang bertujuan memenuhi kebutuhan gizi peserta didik sekaligus meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas Program Makan Bergizi Gratis dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik ditinjau dari kualitas makanan, kepuasan, dan efektivitas pelaksanaan program. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-verifikatif dan desain explanatory survey. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner skala Likert lima poin yang disebarkan kepada 46 peserta didik penerima Program MBG. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, dan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas makanan, kepuasan terhadap pelaksanaan program, serta motivasi belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori baik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan peserta didik dan efektivitas program berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar, sedangkan kualitas makanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik lebih dipengaruhi oleh kepuasan dan efektivitas pelaksanaan program dibandingkan kualitas makanan semata. Oleh karena itu, optimalisasi pengelolaan dan pelaksanaan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis perlu terus dilakukan agar tujuan program dapat tercapai secara maksimal.
