Abstract

The Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Correctional Institution (Lapas) as part of the judicial system in Indonesia, which carries out a series of tasks and functions mandated by law, faces several issues related to knowledge management due to the work rotation process of each employee working in the correctional institution. The knowledge possessed by each correctional officer, derived from individual skills and experiences, seems to be personally isolated and is carried away along with the transfer of the respective employee's duties. A knowledge management system is seen as a solution to address the problems faced, so in this research, the author attempts to descriptively explain the effective strategies to use, as well as the challenges and benefits in the process of implementing a knowledge management system. The method used in this research is a literature study by utilizing various pieces of literature with similar research topics to be analyzed comprehensively, which can then be used to support ideas and propositions in the study. The research results show that a combinative approach of codification and personalization strategies can optimize the implementation of a knowledge management system, considering several challenges that potentially hinder the implementation process to achieve optimal results and benefits for the organization.ABSTRAKUnit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) sebagai bagian dari sistem peradilan di Indonesia yang mengemban serangkaian tugas dan fungsi yang diamanahkan oleh Undang-Undang mengahadapi beberapa permasalahan terkait pengelolaan pengetahuan yang diakibatkan dari proses rotasi kerja dari setiap pegawai yang bertugas di lembaga pemasyarakatan. Pengetahuan setiap petugas pemasyarakatan yang bersumber dari keterampilan dan pengalaman individu seolah terisolasi secara personal dan akan terbawa seiring pemindahan tugas pegawai yang bersangkutan. Sistem manajemen pengetahuan dipandang sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi sehingga didalam penelitian ini, penulis mencoba menjelaskan secara deskriptif mengenai strategi yang efektif untuk digunakan serta tantangan dan manfaat dalam proses penerapan sistem manajemen pengetahuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan studi pustaka dengan memanfaatkan berbagai literatur dengan topik penelitian sejenis untuk dianalisis secara komprehensif agar kemudian dapat digunakan dalam mendukung gagasan dan proposisi dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa pendekatan kombinatif dari strategi kodifikasi dan strategi personalisasi dapat mengoptimalkan penerapan sistem manajemen pengetahuan dengan memperhatikan beberapa tantangan yang berpotensi mengganggu proses implementasi agar dapat mendapatkan hasil dan manfaat yang optimal bagi organisasi.

Abstract

The adoption of communication and information technology has a strategic role in realizing the vision and mission of an organization. The adoption of ICT can have a good influence on employee performance.  Correctional service is one of the aspects of life that also requires an improvement in ICT capabilities, one of which is through the adoption of ICT. The Correctional Technical Implementation Unit is required to always develop in order to meet the goals of corrections. Correctional institutions are expected to adopt ICT to improve the performance of officers. Often, the adoption of ICT in Correctional Institutions does not go as expected. In addition, the adoption of ICT also does not last long. The purpose of this study is to determine Critical Success Factors related to technology adoption in Tangerang Class I Correctional Institution. The TOE framework was used in this study because environmental factors were considered to have a great influence on the place of the case study. This study uses a qualitative-quantitative method (mixed method) with interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires as research instruments. The data obtained from the questionnaire was processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results of the study show that the three Critical Success Factors that are the main keys to the success of technology adoption in Tangerang Class I Correctional Institution are Government Support, Culture, and Top Management Support.ABSTRAKAdopsi teknologi komunikasi dan informasi memiliki peran yang strategis dalam mewujudkan visi serta misi sebuah organisasi. Adopsi TIK dapat memberikan pengaruh baik terhadap kinerja pegawai.  Pemasyarakatan merupakan salah satu aspek kehidupan yang juga memerlukan peningkatan dalam kapabilitas TIK yang salah satunya melalui adopsi TIK. Unit Pelaksana Teknis Pemasyarakatan dituntut untuk selalu berkembang dalam rangka memenuhi tujuan pemasyarakatan. Lembaga Pemasyarakatan diharapkan dapat melakukan adopsi TIK untuk meningkatkan kinerja petugas. Seringkali, adopsi TIK pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan tidak berjalan sesuai harapan. Selain itu, adopsi TIK juga tidak bertahan lama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan Critical Success Factor terkait adopsi teknologi pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Tangerang. TOE framework digunakan pada penelitian ini karena faktor environment dianggap memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap tempat studi kasus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-kuantitatif (metode campuran) dengan wawancara, studi literatur, dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data yang didapatkan dari kuesioner diolah menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga Critical Success Factor yang menjadi kunci utama keberhasilan adopsi teknologi pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Tangerang adalah Government Support, Culture, dan Top Management Support.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction among Probation Officers. This research is based on field observations, particularly at Bapas Class I Tangerang. Although most employees do not explicitly report any issues, they often work overtime beyond regular hours, indicating that stress might be a factor affecting their job satisfaction. Bapas Class I Tangerang has unique characteristics as a correctional institution dealing with high-risk situations, including managing inmates with serious criminal backgrounds and children involved in legal issues, which affects job stress levels among its employees. Using a quantitative correlational design, this study aims to investigate the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction among probation officers. The study sample consists of 31 Probation Officers selected purposively. The results revealed a significant negative correlation between job stress and job satisfaction (r = -.392, p<.01), with an R-Squared value of .154. These findings highlight the relationship between job stress and job satisfaction, where higher levels of job stress are associated with lower levels of job satisfaction among probation officers.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a behavior exhibited by students involving the delay in starting or completing tasks for irrational reasons. This can negatively impact students' academic performance and mental health. Academic procrastination is caused by several factors, one of which is social media addiction. This study aims to determine the effect of social media addiction on academic procrastination. The participants in this study were 134 eighth-grade students from SMPN. Data collection in this study utilized a social media addiction scale. The results showed that social media addiction does not affect academic procrastination (p-values > 0.05).

Abstract

Background: The process of self-meaning development among juvenile offenders in correctional facilities is crucial to their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. LPKA (Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak) serves as a rehabilitative environment for these individuals, providing educational and psychological programs. Objective: This study aims to explore how juvenile offenders in LPKA Tangerang perceive and interpret their own self-identity after participating in educational programs, and to understand the impacts of these programs on their self-perception. Method: A qualitative phenomenological approach was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews with 5 juvenile offenders who have participated in various educational programs. Data were analyzed using NVivo 12 software to identify key themes regarding self-perception changes, identity formation, and their future outlook. Results: The research found that education in LPKA plays a significant role in altering the self-meaning of juvenile offenders, fostering a more positive self-image and hope for the future. Conclusion: The findings suggest that educational programs in LPKA are effective in reshaping the self-perception of juvenile offenders, contributing to their psychological growth and readiness for reintegration into society. Abstrak Latar Belakang: Pemaknaan diri pada anak binaan di LPKA (Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak) memiliki peranan penting dalam proses rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi sosial mereka. Anak binaan yang mengalami konflik hukum seringkali memiliki pandangan negatif terhadap diri mereka sendiri yang mempengaruhi perilaku mereka. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali bagaimana anak binaan di LPKA Kelas 1 Tangerang memaknai perubahan diri mereka setelah mengikuti program pendidikan yang ada di sana. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 5 anak binaan yang telah mengikuti program pendidikan di LPKA. Data dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi NVivo 12 untuk mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama terkait perubahan pemaknaan diri. Hasil: Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa program pendidikan di LPKA berperan signifikan dalam mengubah pemaknaan diri anak binaan, memperbaiki rasa percaya diri, dan membangkitkan harapan untuk masa depan. Simpulan: Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan di LPKA efektif dalam membentuk pandangan positif anak binaan terhadap diri mereka, yang dapat mendukung proses rehabilitasi dan reintegrasi mereka ke masyarakat.

Abstract

Dengan menggunakan tinjauan literatur sebelumnya, penelitian ini menyelidiki kondisi psikologis narapidana dan proses reintegrasi sosial mereka di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dan kemandirian merupakan komponen penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis narapidana baik selama masa tahanan maupun setelahnya. Narapidana memiliki kemampuan untuk bertahan, yang dipengaruhi oleh usia, etnis, dukungan keluarga, dan penerimaan diri, yang membantu mereka beradaptasi dan pulih dari tekanan. Terbukti bahwa narapidana dapat mempertahankan diri, mengatasi stres, dan mempercepat reintegrasi sosial setelah pembebasan dengan dukungan sosial, terutama dari keluarga. Meskipun program rehabilitasi sangat penting, namun seringkali terhambat oleh kelebihan kapasitas, fasilitas yang tidak memadai, dan stigma sosial. Program rehabilitasi berbasis komunitas dan dukungan spiritual menunjukkan peningkatan resiliensi narapidana. Penelitian ini menekankan betapa pentingnya meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis dan resiliensi narapidana di Indonesia melalui program rehabilitasi yang mencakup dukungan sosial, spiritual, dan komprehensif.

Abstract

This study examines the application of restorative justice as an alternative approach to addressing the persistent problem of overcrowding in Indonesian correctional institutions. Overcrowding driven by the dominant use of imprisonment—has undermined the rehabilitative function of prisons, increased health and security risks, and reduced the overall effectiveness of correctional programs. Using a library research method with a descriptive qualitative approach, this study analyzes legal frameworks, policy documents, and empirical research relevant to restorative justice and alternative sentencing. Literature searches were conducted through databases such as Sage, Elsevier, Cochrane Library, SSRN, and Google Scholar. Following a PRISMA-based selection process of 87 initial documents, 13 publications (2013–2025), including academic articles, policy reports, and statutory regulations, met the inclusion criteria. The findings indicate that restorative justice has significant potential to reduce incarceration rates through resolution mechanisms centered on healing, accountability, and social reintegration. However, its implementation in Indonesia remains constrained by limited human resources, a predominantly retributive legal culture, and weak inter-agency coordination. These findings underscore the need for stronger regulatory support, expansion of restorative mechanisms into the correctional stage, and data-driven evaluation to reduce overcrowding and advance a more humane and effective penal system.

Abstract

The phenomenon of using thesis jockey services among students is increasingly widespread and has become a serious problem in higher education in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the factors that encourage students to use thesis jockey services and analyze its impact on the quality of higher education. The method used is a literature review encompassing various empirical studies related to this topic. The findings indicate that academic pressure, lack of time management skills, and low academic integrity are the main factors driving students to seek shortcuts through thesis jockey services. The use of these services negatively impacts students' academic skill development and damages the reputation of educational institutions. To address this issue, comprehensive strategies are needed, including strengthening supervision systems, enforcing sanctions, developing character education programs, and providing adequate academic support. Fenomena penggunaan jasa joki skripsi di kalangan mahasiswa semakin marak dan menjadi masalah serius dalam dunia pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendorong mahasiswa menggunakan jasa joki skripsi serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur yang mencakup berbagai studi empiris terkait topik ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tekanan akademik, kurangnya keterampilan manajemen waktu, dan rendahnya integritas akademik merupakan faktor utama yang mendorong mahasiswa mencari jalan pintas melalui jasa joki skripsi. Penggunaan jasa ini berdampak negatif pada pengembangan keterampilan akademik mahasiswa dan merusak reputasi institusi pendidikan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, diperlukan strategi komprehensif yang meliputi penguatan sistem pengawasan, penegakan sanksi, pengembangan program pendidikan karakter, dan penyediaan dukungan akademik yang memadai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji efektivitas program rehabilitasi narapidana dalam sistem pemasyarakatan Indonesia melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis. Tingginya tingkat residivisme di Indonesia menekankan perlunya program rehabilitasi yang efektif untuk mendukung reintegrasi sosial narapidana. Studi ini meninjau penelitian sebelumnya tentang berbagai jenis program rehabilitasi, termasuk pelatihan keterampilan, konseling psikologis, dan program pendidikan. Penelitian ini menyoroti peran penting faktor internal, seperti motivasi dan kesehatan mental narapidana, serta faktor eksternal, seperti kondisi overcrowding di lapas dan dukungan pasca-bebas, dalam menentukan keberhasilan program-program tersebut. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun program pelatihan keterampilan dan pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi, intervensi psikologis, khususnya terapi perilaku kognitif (CBT), memiliki dampak yang lebih kuat dalam mengurangi perilaku kriminal. Namun, efektivitas program-program ini sering kali terhambat oleh tantangan struktural seperti keterbatasan sumber daya dan kesenjangan antara kebijakan dan pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa program rehabilitasi yang komprehensif, disertai dengan dukungan pasca-bebas yang memadai, sangat penting untuk mengurangi tingkat residivisme dan meningkatkan reintegrasi sosial narapidana di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of the Qurani method in teaching the Qur'an within correctional facilities, focusing on its effect on improving recitation skills and fostering religious character among inmates. The Qurani method, which employs a systematic and structured approach, helps participants gradually develop proficiency in reading the Qur'an. It consists of four stages: the introduction to Arabic letters, learning correct pronunciation with vowel marks, understanding tajwid rules, and practicing Qur'anic recitation with correct intonation. The method not only enhances technical skills in reading but also promotes spiritual and moral development, which are crucial for the rehabilitation of inmates. Despite its proven effectiveness, the implementation of this method faces challenges such as limited human resources, time constraints, and the varying motivation of inmates. Nevertheless, the Qurani method remains a promising tool for reintegrating inmates into society by improving their reading skills and instilling moral values.
