Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of improving the quality of graduates at STISIP Tasikmalaya in facing the challenges of globalization. The importance of this research lies in addressing the gap in the literature regarding comprehensive strategies that integrate curriculum development, soft skills enhancement, and industry collaboration holistically, especially in the context of local universities. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involved in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that STISIP Tasikmalaya's strategies, such as strengthening competency-based curriculum, soft skills training, and internship programs, have improved graduates' readiness to face global challenges. This strategy is proven effective through tracer study data which shows that 90% of graduates get jobs in less than six months. However, the institution still faces obstacles such as limited resources and regional competition. This research has implications for the development of a strategic framework for other universities in responding to global dynamics, as well as providing guidance for creating competitive and adaptive graduates.

Abstract

The facilities and infrastructure of Islamic boarding schools are crucial aspects that need attention. This is because they influence the learning process and the comfort of students residing in the boarding schools. Comfort in teaching and learning activities greatly affects the success of the educational process in Islamic boarding schools. This research employs a library research approach. The data collection technique used involves seeking information on relevant variables such as records, books, papers, articles, journals, and so on. The research results indicate that, from an Islamic perspective, management refers to the concept of regulation as commanded by Allah in the Qur'an. The concept of facilities and infrastructure management in Islamic boarding schools from an Islamic perspective is clarified through explanations about the processes of planning, procurement, distribution, maintenance, inventory, and disposal of facilities and infrastructure in Islamic boarding schools. This article also discusses the Islamic view on the importance of managing the facilities and infrastructure of Islamic boarding schools, as depicted in the Qur'an and Hadith. Therefore, Islamic boarding schools must pay attention to these aspects, especially with the existence of the Education Management Information System (EMIS), which is useful for managing data on students, teachers, and facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Program Bimbingan Konesling (BK) menjadi komponen utama yang harus ada dalam sebuah lembaga pendidikan. MAS YBH Cimindi menjadi objek penelitian utama dalam menganalisis efektivitas program BK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji analisis efektivitas program bimbingan konseling pendidikan: pendekatan kasus di MAS YBH Cimindi. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian kepustakaan dalam kurun waktu 10 tahun terakhir. Penelitian kepustakaan ini berfokus pada analisis efektivitas program bimbingan konseling pendidikan: pendekatan kasus di MAS YBH Cimindi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan beberapa data diantaranya MAS YBH Cimindi sudah memiliki program secara administrasi dan berhasil dijalankan. Terdapat 3 tahapan dalam menjalankan program BK di MAS YBH Cimindi. (1). Perencanaan, diawal semester guru BK mensosialisasikan program yang akan dilaksanakan kedepannya, serta proses penyusunan program ini mengacu terhadap kebutuhan siswa, kebutuhan sekolah, modul, dan RPP. (2). Pelaksanaan, dalam proses pelaksanaan program BK terbagi menjadi 4 bagian yaitu program harian, bulanan, semesteran, dan tahunan. Beberapa program BK diantaranya rekapitulasi absensi kedua, kuisioner, wide game, kosultasi pribadi, sosial, belajar, karir dan Asesmen Minat Bakat (AMB). (3). Pengaawasn, setiap program yang berjalan di MAS YBH Cimindi diawasi oleh Kepala Madrasah dan dievaluasi setiap satu bulan atau setiap semester. Sebagai kesimpulan, MAS YBH Cimindi memiliki program Bimbingan dan Konseling yang sudah mapan dan dijalankan dengan efektif, menunjukkan komitmen untuk mengatasi kebutuhan siswa melalui perencanaan komprehensif, pelaksanaan program yang beragam, serta pemantauan dan evaluasi secara teratur.
