Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of education teachers in designing and implementing effective training programs to improve the physical skills, health and development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students at SD Negeri 060913 Medan Tembung. The main problem raised is how teachers can design training programs that suit students' needs and abilities and how the methods used can improve students' physical skills effectively. This research uses a qualitative approach with interview methods and direct observation of learning activities in Koper education classes. Data was collected through interviews with the sports teacher, Muhammad Fadli Azmi, and several students, as well as observations of the training activities carried out. The research results show that teachers use various training programs that focus on warm-up, games and coordination exercises according to the weekly theme. The methods applied, such as learning while playing, have proven to be effective in improving students' physical skills. Students' active involvement in sports activities is also obtained through a motivational approach and a variety of exercises. Teachers also provide constructive feedback to increase student enthusiasm. Suggestions for further research are to examine further the factors that influence the success of training programs as well as the influence of training programs on students' social and emotional development.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the development and management strategies of the Youth Red Cross (PMR) organization in developing the character of students at SDN 060913, especially in the values of responsibility, discipline, cooperation, and social concern. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data obtained through observation and interviews with 26 active PMR students. The findings show that activities such as first aid training, disaster simulations, and social actions effectively increase discipline, sense of responsibility, teamwork, and concern for the surrounding environment of students. Positive behavioral changes are seen in school life and daily activities. The PMR program has proven to be an effective tool for forming character from an early age. Recommendations are given to expand the reach of activities so that the impact is wider and more sustainable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai strategi pembinaan dan pengelolaan organisasi Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) dalam mengembangkan karakter siswa SDN 060913, terutama pada nilai tanggung jawab, disiplin, kerja sama, dan kepedulian sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan data yang diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara terhadap 26 peserta didik aktif PMR. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan seperti pelatihan pertolongan pertama, simulasi bencana, dan aksi sosial secara efektif meningkatkan disiplin, rasa tanggung jawab, kerja sama tim, serta kepedulian peserta didik terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. Perubahan perilaku positif terlihat dalam kehidupan sekolah dan aktivitas sehari-hari. Program PMR terbukti menjadi alat yang efektif untuk membentuk karakter sejak dini. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk memperluas jangkauan kegiatan agar dampaknya lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan teknik dasar permainan bola kasti pada siswa kelas V UPT SD Negeri 060913 Medan Tembung. Teknik dasar yang diamati meliputi melempar, menangkap, memukul, dan berlari ke base. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi langsung terhadap 23 siswa, terdiri atas 7 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa perempuan. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berlari ke base memiliki persentase penguasaan tertinggi sebesar 73,9%, sedangkan kemampuan memukul bola merupakan yang terendah, yaitu 21,7%. Melempar dan menangkap berada pada kategori sedang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembelajaran berkelanjutan dan strategi latihan yang terstruktur agar keterampilan siswa dapat berkembang secara maksimal.
