Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan kepalangmerahan di SD IT Ummi Darussalam dengan fokus pada pengenalan dan pelatihan pertolongan pertama, khususnya dalam menangani kasus pingsan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus untuk menggali pemahaman siswa secara mendalam terkait pertolongan pertama. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana siswa mampu mengaplikasikan teori yang telah diajarkan dalam konteks nyata, terutama dalam situasi darurat. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi aktivitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki pemahaman teoritis yang cukup mengenai langkah-langkah dasar pertolongan pertama, seperti memastikan keamanan lingkungan, memeriksa respons korban, serta memberikan posisi pemulihan. Namun, kurangnya pengalaman praktis menjadi hambatan utama dalam implementasi penanganan langsung. Siswa cenderung ragu-ragu dan tidak percaya diri dalam menerapkan keterampilan tersebut ketika dihadapkan pada situasi nyata. Selain itu, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana seperti alat bantu simulasi menjadi kendala lain yang diidentifikasi dalam penelitian ini. Dari temuan ini, direkomendasikan adanya pelatihan pertolongan pertama berbasis pengetahuan medis dasar yang lebih terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Pelatihan ini mencakup simulasi kasus pingsan dengan skenario yang mendekati kenyataan agar siswa dapat melatih respons mereka secara langsung. Dengan pendekatan ini, siswa diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan praktis, mengurangi risiko kesalahan dalam penanganan darurat, serta mendukung proses penyembuhan korban dengan lebih efektif. Implementasi pelatihan ini juga dapat memperkuat budaya peduli terhadap keselamatan dan kesehatan di lingkungan sekolah, yang pada akhirnya berdampak positif terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan kepalangmerahan yang lebih aplikatif di tingkat sekolah dasar, sekaligus menjadi referensi bagi institusi pendidikan lain dalam mengajarkan keterampilan penyelamatan nyawa sejak dini.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of education teachers in designing and implementing effective training programs to improve the physical skills, health and development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students at SD Negeri 060913 Medan Tembung. The main problem raised is how teachers can design training programs that suit students' needs and abilities and how the methods used can improve students' physical skills effectively. This research uses a qualitative approach with interview methods and direct observation of learning activities in Koper education classes. Data was collected through interviews with the sports teacher, Muhammad Fadli Azmi, and several students, as well as observations of the training activities carried out. The research results show that teachers use various training programs that focus on warm-up, games and coordination exercises according to the weekly theme. The methods applied, such as learning while playing, have proven to be effective in improving students' physical skills. Students' active involvement in sports activities is also obtained through a motivational approach and a variety of exercises. Teachers also provide constructive feedback to increase student enthusiasm. Suggestions for further research are to examine further the factors that influence the success of training programs as well as the influence of training programs on students' social and emotional development.
