Abstract

Mathematic literacy is important in children from an early age because mathematics plays a very important role in everyday life. Introducing mathematical concepts early, building strong numeracy skills and involving students in meaningful mathematical activities. The purpose of this service is to reinforce mathematical literacy through integrated matriculation of the environment for children in the Tamo Dhua environment. Matriculation activities were carried out for 5 days for children in the Tamo Dhua Environment consisting of grades I to VII to strengthen children's mathematical literacy by teaching mathematical concepts and linking them to examples of everyday life. The results of this service activity are that children's mathematical literacy has increased, children increasingly like mathematics and children are very enthusiastic about participating in the matriculation activities.

Abstract

. Literacy improvement training in both reading and arithmetic with educational games for children in the Tamo Dhua neighborhood, Majene Regency, will be held in June - July 2023. The activity begins with initial observations to find out real data on the literacy skills of children in the Tamo Dhua neighborhood, Majene Regency, then holding numeracy training with educational games, reading training with educational games as well as providing an evaluation in the form of a rating of 1 to determine the ability of participants after being given training. The results obtained are that children are enthusiastic and active in receiving the material provided. Children who initially could not recognize letters and numbers, after attending the training were able to recognize letters and numbers and some even could read or count.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi membawa dampak positif bagi kemajuan dunia pendidikan. Guru sebagai pelaku utama pendidikan harus mampu melakukan inovasi dan menerapkan kemajuan teknologi agar pembelajaran menyenangkan dan tidak menjenuhkan. Proses pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran Abad 21 memerlukan kemampuan guru dalam bidang teknologi, terutama dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran yang mudah dan menarik.  PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan memberikan pendampingan dan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran kepada guru aplikasi Math City Map. Hal ini dilandasi karena kurangnya pemahaman guru matematika terkait penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif dan menyenangkan. Sehingga, pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Math City Map pada Forum MGMP Wilayah II Polewali Mandar merupakan alternatif solusi yang ditawarkan. Hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan ditemukan antusiasme guru dan respon guru sangat baik, hal ini ditunjukkan keaktifan guru dalam bertanya dan guru dapat mendesain media pembelajran sesuai dengan kreasi guru masing-masing yang lengkap dan kreatif
