Abstract

The rapid development of technology should make students' learning outcomes increase, but in reality, what happens at SMA Negeri 01 Kunir - Lumajang is that students' learning outcomes are low or tend to be unstable. This is apparently caused by the unbalanced number of educators with classes that must be taught. As a result, educators are overwhelmed, and the learning process is boring due to the lack of preparation of educators in using learning models and media. From the description above, the researcher intends to conduct a study using interactive-based Wordwall learning media with the help of Talking Stick to find out whether there is an effect of interactive Wordwall media assisted by Talking Stick on improving student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 01 Kunir - Lumajang. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design type. The technique used to determine the research sample is the Random Sampling technique. Before applying Wordwall interactive media assisted by Talking Stick to the experimental class, the control class and experimental class were both given a pretest to determine the initial ability of the two samples. And it turns out that the results of the two classes are both normally distributed and homogeneous variants. After the application of interactive media Wordwall with Talking Stick, followed by giving the final question (posttest) in the control and experimental classes to determine the results of the application. The result is an increase in the learning value of students in the experimental class. Calculation of values using SPSS shows a very significant difference, learning outcomes with a value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 1.000> 0.05, meaning that the experimental class scores tend to be higher than the control class. So it can be concluded that the use of interactive media Wordwall assisted by Talking Stick has an influence on improving student learning outcomes, especially in class XI students of SMA Negeri 01 Kunir - Lumajang with the material of tolerance and maintaining human life.

The research method uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques, observation, and document studies. The research was conducted in Indonesia, where the implementation of inclusive education is increasingly strengthened as part of expanding access to education and implementing the principle of equality. The results of the study indicate that teachers play an important role in creating an inclusive learning environment. This is done through curriculum adaptation, the application of differentiated learning methods, and classroom management that encourages collaboration between regular students and students with special needs. In addition, training and support from schools and the government are key factors in improving teacher capacity. Teachers not only act as teachers, but also as facilitators, motivators, and mentors who help student development. This study emphasizes the importance of the role of teachers as the vanguard in inclusive education. Effective implementation requires competent teachers and is supported by a supportive education ecosystem. These findings contribute to the development of inclusive education policies and practices, especially in improving the quality of inclusive and equitable learning in Indonesia.

Abstract:This study aims to explore the strategy of local wisdom-based branding to enhance the competitive advantage of SMA Islam Miftahul Arifin. Branding rooted in local cultural values is expected to strengthen the identity of this educational institution and increase its appeal in the eyes of the community, especially in the face of increasingly fierce competition in the education sector. The research was conducted at SMA Islam Miftahul Arifin, located in Patokan Village, Bantaran Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency. This location was chosen because of its community's strong adherence to local cultural values, which play a crucial role in the branding strategy implemented by the institution. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, staff, and parents, as well as document analysis related to the branding strategies that have been applied at the school. The data analysis technique employed was thematic analysis, which allows the researcher to identify and analyze significant patterns in the data collected. The aim of this study is to provide an in-depth understanding of how a local wisdom-based competitive advantage framing strategy can be implemented in educational institution branding, and how this strategy affects the image and quality of education at SMA Islam Miftahul Arifin. This study is expected to contribute to the development of effective branding strategies for other educational institutions that aim to strengthen their position amid intense competition in the educational sector. By leveraging local wisdom in their branding, schools can build a distinctive identity that resonates with the values of the surrounding community, ultimately helping them to attract more students and stakeholders. In conclusion, the findings from this research highlight the importance of local wisdom in educational branding as a means of enhancing competitive advantage. By integrating local culture into their branding strategies, educational institutions can not only improve their appeal but also ensure that their values and mission align with the needs and expectations of the community they serve.
