Abstract

This paper presents the effectiveness of focus group Discussion and critical thinking model on literacy skills of educational supervisor in Ministry of Religious Affairs, Probolinggo, East Java, Indonesia. This study adopts a quantitative research approach and uses a a quasi-experimental quasi-experimental study with a randomized pretest-post-test with control group design. The study shows that there are differences of literacy ability in education supervisor in Ministry of Religious Affairs, Probolinggo between focus group discussion (FGD) with critical thinking literacy ability. The focus group discussion approach is more effective in improving literacy skill. The scientific work shown with the average post test score is higher than the treatment-treated class of critical thinking.

Abstract

Motivation learners today are experiencing a lot of fluctuating. This makes the learners in following the learning process seem only fulfill the obligation to take the exam. Therefore, teachers as facilitators who have full responsibility in educating and educating children of the nation are required to have a strategy that can change the learning paradigm of learners to be able to improve learning motivation. Teachers need to apply learning innovations that can foster motivation and develop the creativity of learners. The selection of strategies as an appropriate learning innovation certainly provides a broad impact on the results and learning achievements of learners. In addition, efforts made by teachers in improving motivation learners can not be separated from the selection of methods and the right learning approach as well. Appropriate learning methods and approaches are intended to accommodate the interests of fulfillment and achievement of predetermined learning objectives. In every implementation of learning methods and approaches, learning and media resources are needed to help learners understand and apply the learning materials developed by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze self-efficacy in building the professionalism of Islamic Education teachers at MTs Darul Ulum, Bungatan, Situbondo, East Java. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenology. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis was carried out in a circular manner by following the Spradley model, namely; domain analysis, taxonomy analysis, componential analysis, and discovering cultural themes. The results showed that increasing the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers through self-efficacy at MTs Darul Ulum Bungatan, Situbondo was carried out through; delegation of authority given by the leadership to teachers, strengthening of self-commitment as the basis for strengthening dedication, quality-oriented teacher behavior as an organizational culture and building a positive thinking attitude to strengthen performance and a spirit of dedication.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren selalu diibaratkan bengkel bagi masyarakat terdekatnya, ia selalu terpercaya dan bahkan diyakini mampu mengubah degradasi moral yang kini makin terkikis jaman. Karna itulah pondok pesantren acapkali menerima anak-anak “nakal” untuk segera disembuhkan. Hal itu adalah lumrah terjadi manakala orangtua sudah pasrah terhadap lingkungan sang anak yang terkontaminasi dengan aura negatif. Dan konon, walaupun tidak dapat dibuktikan secara ilmiyah, namun kiat-kiat pondok pesantren dalam menggembleng santri untuk terbiasa berbuat baik dapat diamati dan diobservasi. Kiat-kiat dan strategi itulah keunikannya yang membedakan ia dengan lembaga formal lainnya, memilki karismatik tersendiri. Adapun metode penetian ini yaitu jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif atau labrary reseach, yang mana teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui analisis literasi dan observasi dokumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi husus pondok pesantren dalam meningkatkan karakter nasionalis santri secara umum baik di kalanganpondok pesantren salaf maupun pondok pesantren modern. Adapun hasil enelitiannya yaitu pengaplikasian keimanan yang benar terhadap hubbul wathan, menguatkan militansi ideologi, menyusun kurikulum kotraradikalisme, mengembangkan kemandirian ummat, solidaritas antar tokoh dan menguatkan kerjasama sinergi seluruh elemen bangsa.

Abstract

There has recently been a spike in student enthusiasm in using technology to engage in their study. Augmented reality is one of the technologies that has been determined to be acceptable for usage in educational settings such as science, mathematics, and engineering. As a result, this study looked into the usefulness of employing mobile augmented reality (MAR) to improve students' speaking skills. This study employed a quasi-experimental approach with two groups: control and experimental. They are conducting MAR and traditional instructional methods teaching and learning sessions. According to the findings of this study, students in the experimental group demonstrated considerably higher levels of speaking skills than those in the control group following teaching and learning. Furthermore, this study discovered that MAR can help to highlight student-centered learning, stimulate student interest and curiosity, improve student cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor processes, and increase student involvement in the information-seeking process. It is recommended that educators employ MAR in their teaching and learning since it has effectively improved students' speaking skills and encouraged a better grasp of knowledge

Abstract

Culture is a value, norm, morals and beliefs, assumptions that are believed by the commodities of society. A culture that expresses a person's behavior is distorted, right, wrong, or good. As social beings, human beings give birth to systems of thinking, values, norms, rules and beliefs. However, humans also become part of what it produces. When human life moves with its dynamics, the dynamically moving is the systematic it has produced. Cultural education is done through the education of values or virtues that become the basic values of the nation's culture. The virtue that attributes culture is essentially value. Therefore, cultural education is basically the development of values derived from the perspective of life or ideology of the Indonesian nation, religion, culture, and values formulated in the goals of national education.

Abstract

Pesantren and social value system is the result of constructing kiai's thoughts and social actions as an inseparable entity. This study aims to interpret the role and social action of kiai Moh Hasan, both as a fighter (al-haiah al-jihaadi li'izzi al-Islaami wal muslimin) in the community as well as guidance and guidance for the community (al-haiah al ta 'awuny wa al takafuly wal al ittijaahi) and teaching in educational institutions (al-haiah al ta'lim wa al-tarbiyah), significantly contributes greatly to the social realities of society in Indonesia. Portrait of central figure kiai Moh Hasan can not be separated from the depth of his field of Islamic science, simplicity, kezuhudan, struggle, sincerity and generosity. This view, not only recognized among the people around the boarding school, students and colleagues, but also spread in some areas in Indonesia. The fame of kiai Moh Hasan among scholars, habaib and society has many karamah and some other privileges, not even a few from the social recognition of kiai Moh Hasan Genggong, because the kiai are believed to have closeness with God, thus perceived as auliya'Allah. Thus the role and social actions of the kiai above, gave birth to the value system, so as to influence and move the social action of other individuals. The internalization of the aforementioned values becomes social capital in building a spiritual-based transformative leadership, as a strong leadership model and conducts various changes in the social field, by transforming the value of the ethical values.

Abstract

This paper aims to explore the concept of curriculum management implementation in the learning of the kitab kuning at Islamic boarding schools. Through good and correct management of kitab kuning learning, it is expected that kitab kuning learning outcomes can be achieved optimally. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The data analysis technique uses content analysis. The results showed that the management of the kitab kuning curriculum in pesantren was carried out in an integrated manner, because the integrated curriculum had a learning approach that allowed students, both individually and in groups to actively search, explore, and find concepts. Not to forget this integrated curriculum is a new curriculum without leaving the previous curriculum model, so that the integration of the old and new curriculum models can strengthen pesantren education as a unique, creative, and unique institution.

Abstract

The emergence of instant products has a major impact on people's perspectives and behavior. Many people do not want to be difficult in owning a house, so PT Karya Cipta Sakinah uses this great opportunity to build a medium-sized business that is engaged in the developer. The business that was carried out began with the use of own capital which is now expanding into a larger business aimed at supporting the government's "Million Houses" program. The sharia marketing strategy implemented by PT Karya Cipta Sakinah which prioritizes sharia elements brings a lot of blessings, this has a big impact on the increase in consumer response and blessed profit. PT Karya Cipta Sakinah initially used promotional strategies through print media which were considered less effective. And now increasingly expanding its wings by using a Facebook account as an accurate means of proper promotion to facilitate the delivery of business product information to the wider community. In this case the researcher uses the research method "Qualitative Descriptive Analysis" with data collection techniques "observation, interviews and documentation"

Abstract

This paper presents the Smart Parenting Democratic in Building the Character of the Child. The character that is embedded in a child is strongly influenced by the role of the parent, in which the parent becomes the first person in terms of planting moral, religious, social and other values. Related parenting methods of parenting, there are various types that can be used such as authoritarian parenting, permissive parenting, and democratic parenting. Therefore, to be a smart parent is very necessary to always develop a method of care that is considered good to be applied to his children. Democratic parenting is one of the most effective parenting styles compared to other parenting styles.
