Abstract

This study aims to describe the tolerance attitudes of students in Islamic boarding schools, focusing on three aspects: peace, respect for differences and individuals, and awareness. The research method is descriptive quantitative, utilizing a Likert scale questionnaire for data collection. Results indicate that 48% of students exhibit very high tolerance in the peace aspect, while 52% show high tolerance. Regarding respect for differences and individuals, 55% of students demonstrate very high tolerance and 45% show high tolerance. In the awareness aspect, 59% of students display very high tolerance, and 41% show high tolerance. Overall, 60% of students have a very high tolerance attitude, and 40% show a high tolerance attitude. These findings highlight that Islamic boarding schools foster an environment conducive to developing academically proficient students with strong religious and tolerant attitudes. The implication is that Islamic boarding schools play a vital role in shaping students who are not only academically capable but also possess strong religious and tolerant attitudes. This suggests that an educational approach integrating Islamic spiritual values with general knowledge can be an effective model for fostering a more inclusive and socially aware generation. Furthermore, this model demonstrates the potential of education to serve as a bridge for understanding and respecting cultural and religious diversity, equipping students with the skills and values needed to contribute positively to a pluralistic society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship and causal effects between independent and dependent variables, namely the Learning Environment and Students' Mathematics Achievement, using a causal-correlational study at SDN 074 Ayudia, Bandung City, with a population of all students and a sample of 28 students from class VB. This study uses a quantitative research method with an explanatory research approach. The sampling technique employed was probability sampling using simple random sampling, while the instruments used were questionnaires and tests. The analysis requirements for the data used include normality testing using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and linearity testing, with hypotheses involving correlation and regression analysis assisted by SPSS version 26. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the Learning Environment has a significant influence on Students' Mathematics Achievement. The normality test results indicate that the data is normally distributed, thus meeting the requirements for further statistical analysis.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the idea of educational transformation according to Hadratussyaikh Hasyim Asy'ari as stated in the book Adabul 'Alim wal Muta'alim, as a legacy of classical Islamic thought that is relevant in the modern context. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method through hermeneutic text analysis of the contents of the book, and contextualized with contemporary educational issues. The main findings of this study show that Hasyim Asy'ari not only emphasizes ethical aspects in the relationship between teacher and student, but also contains systemic ideas regarding the integration of religious and moral sciences, character building, and the importance of exemplary in educational transformation. These ideas reflect a holistic education model based on spiritual and moral values, which offers a critique of modern education that tends to be secular and instrumental. Thus, Hasyim Asy'ari's thought is a significant contribution in formulating an educational paradigm that is not only oriented to the transfer of knowledge, but also to the formation of the whole person. This finding enriches the treasures of Islamic thought in the field of education and opens space for the development of character education models in the current global context.

Abstract

The phenomenon of underage marriage in Banyuwangi Regency is a crucial issue that shows an alarming trend even though the minimum age of marriage has been increased. This study aims to examine the impact of the marriage dispensation policy intervention implemented by the Banyuwangi Regency Government in an effort to reduce the number of underage marriages that occur among teenagers. This research uses a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach that collects data through observation, interviews and documentation and the data analysis was carried out using the reduction, presentation, and conclusion stages. The results showed that policy intervention through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the local government and Banyuwangi Religious Court, which requires recommendations for psychological maturity and reproductive health checks for marriage dispensation applicants, has had a positive impact. There has been a decrease in the number of marriage dispensation applications granted since September 2024. The policy has also strengthened the objective basis for judges in deciding cases and encouraged a shift in society's perspective on the importance of marriage readiness. However, the implementation of this policy still faces challenges related to the influence of religious and traditional leaders. Therefore, the recommendation to involve religious and customary leaders in education is considered important to align the policy with local values and achieve long-term effectiveness in preventing underage marriage. [Fenomena pernikahan di bawah umur di Kabupaten Banyuwangi merupakan isu krusial yang menunjukkan tren mengkhawatirkan meskipun batas minimum usia pernikahan telah ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dampak intervensi kebijakan dispensasi nikah yang diterapkan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Banyuwangi dalam upaya menekan angka pernikahan di bawah umur yang terjadi di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis yang mengumpulkan data mealui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta analisis data dilakukan menggunakan tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi kebijakan melalui penandatanganan Nota Kesepahaman (MoU) antara pemerintah Daerah dan Pengadilan Agama Banyuwangi, yang mensyaratkan rekomendasi kematangan psikologis dan pemeriksaan kesehatan reproduksi bagi pemohon dispensasi nikah, telah memberikan dampak positif. Terdapat penurunan jumlah permohonan dispensasi nikah yang dikabulkan sejak September 2024. Kebijakan ini juga memperkuat dasar objektif bagi hakim dalam memutuskan perkara serta mendorong pergeseran cara pandang masyarakat tentang pentingnya kesiapan menikah. Meskipun demikian, implementasi kebijakan ini masih menghadapi tantangan terkait pengaruh tokoh agama dan adat. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi melibatkan tokoh agama dan adat dalam edukasi dianggap penting untuk menyelaraskan kebijakan dengan nilai lokal serta mencapai efektivitas jangka panjang dalam pencegahan pernikahan di bawah umur.]

Abstract

The community service program titled "Technology-Based Village MSME Empowerment" aims to enhance the competitiveness of rural MSMEs through digital technology adoption and financial management training. The program employed various methods, including lectures, hands-on training, group discussions, Q&A sessions, simulations, and post-training evaluations. A total of 102 MSME entrepreneurs from diverse sectors—culinary, handicrafts, fashion, and services—participated in the training held in Jombang. The training covered topics such as digital technology introduction, digital marketing strategies, the utilization of digital applications for business operations, and business collaboration techniques. Evaluation results indicated that 78% of participants found the training highly beneficial for business development in digital marketing, 70% successfully enhanced their digital marketing effectiveness, and 65% improved their financial management capabilities. The findings demonstrate that an integrated, technology-driven approach can help MSMEs adapt to the digital era, boost revenue, and strengthen business sustainability. The program concludes by emphasizing the importance of continuous training through multi-stakeholder collaboration, mentorship, and digital infrastructure development. This initiative presents an effective MSME empowerment model that can be adapted and implemented on a broader scale, considering local needs and conditions.

Abstract

Attitude building is an essential aspect in the formation of a student’s personality, especially in the context of Islamic education. KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, through the book Adabul Alim Wa Muta’alim emphasizes the importance of fostering students’ manners and attitudes as the main foundation in the learning process. This study aims to explore KH. Hasyim Asy’ari’s thoughts on the ideal attitude of students towards knowledge, teachers, and the learning environment and its relevance to the formation of attitude today. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that values such as sincerity, respect, seriousness, and discipline are the main pillars in the formation of student attitude. This idea is very relevant to be applied in the modern education system in order to create a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent, but also noble. This study contributes to the enrichment of Islamic educational discourse by offering a contemporary interpretation of K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari’s classical adab principles, providing educators and policymakers with practical insights to strengthen moral and spiritual character formation in today’s learning environments.
