Abstract

In 2001, the placement of PPPK teachers who had passed the PPPK selection was carried out in stages. During stages 3 and 4, the GTK division was given the authority to place and relocate PPPK teachers. However, in practice, issues were causing 1,000 out of 3,800 teachers (stage 3) and 1,000 out of 4,850 teachers (stage 4) to be assigned to inappropriate locations. Therefore, adequate organizational capacity is required. Organizational capacity is the ability of an organization to utilize its resources to solve problems and achieve established goals. This research was conducted at the West Java Provincial Education Office to determine the organizational capacity of the West Java Provincial Education Office in the field of Teachers and Education Personnel for placing PPPK teachers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method, employing data collection techniques from observations, documentation, and in-depth interviews with GTK staff who have authority over the placement of PPPK teachers. The results of this research are described based on the components of organizational capacity according to Horton et al. (2003), which consist of human resources, infrastructure, technology, financial resources, strategic leadership, program and process management, and cooperation and relations with other parties. he research results indicate that the organizational capacity in the Department of Education of West Java Province in the Teacher and Education Personnel Division (GTK) does not yet fully meet all five organizational capacity factors by Horton et al. in the placement of PPPK teachers. The unmet capacities include human resources, technology, cooperation, and relations. Meanwhile, the capacities for process and strategic leadership are considered fulfilled. The author concludes that the unmet capacities are due to the limited competence of employees, which affects other capacities

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of manifestation of one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely the service carried out by students to the community which is constructive, improving and developing. This Community Service Program aims to make a real contribution in improving the quality of life of the community. The activities carried out cover several aspects, ranging from health, disaster mitigation, community empowerment, to infrastructure, and educational aspects. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of community service as part of student competency development. The implementation of KKN is expected to develop students' social competence and personality competence. The population and sample in this study were students participating in KKN and the community at the location of the implementation of KKN Students. The data collection methods used were observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this KKN activity are expected to increase public awareness of the importance of health, disaster mitigation and village potential. In addition, the infrastructure improvements made are expected to improve the quality of life of the community. Abstract

Perubahan lifestyle menuntut perempuan masa kini untuk kerap menggunakan high heels. Dalam penggunaan sepatu dengan hak yang tinggi, dapat menyebabkan ketegangan otot. Salah satu cara peregangan untuk menghilangkan kelelahan otot dengan stretching exercise. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yakni untuk mengetahui perbedaan waktu stretching terhadap kekuatan otot eksremitas inferior pada sales promotion girls (SPG) di Ramayana Kabupaten Bogor Timur Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian ini quasi experiment. Dipergunakan populasi SPG yang menggunakan high heels selama >4 jam. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan di Ramayana Kabupaten Bogor Timur. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara random sampling sehingga diperoleh sebanyak 24 orang sampel. Analisis data penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil uji statistik dengan uji Chi-Square tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia dan lama bekerja dengan kekuatan otot sedangkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tinggi hak sepatu memiliki nilai p (0,043<0,05) dan lama stretching memiliki nilai p (0,000<0,05) dengan kekuatan otot dan menghasilkan waktu stretching terbaik pada 10 menit.
